Hidden Fantasy-A Werewolf's Obsession

Chapter 14-Alessia & Aiden

I didn't even know what to do for a few moments, but eventually, I stepped up from on top of the person who was groaning on the ground. I awkwardly lifted the person on the floor as I brushed their hair away from their face, revealing that it was a male. He had magnificent dark brown hair with chestnut streaks. With his smooth light skin, and his lapis eyes which shone softly resembled an angel shining in the moonlight instantly igniting a yearning inside of me.

"Ow," he murmured as he wiped his hair away from his face, pausing just as his gaze rested on my uneasy expression. We locked gazes for a brief second just as I passed out and slid onto his shoulder. I must have looked so stupid with my droopy face and hair all over the place. When I awoke, I was in a bed in an unfamiliar location. Small candles, flickering ever so gently, have been placed all over the room. An enormous, exquisite vaulted ceiling finished with rustic was in the centre, gently swaying. The room was quite spacious, which led me to believe that this property was a fortress. I sighed and sat up straight, rubbing my temples.

"How did I end up here?" I asked myself, trying to recall what had happened previously, and then it occurred to me. I was sure I was in the home of the boy I passed out on. I hastily stood up, put on my shoes, and attempted to walk away, but the same boy entered just as I did. I just stood there, speechless, starring into his hypnotic gaze.

"You're supposed to be sleeping," the boy stated, holding a bowl of water with a troubled expression on his face.

"Yeah, I was simply looking for the bathroom," I lied, my voice trembling. As the boy stood behind me, I slowly walked back to the bed. He tucked me in and dipped a towel in water before draping it over my head.

As he examined to see if I was stable, he stated, "You have a major wound on your forehead and a couple fractured ribs."

"How long have I been out for?" I inquired, As I grimaced in pain and touched my ribs. He took my hand in his and placed it by my chest, concerned.

As he prepared to go back out the door, he remarked, "1 day."

"HEY! I didn't even get a chance to thank you for practically saving my life!" I screamed, my face flushed with pain.

"Once you're okay, say it," he whispered regretfully as he went out the door. I looked for my phone as he walked away and found it on a nearby countertop. I slowly picked it up and scrolled through my texts.

"Oh my God..." As I browsed through hundreds of messages from Dad, Noah, and others, I thought to myself,

Before phoning Dad, I quickly texted back as many messages as I could. Noah texted me, worried as hell, which made my heart melt. I informed him that I would be gone for a few days and would return soon.

I moved to Dad after receiving a large number of responses. I contacted him and informed him that I had taken a little break to improve my battle abilities in preparation for the Academy. After that, I just lay in bed, unable to move, trying to figure out what I was going to do next. I stood up after a few hours of resting to see that my body could at least stand up, which was a promising indication. I cautiously exited the room and attempted to locate the boy. Slowly, I moved down some oak stairs to what appeared to be the front room, which was occupied by two people. A young girl my age and a man in his mid-twenties. The girl had lovely dark chestnut hair that she curled everywhere and dyed dark crimson at the tips. Her brown eyes examined me, yet she was beautiful. She was dressed elegantly in a black gown with a silk blanket around her shoulders. The boy had jet black hair that appeared to have been trimmed lately, as well as captivating honey eyes and a modest tan. He was dressed casually in denim trousers and a black t-shirt.

"Excuse me?" I questioned. They both abruptly turned around, astonished expressions on their faces.

"How are you managing to walk at the moment?" With her caramel eyes studying me from head to toe, the girl questioned.

"Was I that bad?" I wondered.

"When Aiden brought you here, there were several wounds all over you, and I'm pretty sure your blood was dripping on our rug," the boy explained whilst pointing to a scarlet rug at the entryway which appeared to be quite ancient.

"Do you have any idea where he is?" As I winced in pain, I inquired. They both rushed me over to their grey luxury couch and handed me a drink of water.

"Thank you," I murmured as I drank the entire glass of water as quickly as I could to chill my stomach.

"Aiden isn't here right now, but he'll be back later," the girl explained as she resumed reading her book. I sat there awkwardly tapping my knees in solitude. I looked around the room and noticed that the house was more like a castle, with old paintings strewn about and even on the ceiling. Chandeliers from the 19th century were hung throughout the chamber, giving it a golden glow. When I looked out the window, the house was mostly built of crystal and timber, and my jaw collapsed. There was a breathtaking forest in front of me that I had never seen before, with gigantic pine trees filling the woods and creatures tweeting and howling all around. The greatest part was the enormous waterfall right next to us, which was continuously spewing pure water to make a wonderful sound. It must have been great to live here, but this was not my home. After an hour of quiet, I finally broke the silence that was driving me insane.

"Are they crystal chandeliers from the nineteenth century?" I inquired, pointing to one near the entrances. Both of them suddenly smiled and chuckled with delight.

"Not many people are aware of this!" "I'm surprised you already knew that!" The boy noted as he introduced himself as Chris. We then started talking about the house, and I discovered it was quite historic. Chris and the girl named Olivia told me that the house had been passed down through generations, which I found interesting and cool. We then started laughing at some jokes, and I realised they were very pleasant individuals.

"You're only the second person Aiden has brought home, and I already like you," Olivia exclaimed, laughing so hard that she held her chest.

"The second person?" I questioned. The statement astounded me completely.

"Yeah. Aiden has brought someone home before a girl called Stella but she died, but I could see he cared for you when he brought you home today," Olivia said as she sipped some water.

"Oh," I murmured, already feeling bad about how I had attempted to flee earlier.

"So, what exactly are you guys?" I inquired, my face puzzled. Almost immediately, the two burst into laughter.

They laughed and asked, "What do you think we are?"

"Supernatural beings?" I stated.

"Yes, but we're werewolves," they explained as they began to relax. Oh, my gosh.

"What pack are you guys from?" I enquired, my curiosity piqued.

"You've never seen us since we hide within this house, which is shielded by magic, but we constantly keep an eye out for Vampires and Hunters, but you may recognise us as Pack 6-Dire Orchid," Chris stated as he reopened his book and resumed reading with vigour.

"Excuse me, but I have one more question. Who is Aiden?" I murmured cautiously.

Olivia replied, "He's our Alpha," as she proceeded to read herself without saying anything further. This was, of course, my life. I had to run into the person I was supposed to kill and spend the night in his house and of course his bedroom! The entrance to the house opened as I groaned in pain from my head trying to comprehend too much information. Aiden, along with a large group of others, entered the building. All I could do was stand there paralysed as he gazed at me in disbelief.

Aiden

I sat on the crest of the mountains, trying to make sense of what I had just done. The sky was a lovely blue-grey brindle with white accents beaming gently.

I had given up hope of ever falling in love again after Stella's death, but there she was in front of me. Her grey ombre hair swayed in the cool breeze, her stunning blue and green eyes looking at me. Yet, just as I was going to walk away from her, she collapsed. I took a deep breath and started driving her home, knowing precisely what was about to happen. The bitter breeze began to hit me from all sides at once, making me feel bewildered. I didn't have any other option.

I had to get to know her and understand her. Unfortunately, one of our werewolves arranged a party at the mansion, and when I was carrying her home, I realised about the party, putting me in a difficult situation, but I couldn't leave her untreated. Slowly, the cold light shifted over my face, giving me a subtle glow. I had to return shortly having to stare at her, but I had a brief respite now. I inhaled deeply, allowing a large amount of fresh wind to enter my lungs. A vast long river ran continuously beneath me, almost like a map. With stunning blue colours and undersea animals resting. After a half-hour, I started walking back to my house, hoping that meeting her had been a Fantasy...
