Chapter 186 Fighting futely her own fate

The first three times Lucia visited Deva she could see in Deva a faint trace of resistance and in those three times she administered the potent drug while she hit her mental weaknesses, that she was abandoned, betrayed and alone. As Lucia went on she noticed that Deva's futile struggles started to disappear making her feel a twisted elation. The hesitation she had before faded replacing it with eagerness. Lucia's tranformation from when she first met Deva was not natural and extremely scary as to how brainwashing could twist a person so easily.

"Deva? What are the words?" Lucia asked as her lips were close to Deva but at the same time so far. Deva had to only move her head to meet those lips but she did not do that and instead weakly murmured.

"I...love you...please?Give me more..." Deva said that but there was a layer of confusion as she murmured those words. But her thoughts were interrupted and replaced with delight and intoxication as the sweet drug spread inside her body.

"No...more...I love you, just give me more..." Deva desperately pleaded as Lucia distanced herself once again.

"That's no good. You only say those words for me to kiss you, you have to be wholeheartedly sincere." Forget those women even if you refuse to the drug will make you only see me. Lucia thought.

The drug was not something that shouldn't be administered many times in a single day as it might cause high levels of addiction and their minds will only think about the drug or how to obtain more of it and Lucia was the one who could provide Deva what she desperately wanted.

Lucia's mind was already beyond twisted as her only objective is to hear wholeheartedly from Deva those three words even if she had to harm and twist her beloved's mind.

Lucia unshackled Deva and put her on the cold floor but atleast Deva didn't have to strain her legs any more.

"If I see that you have drunk even a single drop from the bottle you can forget to have a taste for three hours." Lucia smiled viciously before leaving Deva alone with the bottle.

"..." Overwhelmed by the fragrance and the oppurtunity have an entire bottle for herself Deva didn't hesitate to take the bottle and gobble up every drop inside the bottle.

"W-what...?" Deva's delighted expression froze as instead of feeling the intoxicating feeling of the drug she felt that the liquid she has drunk only contained only the fragrance of the drug Lucia gave to her, after drinking the liquid inside the bottle Deva was more thirsty than before.

"N-no...I-I was tricked! I-I need more more, please...I'm sorry, please..." Deva collapsed in the floor after seeing that there wasn't a single trace of what she wanted and instead she was left more miserable than before.

For an hour, Deva murmured like a madman pleading for forgiveness but the door never opened and as three hours passed Deva's eyes dimmed considerably. She dragged her body towards the door to call for Lucia but Lucia never responded even though she was just outside the room hearing her wails and screams. She did not have any strength so even when she slammed her hands against the door only a soft 'thum' resounded. Her body trembled even more as her body desperately needed the drug.

In this state time lost its meaning to Deva so despite only two hours passed since Lucia has left the room Deva felt that days passed instead of minutes. In the last hour she gave up completely in attempting to call for Lucia and she just gazed absentmindedly at the void while she murmured.

The sound of the door opening echoed but Deva seemed to not notice and remained in such miserable state without turning her head towards the woman who caused all this. Lucia's smile blossomed as something inside her seemed to darken even more, seeing the state of her beloved did not cause her distress anymore but a sense of sadistic delight filled her.

The time she spent hearing Deva's voice desperately calling her her and pleading her were the most joyous moments of her life. The concept of wanting to break Deva in only making her hear the words 'I love you' became in wanting to thoughtfully mentally break Deva and mold her in something similar to her, twisted and dark.

"You don't want that anymore?" Lucia sinisterly whispered waking up Deva from her stupor and causing her to grovel in her feet since that was the only thing she could do with her strength depleted.

"I-I do! I want it more the anything else! I'll do everything! Anything! Please...I...I beg you to give me a single drop." Deva was completely broken as not only she bowed her head to Lucia totally submitting to her but she also stroked her cheek against Lucia's boots.

Lucia widened her eyes as a strange yet pleasant sensation filled her seeing how Deva was behaving but there was something that was missing and that was the total devotion of Deva.

Droplets fell above Deva and fell in Lucia's boots.

"That's the thing you wanted." Lucia said as her eyes shone with a strange light. Before the droplets made contact with the floor Deva quickly licked and gulped the drug.

Lucia witnessed with her eyes Deva obediently licking her boots like a kitten. By the time Lucia noticed Deva had already licked all the droplets and despite the quantity was lower that before Deva obediently remained silent as her glazed eyes made contact with Lucia before looking down expressing total submission before saying ' I love you' and fainting on the spot.

Lucia after a moment of shock she immediately enveloped Deva's body with her aura before taking Deva with her in her room. There she laid Deva, dressed her and lastly covering the two of them with a blanket.

Lucia's gaze softened but at the same time she was alarmed inside as she sensed that her thoughts were becoming more and more inconsistent. Her love towards Deva was true but it seemed that her emotions were being artificially amplified by someone since she met Deva. Lucia shook her head and wrapped her arms around Deva.

"As long as she's with me, as long as she's alive, then my love will exist until my life is extinguished." Lucia softly said as she too drifted asleep.
