Recently there has been this trend of webnovel getting novels with OP systems. You can even read the different synopsis and see how similar they are. Typical lines- 1. While others were doing ______ , MC was doing _____ 2. When (insert event) happened, everyone realized that the MC was OP The systems are so OP that their is no suspense left. All that is left is bad comedy. This WN seems to fall in the same category but seemed to be better than it's counterparts in Pilot Read, so here I am ranting about why I hate most of the recent Trial and Pilot novels...
The novel has potential, but there are some issues with it that almost ruin an above average story. -Overly complicated cultivation: There is soul cultivation, techniques that work in 1 world but not others, cultivation level besides the soul, law cultivation and even some techniques that seem to work on both worlds. When the MC levels up, multiple times I'm not even sure of what exactly did and how does it affect his strength. - Super fast OP. We hear that it's difficult to even cultivate 1 law, but MC learned 3 on his first trip. - Inconsistencies: MC goes back on his word at least twice within the first 20 chapters (slave+sects). White clothes guy is supposed to get 9 ranks with a pill, but the world's limit is 3. MC is excited about buying something, but it's never mentioned, MC levels up "off screen" and his level is just suddenly announced. I honestly think it has potential, but it reads like someone's draft.

This is actually quite well executed. Sort of a worse but still decent version of Fantasy Simulator but it falls down to borderline unreadable when the power stages are both very confusing and incredibly inconsistent. He'll be at a stage one chapters, then two stages lower the next, then use treasures to get back to the stage he was 3 chapters ago.

Honestly it's a good read but the cultivation levels are needlessly complicated and inconsistent. It's trying to be like Fantasy Simulator but it's not working well right now maybe later on the Author can better explain the world and how it works

I don't know but I like this story it has potential but the most complicated thing is the power level of cultivation yes it very confusing which is the main power that needed a soul power or a chi. That brings complicating things to the story. ( for me)
