The Devil and the Huntsman is a new medieval dark fantasy series.
Wanna know what I like about this story? The way its presented and the way everything is fleshed out. This is something I might see adapted as a long running webcomic and everything about this is so cool! I’m totally looking forward for more chapters from this author!
One of the greatest stories ever written! This is the kind of stuff I love to read and the kind of stories that I will always recommend! Amazing story and writing, amazing characters, amazing imagery and style, amazing heroes and villains, great lore and backgrounds, and all kinds of readability all put into a massive story. This is like... Castlevania meets Seven Deadly Sins, Vinland Saga, and Berserk. A masterpiece of a story and I highly encourage all fantasy nerds and anime lovers to give this story a try!
What an incredible series that was. I gotta be honest, this is one of the better stories I’ve read on this website. It’s that series that perfectly combines dark fantasy, King Arthur legends, sword-and-sorcery, and horror all at once. I truly hope this author doesn’t give up on this series and I truly wish for more chapters to come out!
It's so rare to find webnovels like this. The lore and worldbuilding are interesting, the characters are complex, the writing is amazing. It doesn't rely on tropes to tell its story; it's just a good, old dark fantasy tale reminiscent of Castlevania and Dark Souls. I can't wait to catch up to it. Congratulations to the author, you've created something amazing!
This story is lit! With a talented author, this novel was in good hands. I gotta say I'm impressed! Accompanied with hard work and perseverance, this will pave well in the future! Good luck author and may your novel be blessed with more readers!
An intriguing, engaging story that reminds me a lot of Dark Souls. This story is pretty much a mixture of The Seven Deadly Sins anime with the tone and atmosphere of the Soulslike games. I never laid this book down and I was interested as soon as I read the Synopsis. It's one of those books that should definitely be read by anyone who is a fan of medieval settings and dark fantasy. I'm definitely looking forward for many chapters to come!
The story perfectly captures the world that the author has envisioned, a dark, macabre world riddled with terrifying creatures that come out during the night. The pace of the story is steady and can be followed easily. It has a great element of world background and makes you feel as if the story isn't centered around the actions of the main character and that the world carries on in the background regardless of what the protagonist is up to. The main character is multi-layered and not at all like the one dimensional protagonists you would find in other stories. I'm looking forward to future updates from this story.
I like the premise and it is very interesting. The pace is very quick, which I like. Nothing is perfect, the tenses do change from past to present. But that's about the only gripe I have.
A poetic style blended with a gothic, macabre tone make this one of the most uniquely written novels on the web. You can tell the author is really putting everything of themselves into each paragraph. A true hidden gem, and that's only based on chapter one. Truly looking forward to what comes next.
Really good. Well-defined atmosphere and world building. Consistent formatting, solid grammar and spelling. A long running series that has gotten consistent updates. It's very well plotted and paced. There are a lot of reasons to pick this one up.
😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍 Here's my support keep writing and giving us these wonderful novels... With great stories which can show many things mix but not mess it one bit but make it even more interesting.. I like the work .. Don't forget to swap reviews with mine ....[img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]
Very attractive cover, very attractive title and synopsis. This is a very solid read. But I really really wish it was a serial or a series of some sort it would be so interesting to watch.
I read the first few chapters , the story pacing was amazing , I liked the concept of medieval era ,demons ,etc the characters were well written , tbh I didn't find any mistakes that I could point out , you may think I'm blind praising but no your novel really is worth the read
It has the poetic writing style, which I personally find similar to the kingkiller series by Patrick. It is Fantasy novel. The best from my personal point of view. Just that he has been delaying it for last 10 years. The author of this book can try to read that book. Although I hate Patrick but it will help you a lot in your writing.
It is close to perfect!!! I really love the synposis and the first few chapters of the story! Your writing style is perfect! It almost brings me to the fantasy world. And most importantly it has a dark fantasy genre!!!! [img=recommend]The only thing that I could recommend to you is the spacing. I noticed the paragraphs are all congested into three or four sentences. It would be better if there are varieties of spaces like two sentences for this line, one sentence for this part, and four sentence for this line, and so on. You can disregard my suggestion or not, it is all up to you, mate! I love your novel whether this happens or not. Kudos for the author~
