King of Familiars?

*Sigh* "Of course it went wrong." I say with no surprise as I stare at Venus's idle body. Her body was frozen in place by what seemed to be magical chains grabbing her feet and arms.

I've been staring at her idle body for 10 MINUTES and nothing happened. Like isn't there supposed to be some window or something where I can cancel this spell or something

"Uhhh can I cancel this contract or something," I said with hesitation knowing nothing would happen. Suddenly a notification popped up.

[ Would you like to confirm this contract? ]

"Wow I can't believe that worked what the fuc-."

[ Contract Confirmed ]

"WHAT I DIDN'T EVEN SAY ANYTHING RELATED TO THAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME." I flail my arms in the screaming as I try to grab the notification window in front of me.

[ Would you like to make changes to their stats? ]

"N O," I said very slowly hoping it would understand me.

[ Understood, confirm their stats page please ]

As I looked at Venus's stats page I thought to myself "How are all her stats exactly the same, except of agility of course, is there a way to train a specific stat. I'll have to ask her about this."

"I would like to make changes to the stats," I said as I changed my mind, I wanted to experiment with this feature, is there a limit to how high I can set each stat?

An orange number pad appeared before me, it looked like I could freely click on any stat to change the number. To start I wanted to see what would happen if I changed all the stats to 500.

[ Error: Stats too high ]

"Ah, so there is a cap, or is it because Venus's body couldn't handle that much of a stat change." To be fair if there wasn't a cap I could probably create a monster able to defeat the gods, but who knows.

[ Warning: 30 seconds remaining ]

"Oh great there is a time limit," I said not being surprised. I swiftly changed all her stats to what I thought would be reasonable and I left her elements untouched.

[ Beings stats will now be changed to ]

Suddenly the black chains holding Venus's body idle slowly started retracting as a blue magic seemed to engross her body. After a little bit the blue magic dissipated and it seemed as if something broke around her neck. After being released from the magic her body instantly collapsed on the floor leaving her unconscious. Not knowing what to do I just sat there until she woke up.

Minutes later I saw her feathers quickly fluttering.

"Uhh Venus, you awake?" I said with caution afraid she would be mad at me. She instantly got up, she looked at her hands and feet. She then turned her gaze to me. Purple sparks started to come off her body as she gave me an expressionless glare.

"Haha you know I'm sorry about whatev-"

Instantly she blinked from the other side of the room to right in front of me, though it's odd to notice but she seemed even faster than before. Looks like the stats changed actually worked I thought to myself while being confronted by what seemed to be an enraged Venus.

"Listen Venus I'm really sorry haha," I said in a desperate attempt to calm her down. Suddenly she deactivated her magic and then kneeled on the floor in front of me. Seconds later she threw herself on top of me and hugged me with all her strength.

"Uhhhhhh Venus," I said with utmost confusion, but slightly enjoying the comfort of the hug. I stay seated on the ground as she continues to hug me without saying a word. I took this time to appreciate how pretty and neat her hair was looked like it was brushed by gods and it was a midnight purple, but it felt silkier than silk. It was flowing down her shoulders reaching her waist covering some of her feathers.

"You know I have to go to school or something remember, so uhh can you get off me," I said as I secretly wanted her to keep hugging me. She instantly pushed off of me giving me a good look at her glowing lavender eyes.

"Oh, I am so sorry Master, I overstepped my boundaries," she said while proudly kneeling in front of me.

"Woah woah woah, hold up, wait a minute, something ain't right. Since when did I become your master, and what happened to that sarcastic attitude from before." I said while contemplating what was going on.

"There is no need for such questions, master, but you saved me from my shackles and for that I am forever grateful, from now on I will serve you to the best of my abilities." She said proudly as she still kneeled in front of me.

"Wait what do you mean I released you from your shackles, and isn't the queen your master."

"We will deal with that problem another time master, but for now we must hurry or you will be late." She said as she got up getting ready to pick me up.

"Ugh, I give up," I say with zero enthusiasm as I let Venus pick me. Letting out the same sparks before she got ready to blink. She let out the same short and sharp breath and leaned forward. I grabbed onto her tightly scared about being dropped.

"Don't worry master I would never drop you," she said as she smiled down at me as we were instantly in front of the academy.

I was amazed by how huge the academy was, the campus was huge. The entrance had a giant iron gate guarded by two harpies, when you go through the gates you are greeted with a magnificent fountain with a statue of Queen Siren next to it. There were shooting ranges and parts that seemed to be where people practiced magic. It was amazing, I couldn't help but stare in amazement.

"Master, we must go quick and find out what class you are in." I followed Venus into the campus while still looking around in awe. I saw harpies of all different colours conversing, though as I walked by all their gazes turned to me. I also noticed that there were zero black harpies, this wasn't surprising though it still makes this world look racist to an extent. It wasn't anything I needed to worry about, is what I thought without realizing I haven't received my elements yet.

As we were walking through the campus I noticed familiar faces.

"We meet again Oliver hehe," Pulli said as he looked at me in excitement. Pulli was the last person I wanted to meet because of what I did to him, but he seems to be fine.

"H-hey Pulli, I said with hesitation due to my guilt.

Seconds later Ovis appeared behind the pillar Pulli was leaning on.

"WE MEET AGAIN HUMAN," he said with extreme enthusiasm. I simply ignored him and walked past him, Venus followed me and shot such a terrifying glare at Ovis I got chills up my spine.

"WAIT WAIT HUMAN, I CAME TO APOLOGIZE," he said with desperation as he followed behind me. "After watching your great fight with Pulli, I couldn't help but be admired by your skill."

"Oh thanks?" I said as I questioned his intention.

"'YOU ARE NOW WORTHY TO BE MY RIVAL."

"Yeah okay," I said with sarcasm as I walked away once again.

"NO COME BACK." Again Ovis said with desperation.

I ignored him and continued to follow Venus to meet the head of the academy. I thought this academy couldn't impress me more, but when I saw the office of the head of academy I almost cried. The giant golden double doors were guarded by two huge harpies. There was water flowing down each side of the doors leading into a small river covered by glass. The door opened by itself (of course it did) and the head of the academy stared at me from across the room.

"Welcome to Siren's Academy of Wind."
