Chapter 24-Alessia & Olivia
Vampires chased me in my nightmares, and I was reliving my recent experience. The previous boy was hunting me through a labyrinth, and he appeared wherever I went. As I kept searching for a way out, but all I could hear was his laughing on replay in my ears. He suddenly appeared in front of me as I approached the exit. His fangs were dripping with blood and his eyes were flashing Prussian blue. Suddenly he lunged towards me, jet black tendrils formed beneath his eyes. I awoke breathing heavily and soaked in sweat as soon as he bit me.
My surroundings, which were identical to the werewolf mansion, drew my attention right away. Aiden was asleep on a chair as I cautiously turned my head. My mind began to recollect the events of the accident all of a sudden. I must have remembered the house just as I plummeted when I smashed the crystal. I examined my wound and saw that it had healed completely without leaving a scar. Aiden awoke and moved towards me just as I was going to stand up.
"You're supposed to be resting," he murmured, beaming as he tucked me into bed and sat alongside me. When I looked at his wrist and saw that my bracelet was still there, a smile sprang on my face.
"You still wear that," I observed, my voice mournful.
"Of course I do, but why do you sound upset about that?" He inquired, his expression contorted as if I had just slapped him.
"I figured you'd forgotten about me by now," I responded, knowing well that I was only ignoring my feelings. Aiden crouched down in front of me and cupped my cheek.
Suddenly, fireworks began to erupt within me, and I felt as if everything was about to come crumbling down around me.
"How could I have forgotten about you?" Aiden said. " Why are you wearing the necklace I gave you, by the way?" He enquired.
I suddenly touched my chest and noticed that the necklace was still there, undisturbed.
"Because…" I took a breath and realised I must have looked like a tomato. Aiden then came forth and without hesitation, he gave me a passionate kiss causing me to feel overwhelmed with desire. Instantly, I felt like a million explosions were going off inside of me every second. I could no longer resist my feelings. We just rested there in tranquillity for the remainder of the day. As night fell, Olivia entered the room, startled to see Aiden asleep on my shoulder.
"I've never seen him like this before," she said quietly as she sat near me touching Aiden's hair with a smile.
"What do you mean?" I wondered gently, attempting not to wake him.
"Aiden wouldn't sleep like this for anyone even Stella, but things have changed for him since you arrived," she added as she took my hand in hers.
"He didn't forget me did he?" I already knew the answer to my inquiry.
"No. Aiden couldn't stop thinking about you after you left. The pack hasn't been the same since you left, yet Aiden was both delighted and worried when you arrived yesterday. Olivia replied, "He never left your side." My stomach churned as I realised Aiden still felt the same way about me as I did about him.
"It appears you can't forget him either," she said, pointing to my necklace.
"I can't forget him. "Thank you so much, Olivia. "The crystal balls were the only reason I was able to escape the Vampire attack," I revealed as I grasped her hand. "It's no issue." I'm going to leave you two alone now.
She added as she walked out the door, "I'll come back when you guys are ready."
"I'm going to sleep on the bed," Aiden murmured as he arose and proceeded towards the opposite side of the bed. He snuggled himself in and fell asleep without saying anything.
I was quite aware that this was only to lay beside me. All I could do was chuckle and rest since I didn't have any nightmares this time. Even though the bed had enough space for both of us, I was surprised to feel Aiden's arm draped over me when I arose. Aiden tugged me closer with a little smirk as I attempted to move.
"What are you doing?" "I said timidly."
"Getting some sleep," he said quietly enough that I felt embarrassed. I stood up as soon as I yanked his arm away from me.
I said, "I'm going to freshen up," as I walked nervously to the bathroom and shut the door. My chest was filled with a mixture of sensations I'd never felt before. I wrapped a towel over my body and asked Aiden for some clothing after a brief shower. He handed me a pair of clothes Olivia had chosen for me while shutting his eyes. I put them on hesitantly, feeling different. She had given me a black top, which I paired with high-waist cream trousers and my preferred black boots.
I hurriedly braided my hair and went out feeling refreshed. When I approached Aiden, all he could do was gasp.
"Do you know where my bag is?" With a puzzled expression on my face, I inquired.
Aiden remarked, "In the closet," as he stood up and drank a glass of water. I headed straight to the closet and took out my bag, which contained the book I had rented from the library.
"You need to hold a meeting with the werewolves," I told Aiden as he approached me with a confused expression on his face.
"Why?" He questioned.
"Because I have a solution to end the battle between the Vampires and the Werewolves," I boasted, clutching the book in my hands like a maniac.
Olivia
As I went out of Aiden's room, a burst of rage erupted within me. How dare she sleep with him? I entered my room slowly and slammed the door shut behind me.
"HE'S MINE!" I screamed as I slammed a table upside down, shattering the contents all over the ground. My lips were pushed open by a scream from deep within as if my petrified soul had unleashed a demon. All I felt was venom, and all I wanted was Alessia dead right now.
I assumed Aiden would have forgotten about her once she left and turn his attention to me, but all I saw in his eyes was love for Alessia. I require him for myself, but something is hindering me from obtaining him, which I must eradicate. Even yet, once the sound is heard, my fists are clenched and my jaws are clamped nothing happens. I took a cautious step towards the wrecked table and picked up a shard of sharp glass. I stared for a few seconds before piercing my arm and marking Aiden's name on my skin making us bound in both blood and death.
I grinned as I began to stroke the torn flesh, pleased with what I'd accomplished. The wound closed up within a few seconds, leaving only a few drops of blood. I needed to make sure Alessia was gone, but I was no longer going to be merciful to that disgusting beast. I knew what I had to do, and there was no way I was turning back. Aiden's affection was something I desired, and I wanted it immediately. Slowly, I began to go towards my mirror, slicing a large smile over my lips and laughing wildly as I swiped my palm across my face, causing me to appear bloody.
"It'll always be us Aiden," I remarked to a little portrait of him by the mirror, softly stroking it.
"I'm simply going to murder you Alessia," I exclaimed as I threw the shard of glass in the middle of an image of her on my door, my blood dripping all over her face and forming a pool.
