Hidden Fantasy-A Werewolf's Obsession

Chapter 18-Alessia & Olivia

As we stepped down the stairs and onto the porch, I was confronted by a crowd of werewolves staring at me from head to toe. Aiden suddenly walked in front of them, holding my hand.

"Werewolves, we're going to have to put in a huge amount of effort if we want to keep our pack from being annihilated, and today someone prevented our pack from being broken," Aiden stated, pointing to me. I slowly took his hand in mine and inhaled deeply.

Aiden continued, "Alessia Aldine, a descendant of Hunters today, saved both mine and our lives."

"How can we be sure she won't be a danger to us?" One of the people in the crowd inquired.

"Because Alessia was born to assassinate me, but instead of killing me today, she saved me," Aiden said, smiling. After a few more questions, everyone started to relax. As the celebration came to an end, everyone began to go away, with Aiden saying his goodbyes. I sat on a seat, thinking about all that had transpired. Aiden approached me after the majority of the folks had left to go party somewhere else for the night.

"What are you going to do now that it's so late?" Aiden had wondered.

"Do you mind if I spend the night here?" I questioned.

"Sure" Aiden smiled and said, As we both began to make our way upstairs to bed. We walked into his room awkwardly, and I changed into a large t-shirt Aiden had lent me. I stepped out after finishing getting dressed to find Aiden had already put his clothing away.

I asked, holding the dress in my hand, "Where should I place it?"

Aiden smiled and added, "Keep it as a gift from me." I grasped the necklace Aiden had given me surprisingly.

"How about this?" I inquired, pointing to the necklace.

"That's a present, just like the bracelet you gave me," Aiden said, holding up his wrist, which was still adorned with the bracelet. I took a slow step towards my bag and stuffed the dress inside. When I was trying to put the dress in, I took a few items out, and the painting fell to the floor. Fortunately, it did not break, but the painting stunned me when I first saw it. I had painted it a week prior, but for some reason, it looked like Aiden and me by the river during the party.

"What's that?" Aiden had questioned.

"A painting," I said as I hurriedly stowed it away. When I returned to Aiden, I noticed that he was reading a book from his nightstand in his bed. I approached him awkwardly.

I wondered, "Um...Where am I going to sleep?"

Aiden motioned to the side of the bed and said, "Here." My discomfort surfaced all of a sudden.

"Oh," I murmured, my face flushed. Slowly, I snuggled myself into the bed, maintaining a safe gap between us. I tried everything to go to sleep once the lights went out, but nothing worked. I couldn't stop thinking about what the Vampire had said earlier. After an hour, I finally fell asleep, and of course, I had a dream.

I was on a battleground, while there were explosives all around me. People screamed in agony as they sank to the ground. I started walking, but all I saw was blood when I looked down. I immediately recognised this as a battle between...The Supernatural Creatures. Roars and howls filled the air, casting a mist of misery and sorrow over the area. My eyesight was engulfed by shards of light. A shot was fired from above, knocking me to the ground and scraping my head. My vision was robbed by blood. My deep wound bled profusely. It was forming puddles on the ground. Even if I had screamed and shrieked, no one would have been able to hear me. The conflict continued despite the steady collapse of bodies on the ground. This was a massacre…A Slaughtering…

Knowing I was about to die made me tremble. I clutched my wound in the hopes of finding my saviour. I was pulled back to reality as soon as I closed my eyes. My entire body is drenched with sweat. I reached out to touch the spot where my nightmare wound occurred, but all I found were bandages on my ribs. As I drifted back to sleep, I continued thinking about how I would leave Aiden the next day and might not return. As soon as the sun dawned, I began packing my luggage and changing my clothing. Olivia had thankfully washed my clothes the night before and provided me with something to wear. I put on a modest dress she had given me and gave Aiden a small letter informing him of my departure. I slowly walked out of the room and down the stairs, but Olivia appeared just as I opened the door.

"Leaving?" With a pained expression on her face, she inquired.

"Yeah," I answered, my voice sorrowful.

"Won't we see each other again?" She inquired, her voice hopeful.

I hugged her farewell and murmured, "I hope."

She questioned, "How about Aiden?"

"Eventually, he'll forget about me," I murmured, hoping it was true. Olivia approached me with a bag of items as we were leaving.

As she handed me the bag, she added, "These are all the items you need to study magic." I was taken aback right away.

"How do you know I'm a witch?" With a surprised expression on my face, I inquired.

"You have the characteristics of a witch." "You can't tell anyone about this, Alessia," she warned.

"Why?" I inquired, intrigued.

"You're the only thing standing between the Vampires and the Werewolves annihilating everyone. Olivia stated with a mournful face, "If anyone finds out about this, they'll kill you."

"Thank you, Olivia," I responded as I was ready to walk away when she handed me something else. She placed a bag of what appeared to be crystal spheres in my hand.

"These are portal crystals. They let you travel to any location simply by imagining it. "Read the book in the bag on how to make them when you need more," Olivia said. While thinking about my neighbourhood, I slowly took one from the bag and tossed it on the ground. A portal appeared as soon as it smashed on the ground.

With a tear in my eye, I added, "Tell him I said Goodbye."

As I waved goodbye and entered the gateway home, Olivia mumbled something but I didn't understand.

Olivia

I was obsessed with him. I knew it. It was no longer a feeling I could separate myself from. I had found a person that encompassed everything I could ever put down on paper and give to God to create for me. Anyone would be obsessed. At least I could admit it. The instant I saw her wretched face in Aiden's arms and the way she looked at him, I loathed her. He was my Aiden. He took years to get over Stella, the dirty beta, but I made sure he didn't love her. All I did was murder her in the most gruesome manner imaginable. Aiden was the master of my fantasies and desires. Those dreams are the cocktails of my brain, both shaken and stirred. When I see him, I feel fulfilled, but I need him for myself. Nobody is going to be able to stop me. I pulled away from my fantasies to discover Aiden staring at me with anguish.

"Hey, where's Alessia?" With a pained expression on his face, he inquired. He didn't need her because he already had me but he didn't know that.

"She left with all her belongings a while ago," I said with a wicked grin.

"Did she mention when she'll return?" With those sorrowful lapis eyes that could only be filled with my love for him, he murmured in a hopeful tone.

"I don't think she'll return, Aiden." Alessia would have said goodbye if she liked you, but she didn't, did she?" I wondered whether he would forget about her.

"No, I believe there is another explanation, but I'll find out later," Aiden remarked, his gaze adrift in the surroundings.

"I'm sorry," I muttered in a mournful tone as I began approaching him, but he pulled me back just as I was about to put my arms around him.

He began walking back inside with his hand on his head, saying, "It's alright." With a shy smile, I began approaching him.

With a couple of chuckles, I said to myself, "We have eternity to discover a love for one another." With that, I locked the mansion door behind me, preventing anyone from discovering my lover. Obsession and passion are vital for the kind of love that is eternally sweet…
