How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse!

Living together since elementary school, Aron and Martyn were away from home for college. It could not get any boring for the two who appeared stuck in life's clockwork. Martyn was done with Aron's whimsical nature of having things his way until they saw their entire world turn upside down. The streets were now filled with zombies. Their lives of melancholy and monotony turned into those of survival and determination.
Aron, equipped with an Apocalypse Survival Guide they had made beforehand, set out with Martyn on a journey to find out what caused the crisis that humanity faced and ultimately prevent their impending doom. As they come across friends and foes along their way, Martyn begins to wonder whether he really knows his childhood friend.
the writing feels somewhat informal, not in a bad way. I already like the characters that show up in the story. the dialogue exchanges makes it feel like reading an old light novel. im hooked
The story feels pretty chill so far.,, cannot decide whether naming the characters AJ and MRJ were odd or weird.. However, my interest is piqued! The story has a pretty decent development for an almost-cliché trope. And call it a hunch, I think the author might be into anime, I don't know ;) Looking forward to more chapters!

The synopsis pretty much explain everything. The story begins off following two college students that live a somewhat NOT exciting life as they hoped it to be. AJ being the carefree of the two, acts following his own whims. MRJ being the responsible one, see to that his life doesn't get caught up in AJ's whimsical nature. The apocalypse struck out of the blue and suddenly their old lives didn't matter anymore and it was upto them to decide whether to give in or fight against the end of the world. Martyn (named MRJ in the beginning) finds it odd that AJ was prepared for the apocalypse and he begins to wonder whether his roommate is hiding things from him. The story will take on a pretty linear path, in the sense, most of the story was already penned out at the moment of this review writing.
