It’s Game Time!

On gameday they would play the Palmetto Hawks a team that has not had a winning 12u (12years old and under league) season in 8 years. Logan's dad picked up DJ, Amari, and Von to take them all the way to Palmetto in his Lamborghini truck.

The kids got out all in similar clothes, sporting black shirts with the huge team logo of the purple-silver warrior on the front-center with purple lightning behind it. On top of the warrior in silver it said Miami and under the warrior in the same silver it said Warriors, On the back of the shirt in the same silver it said:

Protect Your Brother

Don't Quit On Your Family

Be a Warrior

They also had black shorts with silver stripes down the sides and at the bottom of the shorts it had the same warrior. He however had silver socks with purple lightning, that his mom looked very proud of making, and black slides. His football gear was in a black duffle bag that sat in the truck.

When he got dressed out in all his gear he looked amazing from head to toe. His helmet being black, with the warrior being on the right side of his helmet and his #22 ,his new number following in his dads footsteps, on the left with a clear visor to boot on his beautiful Riddel Speed Flex; His jersey was black with the purple warrior in the top left corner of the jersey with Miami in big sliver letters with a purple accent as the entire jersey had a purplish tone to it, on the front and back center was his number in silver however on the back instead of Miami above the number his last name "Jones" was proudly displayed; On his arms he had black turf tape on each and nice purple gloves; His pants were black with the word Warriors on the side of one pant leg and Miami on the other; his socks (the same from before) went halfway up his thigh and he had purple cleats with black spats.

As he ran out he couldn't be more excited, as Logan, Amari, and the biggest lineman walked out for the coin toss he simply glanced at the other team while smiling a bit. They won the coin toss and chose to receive first so he shook the teams hand and was very polite but on the field it might not be the same.

Logan and Amari stood back deep for the kickoff and it went to the left, to Amari, as he caught it after it had bounced a couple times and took off to the right with DJ as his lead blocker. Everybody else had gotten their blocks good now only a small kid about Logan's size was left and another kid who was built like a lineman. Knowing the bigger kid couldn't even hold a candle to Amari Logan obliterated the other kid as he seemed to be extremely weak and Amari took the very opening kickoff of the season back to the house. DJ would then run it in for the conversion (in youth leagues kicking the extra point is worth 2)

1st quarter
7-0

3 plays later as the other team had the ball on 2nd down they must've got cold feet because the running back stopped dead in his tracks when he spotted DJ's hulking figure as DJ laid a bigger hit than he had laid on Logan and the ball came loose as DJ fell on it around the 50 yard line.

Since Amari had already gotten a touchdown the coach gave it to Logan on a toss to the left side with Amari and DJ as blockers but as soon as Amari got his hands on the corner back, DJ blasted ahead and just outran the Safety down the sideline. And again DJ got the conversion with ease

1st quarter
14 - 0

The very next drive on defense the other team tried to sneak a pass because every other play had been a run until then. But, his coach had warned him so many times about it that Logan was ready and he got in the way but couldn't catch it so it shot into the air. When Devonte jumped out of nowhere and caught it as he ran all the way for the pick 6. Like always DJ ran it in.

1st quarter
21-0

Coach was almost ready to put the backups in but he wanted to get ahead by 28 which would start a running clock for the rest of the game.

And after a stop on defense they were set up perfectly with just 43 yards until the end zone the coach decided to pound the rock with DJ. But, the kids from Palmetto must have really felt the hits by DJ because by the 3rd run they were scared to tackle him and he bulldozed 5 people on his way to a 30 yard run. Even after the run he was still able to convert and score.

2nd quarter
28-0

Then all the starters including Logan, Dj, Amari, and Von were pulled out for most of the rest of the game to get the backups time but they got a couple more plays on defense.
And the game would end 41-0 with the Warriors turning 1-0.

But there would definitely be more success that season for them.
