Chapter 145 Void and Sentry
The raging weather attacked the man with blasts that burned everything through on its way.
" Logan, try to hurt him. Scott, cover Logan and Storm. Hank, try to contact the city and other heroes. I will protect two of them."
Arthur took the command immediately, dividing the roles among themselves because he was the most experienced one here. Although Scott was an experienced leader, he didn't have enough experience against someone like this man, so nobody questioned his decision.
" Let the wind guide you!"
The roaring tornadoes tore everything apart on their way as the various satellites around the globe, took a picture of a giant cyclone eye in this area.
" This is bad! Hello, this is Quake. We have received irregular activity near North Carolina. The area has been jammed by the EMP intervention. Requesting immediate support. The target is presumably Xmen and Arthur."
The officer who heard immediately issued a red alert on the server as the heroes began to gear themselves. The full power of the omega level had been detected, so it was obvious that their enemies were as dangerous as them.
" Deploying to the nearby field. All units stand on the 6th terminal. I repeat all available units standby on the 6th terminal."
The radio issued several commands to the heroes as they made their way to the terminal where the upper echelons of the city were waiting with their uniforms.
Shisui who was caught off guard by this sudden emergency, felt something was happening to the city because even robots were on standby.
" What is going on?"
He asked a nearby elf with a serious face, believing he had to help them somehow.
" It is bad. We are at least having planetary level threat here because there were 2 instances of red level in the past. Both of them caused immense problems to the city and the world."
The elf shook his head with terror, knowing a powerful individual was battling against them.
" Where do I need to go to help? I can assure you that my strength is decent."
Hearing his words made the elf hesitate for a moment but ultimately he led him to the 6th terminal where he saw 20 to 30 individuals with different expressions.
" You are that kid from the other time. What do you need from us?"
Diana who was leading the group looked at him with a calm face, thinking he was lost, but to her surprise, he didn't say anything except grabbing the warp device which indicated he was coming with them.
" You have balls, kid."
Luke patted his shoulder, signaling others to be ready as they teleported near the field instantly.
" Listen up. Our opponent is assumed to be at least an omega-level mutant. Arthur and Xmen are currently fighting him by the looks of it and they need our help. Remember each omega-level mutant and similar people can easily alter the entire planet, so extreme caution is advised. "
Diana buckled her shield on her back, heading toward the direction where they saw the immense battle was happening.
Boom*
Logan crashed into the ground as his half faces were gone from the heat. He coughed blood from his mouth, looking at the man with fury in his eyes.
" Don't underestimate us!"
Scott covered Logan while shooting his laser beam at the man. The crimson hue and golden light entangled with each other, creating a huge heat wave in the air.
" What the hell are you?"
Arthur teleported behind him, throwing him to the ground with a cold face.
" I am Void."
He spoke with a calm face, dusting his clothes like it was nothing. The giant S symbol glowed on his waist, showing him that he wasn't going full out yet.
Before Arthur could move again, Void came crashing down to him while distracting Storm who was trying to distract him away. However, before he could do that, a lasso tied his body and a spear was thrown at him with incredible speed.
" Don't touch him, monster!"
Karna and Diana arrived first, disrupting him with their combination.
" I will kill all of you."
Void decided to end this play, trying to blast them away but a huge lightning came crashing down with Thor who was wearing his helmet.
