Hidden Fantasy-A Werewolf's Obsession

Chapter 31-Alessia

I couldn't bear it any longer as I strolled back to my seat with Logan. I quickly gathered all of my books and began shoving them into my bag without even thinking.

"Hey, where are you going?" Noah inquired, his face flushed with surprise as he stood up straight.

"I have to go to the enchantments." "Maybe you'd like to join me?" I inquired as I hurriedly packed the remainder of my items and made my way to the library's door. Aiden looked stunned as I began to cautiously depart his fists clenched underneath his jumper. I glanced over to see Logan smiling as he approached me and instantly I smiled.

We gradually made our way out of the library and towards enchantments. I trembled when I glanced back to find Aiden twisting something on his wrist. I had given him a bracelet, and he was still wearing it.

"Are you all right?" Logan questioned as he approached me, a disturbed expression on his face as he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, let's get moving," I replied, walking as far as I could away from Aiden and all that drama. We started making potions for amusement as soon as we got there, which was perfect. Logan was ecstatic when I informed him he could go first. I took a cautious step towards a tiny closet at the lab's far end.

I sat on the floor and performed something I'd never attempted before. I put my body inside my thoughts and it started working right away. Pain exploded throughout my body as I felt my entire body being wrenched apart from itself, and blackness descended over me. I gasped when I first opened my eyes. Everywhere around me was consumed in smoke, and the darkness seemed to last forever. When I looked up, all I saw was nothingness. I kindled a spark with my hands and began investigating my thoughts right away. I arrived at a crimson red door in front of me after what seemed like hours of wandering. I stepped inside without a second thought and screamed.

Fires roared all around me and I was back on the island that had that mystical cave. Suddenly, I found myself walking towards the cave that I could see The mouth of the cave became a welcoming blue eye. I was surrounded by dark scarlet clouds when the rain started pouring all around me, but when I looked down at my clothes, I realized it was blood. I dashed towards the cave, where that colossal statue of that woman rested. I jumped when I noticed something gleaming on her crown just as I was about to touch it. An exquisite crown was on her head, holding pieces of the Bloodstone I was researching. With a deep intake, I sent a massive burst of energy towards the entryway, which miraculously did not break. Then came the unfortunate thing. When the statue began to move, it struck me across the head with such force that I flew through the heavens, just as I thought I was about to die and closed my eyes to find peace.

I awoke in a comfortable, plush mattress that I immediately recognised. I rose up and looked around the room, and a wave of grief washed over me. It was Aiden's room, but as I frowned at the floor, I jumped. The floor was covered with blood oozing, somewhat like carnage. I began following the stream, which eventually led me to the front of the mansion. I unlocked the entrance door with my entire body shuddering, where a blood-stained hand was trickling from the glass. I almost squealed as I looked outside. Blood was trickling from the jaws of werewolves as they circled a victim.

The blood was flowing from the entire floor, and it was penetrating the nearby river. The wolves suddenly began howling and rushed away from the body, allowing me to get a closer view of it. When I saw the body, I let out a piercing shriek which roared and echoed the nearby mountains. I was lying on the ground, my body torn to shreds. My eyes were filled with horror and melancholy.

"No," I said quietly to myself as I started walking backwards, denying the reality in front of me. All of the wolves suddenly formed a ring around me, and one stood out among them. A black wolf stood in front of me, his crystal white teeth dripping with blood.

"Aiden," I murmured as he shoved me into the blood-streaked water, which engulfed me in the gloom. I closed my eyes, expecting the nightmare to end, but I screamed as I opened them again. I felt like I was at a nightclub, with music blasting from every direction and spotlights illuminating the whole space with decorations filling the clear marble ground.

I searched the entire area but found no one when suddenly I began to head towards a neighbouring shriek. I found myself in front of a golden door with a silky black handle all of a sudden. As I grasped the handle, more cries erupted from within, and my heart began to accelerate. I opened the door with adrenaline coursing through my veins and almost puked in my mouth from the horror. Bodies were strewn everywhere, their throats ripped out like animals.

I started heading towards a black desktop at the far end of the room, which had a corpse on it. I prepared myself, expecting it to be mine, but I was startled to see that it wasn't.

"Hello," whispered a voice from behind me, which sounded like...

I turned around to face myself in front of me, but I resembled a vampire. With Amethyst eyes that glisten. She was dressed in a stunning golden silk dress with heavy black jewellery around her neck and sparkly black heels that appeared to be stained with blood.

"Are you me?" In a trembling voice, I inquired.

She exclaimed, "I'm better. "I'm reborn," as veins formed beneath her eyes and white fangs emerged. She rushed towards me with a famished look on her face before I could even utter a word. I just stood there as my own life was drained from me, but just as I was about to give in, I stabbed her with a nearby piece of wood, and she exploded in millions of pieces, her blood all over me. I thought things couldn't get much worse until I heard a growl from behind me. I turned around to see a gorgeous black wolf with my eyes, and I realised it was me immediately.

"Oh god," was the last thing I murmured before she toppled towards me and started tearing me to parts as I shut my eyes and came back to sanity.
