Middle School

7 years later (12 years old)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The lions would never get much better during his next 7 years there but considering his skills he was still a stand out.
Logan had started 6th grade now standing at around 5'1 he was very small but that didn't effect his game since he was the nimble type anyway. Although he had never wanted to leave the lions with all the friends he had there his parents had decided on a move to Miami which happens to be where his old friend Amari had moved to a couple years prior. With them luckily landing at the same school he was introduced to Amari's best friend DJ and they soon became best friends.
With the influence of the 2 he decided to play for the Miami Warriors who had been the best team in the Greater Miami league for the last 2 years in a row. And even winning it all in Florida just 2 years ago. The next week would be the first day in pads and hitting. They were in a wishbone formation with the tall and buff white blonde-haired kid by the name of DJ at fullback and middle linebacker, Amari was a black kid with neck length locks on the left as the main rb and corner back standing just a little bigger than Logan, Logan a black kid with a wild Mohawk now.
|System rewarding Logan with skill "God Speed"|
That's when a new tab showed up
Skills(clickable)
God Speed:
[Active Skill]
Increases speed by 1* for 1 quarter, can only be used once a game
After all these new skills Logan was exhausted and he was just ready to go to sleep.
After waking up in the morning he tumbled down a flight of stairs and ate breakfast with his dad, the former superstar. He then went to school and after being bored throughout his first 4 periods he finally got to hangout with his favorite group during lunch.
Of course there was DJ and Amari but there was also Devonte the other safety on the Warriors but the other 3 were from a cross city team called the Dade County Chiefs who were the Miami Warriors' biggest rivals. But that didn't do anything to stop the friendship except cause a lot of friendly banter.
The 3 from the Chiefs being Malik a tall lanky kid playing wide receiver and corner, Andreas playing wide receiver and outside linebacker, and Trey their quarterback.
The group always stuck together and we're inseparable but when they got on the field maybe it would be a different story.
That day at practice since it was the first day of practice everybody was excited about Oklahoma drills where two people would go head on in hitting. But, Logan was getting flashbacks when the coach put him up against DJ while DJ held a huge grin on his face.
When the whistle blew they weren't friends anymore DJ came at him slow but with that hulking figure he couldn't get more intimidating. The same scene as when he first started playing replayed itself like Deja Vu except this time Logan would never hear the end of it.
When the huge group went to the mall and at the sleepover that week DJ, Amari, and Von(Devonte) brought it up every chance they had and during the Madden tournament at Logan's house it was at an all time high.
"Why do you keep going for hit sticks you know you gon miss right" he laughed while speaking in his usual slang
"But not in real life" and the simple line that DJ uttered prompted an immediate death glare from Logan as the huge game room burst into laughter as even his dad supervising couldn't help himself.
But day after day the practice continued and they would hang out every week and practice every day while on weekends all 7 of them would train with Logan's dad. This would continue until the 1st game of the season.
