Jicki Minaj

(a/n: šŸ˜… um hiiiii before you read this randomness I inserted....just to let you know šŸ˜¤šŸ˜¤šŸ˜¤ it's a filler, so it will most likely make no sense. Bare with me plz and try not to cringe too much)

Shaneil pulled up a chair beside Rains' desk. She was skipping class again and since Mr. Johnson had a sweet spot for her he let her in his class. But Shaneil knew the routine. If he was going to let her stay here, she was going to work.

Now Shaneil did not agree with that but since Rain was here, she'd do it for her. She tapped Rain on the shoulder with a bright smile and waved. Rain let out a laugh and waved back.

"My one and only love, how I missed you so." Shaneil said dramatically with a hand on her heart.

"But you just saw me in the hallway." Rain teased not wanting to play along.

"But it was such a long hall and we're so far apart." Shaneil whined laying her head on Rain's desk. Rain let out a short laugh and pushed her head off the desk. Shaneil glared at her, scooting her chair closer and taking Rains' pencil.

"I have some news for you." Shaneil announced something serious all of a sudden.

"What is it about?" Rain asked, not really paying attention to her.

"That guy you've been hanging out with. The new kid."

Rain eyes snapped to Shaneil's sudden focus. "Tye, what's wrong with Tye? You told me that you had no problem with him."

"It's not that Rain. I just heard some rumors, that's all."

"You can't just listen to rumors nowadays Shay. Most of the time they turn out to be completely wrong and the person is just left feeling judged." Rain said dismissively.

Shaneil ran a hand, threw her hair and shook her head. "I don't know. Maybe I should meet him first Rainy. These rumors don't sound too good. I don't want you to get caught in anything you can't get out of." Shaneil mumbled uneasy.

"I promise you we're just friends. I don't like him like that. But maybe you should meet him. I think you'll get along. He has a good charisma to him, he's just a little rough around the edges but he's a good guy." Rain assured her smiling.

"If you say so, Sweetie." Shaneil said, still uncertain.

"Just give him a chance, you'll like him." Rain promised. Rain didn't know what rumors were being spread around about Tye and in her head knew they weren't true. She felt like she had a connection with him and he was just a little misunderstood. She just hoped that Shaneil saw what she saw.

"Okay enough about that. Let's talk about Remy Ma at the VMAs. She was too happy to get that award and throw it in Nicki's face. She had it coming. And before you start talking about Nicki, she did well at the billboard awards. I'll give her that but she ain't better than Remy." Shaneil said smirking and in that moment Rain completely forgot all about Tye because no one insults her favorite artist and gets away with it.

"Okay you can leave Nicki alone. She can rap circles around Remy Naw." Rain stated purposely saying her name wrong. A student in the background overheard their discussion and decided to jump in.

"Child please Micki's too full of herself. She is always talking about how she's a rap queen and all. But where's her title now." Shaneil taunted.

"Okay let's be real Cardi B, she's the real queen. Don't even try to diss her with those two birds." A student inserted and hence an entire argument began on the topic of who's better. Mr. Johnson tried to quiet down the class as each student went back and forth throwing in their favorite artist trying to decide who was better.

The more the class talked the more Mr. Johnson's patience was beginning to snap.

"No Taylor Swift is better!" A round of confusion went around the class.

"Who is that?" One person questioned.

"Shut up Kyle, everyone knows Rita Ora is a queen."

"Excuse me, when was her last hit?"

"Yeah I don't know who that is either." Another student chimed in.

Mr. Johnson's jaw clenched tight together as the class just ignored him and talked even louder. He tried counting down in his head but there was too much noise in the class to concentrate. Mr. Johnson picked up a ruler from his desk and slammed it hard on the desk, scaring the class into silence.

"Finally," He mumbled, frustrated. "Class I gave you an assignment that you were supposed to complete 10 minutes ago. Tell me why 10 minutes have passed and not 1 assignment is on my desk?"

Nobody answered him.

"Exactly what I thought. Pop quiz tomorrow," He announced and everyone groaned in annoyance. "Hey, don't put the blame on me, put it on yourselves. I'm not the one talking about the AMA's and Remi versus Jicki or whatever you kids talk about these days."

Shaneil busted out laughing causing the entire class to look at her. "What's so funny Miss Nelson?" Mr. Johnson asked with a raised brow.

"Okay first of all teach, it's VMAs not AMA's, second it's Nicki not Jicki, and us "kids'' are not the only ones who talk about this." Shaneil replied, smirking.

Mr. Johnson fixed his glasses on his face and dramatically put a hand over his chest before fixing his intense gaze on Shaneil. "Oh my bad! I'm so sorry for my assumptions. Let me correct myself. How about 3 pop quizzes? That sounds even better."

The class groaned louder and Rain kicked Shaneil in the leg lightly trying to shut her up.

"Um sure how about 10 seeing as though I don't even take this class." Shaneil suggested smiling brightly.

"Is that so Miss. Nelson. Well then I guess I'll just have to talk to a couple of your teachers and make some arrangements." Mr. Johnson concluded by giving Shaneil a big grin as her face started to turn red with anger.

"You can't do that!" Shaneil exclaimed outraged. Mr. Johnson just ignored Shaneil's temper tantrum and proceeded to continue teaching the class.

Rain who was watching Shaneil started to grow concerned when she snapped her pencil in half. Shaneil was clenching her fists together and her eyes had a look of stone in them. Rain began quietly trying to console Shaneil without bringing attention to herself.

But when Shaneil picked up a book and tried to aim for the teacher's head, Rain was forced to take action.

"Okay, that's it." Rain said, taking the book out of Shaneil's hands. When she saw her about to pick up another one, she packed her stuff up and dragged Shaneil in the hallway.

The kids in the class attempted to be nosy and look in on the situation but Rain just slammed the door shut.

"What the heck Shay! Control your temper!" She yelled at Shaneil frustrated. Shaneil slammed her fist into the locker and Rain jumped a little as the sound bounced around the empty halls.

"It's not my fault this time. He clearly had a problem with me!" Shaneil yelled back at Rain. "You were provoking him. Even I saw that. Don't act like it was all his fault. You were testing him on purpose." Rain said, rolling her eyes at Shaneil's excuses.

"So what if I was? What if I wanted to get into trouble? What if I did do it on purpose?" Shaneil questioned. Rain threw Shaneil's bag on the floor, fed up.

"See, that's your problem! You don't care and to make it worse I'm always the one looking out for you! When are you going to do it yourself? Stop being so selfish!" Rain replied, looking at Shaneil disappointed.

She was done talking to her. She knew that Shaneil wouldn't listen. That's how she was and Rain was sick of it.

She walked back into her class and sat back down in her seat.

"Why am I always the one cleaning up her messes?"
