Synopsis

As a perceptive and scholastically advanced 16 year old, Oliver finds new ways to challenge himself, setting him up for a bright future as a game tester in a revolutionary age for gaming... It is the year 2052 and VRMMO RPGs are the most rapidly growing in popularity genres of video games.

Oliver has mastered every single VRMMO, but his dedication did not extend to his physical side, leading to letting himself go... pretty badly.

One day while Oliver was giving a presentation on the new technology for the VR, a warning sign appears on the board, that same warning sign is broadcasted on every single electronic planet on earth, a magic circle surrounds Oliver, with what seemed to be other worldly random. But somehow read out to be something that would change Oliver’s life forever.

Oliver finds himself in the "new" world of Celestia, but while he does he will be live-streamed to the entire population of Earth. To make it even more exciting for them, there will be a Gambling system in place, helping, or tormenting him along his way back to Earth.

The catch? That would be what was written around the ring:

"Welcome Home, Oliver"

This is an attractive, suspenseful and intense story about a 17 year old boy named Oliver who is suddenly transported to a world portrayed as 'home'; he goes through journeys and adventures challenging his strength and he has encounters with many different characters. Personally, I strongly recommend this read. The author easily juxtaposes characters and encapsulates the relationships between Oliver and the other characters. I really loved the suspense created throughout the story, as well as the fight scenes creating an exciting read. Some things to watch out for are some small grammatical errors however these aren't a major issue. Another thing for the author is to maybe go more into depth with setting description to make it easier for the readers to create a picture of the unique world Oliver was transported to. Other than this, this is an amazing read, and I guarantee an exciting and suspenseful mood and atmosphere! Well done author!

Good start to what seems to be a promising read! I'm curious to find out more and I know that anyone reading this will want to too. It is something that encaptivates you and makes you ask "what's next?" as you'll flip through the chapters. Of course we can't tell now since there's only one chapter, but if the next chapters are anything like the first, you will not regret picking up this story. A minor thing I would like to see is some additional attention the smaller details about the people and the world around them in the future, but regardless, I am looking forward to how the rest of the suspenseful and intriguing story pans out!

I really enjoyed reading so far, I enjoy the protagonist because he Is unique. When i was reading i thought oh this is very cliche and a few lines later the Oliver, the protagonist points it out. Not just the cliche aspects but everything as well, it’s over analysed and overthought by him which i can relate to. the story line keeps me on my toes.

Celestial Streamer is a story where the main character is transported into a video game, while not an entirely new concept, the execution is rather original. The story so far seems to be willing do dive into the deeper side of things, which I heavily enjoy in story-telling. World building is great so far to help the reader picture the world in their own imagination. Although, I think putting a bit more detail in each character's design would benefit the story greatly. The dialogue feels a bit forced, however that could just be me being nit-picky. The plot is great so-far, it's got me hooked already. Would recommend to anyone that wishes they could live in an action game, cause a lot of gamers do nowadays.

It’s only the end of the first chapter, and I’m already hooked! After reading this chapter, it’s clear to see that the story is developing in an exciting way, with hidden cues and foreshadowing riddled around his paragraphs which will only come into play and make sense later in the novel. This is the type of story you should thoroughly read to not miss a single word. I’m dying to know what happens in chapter two, and for all future releases. I’ll be keeping a close eye on Celestial Streamer!

Personally I really like the start, it has a good beginning introducing this world as a type of technologically advanced world with VR games evolving and all that, and how they are making the combat more realistic for the mc and beta testing, it sparks interest in the main character. The overall quality of the writing is good, only issue I have is how some of the stuff is excessive like the laughter and Eli asking as many questions without a moment to think. For a first chapter, the story starts off pretty strong, introducing this online game world and suddenly starting a transition to another world, the type of Isekai format that we know and love. The characters so far have nothing special to them as of the current moment, the descriptions give a good understand of Oliver and Sophia,, but there was no emphasis on Eli's character and he seemed to be just pushed in there like we were expected to know who he was from the start. Honestly I'm excited to continue reading this if more chapters are released, I like the format of the story and the setting, hopefully more is learned about the characters as the time goes by, but that is for time to determine it's course. I am curious to what happened to Oli at the end of the first chapter.

First off it’s clear to see that the plot is unique. The story so far has an excellent combination of humour, action and romance. Can not wait to see future updates on the development of the story. Must read!

I'm not usually a fan of the VRMMO stories that pop up trying to be the next SAO, but this story has a legitimately good start. Probably the best part about this story is the proper use of grammar. Here's five stars to the story becoming a big hit!

I think this is a phenomenal story and an original spice that flares up a niche genre. The Korean streaming genre meets the Japanese Isekai and it melds wonderfully. The story is original and captivating, and the writing quality is great, and you can tell the world is thought out. I do have to say the story advances at an extremely fast pace for my tastes, but if you like a fast pace, Celestial Streamer is the book for you.

After reading this book for a while, I figured an updated review was due. The author takes what you know about the Isekai fantasy genre and gives it a refreshing new spin in this book. The way we are introduced to the story and the characters at the beginning, with more details being gradually yet well distributed across the chapters makes for an interesting read. As if trying to take the reader out of their world and into an isekai experience themselves, the quality of the writing makes them feel as though they are alongside Oliver and his crew on this wild adventure. The writing makes you feel the pain, the emotional heaviness, and the despair Oliver goes through, but also the happiness, joy, and general friendliness he has and displays., bringing him and others to life. I've started reading this because I was recommended it, despite my friend knowing fully well I don't read web novels, yet, this book still has me coming back to read more. If you ask me, once you start reading, you can't just stop, as it will always drag you back to read some more. The suspense, tension, and attention to detail is something different from other books, and will definitely keep you hooked. While the book is, personally speaking, an amazing story, I have to admit that the stability of updates can be great, but not exactly amazing. The author is clearly constantly working hard on their book, but it is not always one chapter a day, however, it is always compensated with two chapters being released when they don't publish one the day before. It doesn't particularly matter, but it's still worth mentioning. Don't let that discourage you though, as it is barely even a minor thing, and it really does not matter. The quality, the story, characters, and setting are all flawless. Anyway, in the end, I know that if you start reading this, you will not be able to stop and I would greatly recommend this. Please do yourself a favour and read this book!

This is a great book with a unique plot. If you like VRMMO RPGs, with exciting adventure, comedy and mystery, you will love this. I especially like the idea of the general public getting involved in the MC's gaming experience (the added gambling and donating option). Very cool! Great job author![img=recommend]
