Departing the city

After returning to the cultivators' side of the city, Wang Yu continued walking on the streets admiring the beautiful architecture.

There were many majestic buildings inside the city, such as a sub-sect of the Ice Hell sect which was called Rainbow Refinement Sect, and as the name suggests they were responsible for refining treasures, especially weapons.

Creating this sect wasn't on a whim, first, it was to weaken the influence of the Tang Clan inside the city, second was for recruitment reasons.

As for the largest building, it was without doubt the Tang Clan's headquarters. A clan whose power could rival that of a mid-grade sect, no one dared to offend such a behemoth.

The third biggest building was without a doubt the GoldFish Merchant company, which was the largest merchant company in all the Qihou land. It has a branch in every big city and is known for trading rare treasures, exotic beasts, and various resources.

As he passed by the GoldFish Merchant Company, he saw a group of well-armed guards standing in front of the gates. Wang Yu wanted to enter but he didn't have enough money.

While walking, Wang Yu met a charming young girl, slightly older than him. She had short yellow hair, a beautiful round face, and a youthful body. She was walking with her fellow brothers and sisters from the Rainbow Refinement Sect.

Wang Yu couldn't stop looking at her for a while which didn't go unnoticed by the girl and her group.

"Why are you staring at my sister." Said a man who looked very similar to the girl.

Normally Wang Yu wouldn't be this attracted but since his breakthrough in the Everlasting Turtle Technique, he has become very attracted to the opposite sex due to the increase in the Yang Energy in his body.

Wang Yu stopped looking and continued walking without giving much attention to the man who was shouting behind him.

"Brother please stop, it's nothing much," said the girl to her brother.

As for Wang Yu, he kept walking toward the gate. He was planning to leave the city after he finished all the preparations.

'This can't continue like this, I have to find a solution for this problem.'

The sect sold pills and herbs very rich in Yin Energy which could let his body return to equilibrium and even get stronger.

But the problem is that he's poor at the moment, thankfully he was given a lucrative mission, even though he preferred hunting in the Darkness Forest.

Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by a loud commotion from the surrounding people. Looking at where the people were pointing, Wang Yu saw a huge ship enter the city and head toward the Tang Clan's headquarters.

"Isn't that the symbol of the Holy Puppet sect, how come they fly inside the city." said one of the people on the street.

Another one, who wore the clothes of a Rainbow Refinement sect's disciple said with a strange tone "Yes it's, but why didn't the elder of the Tang Clan react."

People then started to gossip and make different kinds of assumptions about the arrival of the Holy Puppect sect. And soon the guards come to end this "Hey guys return to your business, no more commotion is allowed."

Only then did the people stop and return to their way, Wang Yu also did the same.

He bought a strong horse which was at the silver tier and was very strong and fast. He also bought some salt, some spices, a water bag, and some food.

When Wang Yu bought his horse, he was both excited and a little apprehensive. It was the first time in his life that he had ever ridden a horse, but with his strong body and natural agility, he didn't fear falling from the horse.

At first, he found it difficult to balance himself on the horse's back, but soon he got the hang of it. The horse he had bought was a strong and sturdy silver-tiered breed, with powerful legs that made it easy for them to navigate through the rough terrain of the wilderness.

Before leaving the city, Wang Yu got to know that the ship that had arrived was for the Great Elder of the Holy Puppet sect who had come searching for someone.

The city gate was guarded more heavily than in the past time, and they made sure to investigate whoever entered the city. Nevertheless, Wang Yu didn't face any problems, seeing his badge they let him go directly.

Seeing how he rode his horse, which looked afraid. The senior brother who advised him once he entered couldn't help but laugh, "Try to be more gentle with the horse, if not it will get exhausted sooner."

Another one added "Yes, junior brother. This is a good horse. If you treat it well it will be of great help in traveling."

Hearing this Wang Yu understood, when he first bought the horse it was strong and untamed but when he put his hand on its head and used a little force it became very afraid and let him ride peacefully, but it would tremble on the way.

"Thank you, senior brothers," he then left the city.

As Wang Yu rode his horse outside the city, he began to feel a sense of freedom and exhilaration. It was his first time traveling alone, he was like a bird that had left its cage.

He was going to the Bingfeng prefecture which was also a part of the north but slightly warmer than Yexing province in which he is now.

Fortunately, he had a strong horse, and with his strong body and spirit, he would continue traveling for two days before camping and letting the horse rest.

Normal people may find it hard to survive in this environment since there were a lot of strong beasts in the surrounding but for Wang Yu, that was a piece of cake, unless he were to meet a demon, which was hard given that he had chosen a safe route.

It's been three days since Zhong Wei left the village and his life has been very miserable. Even though he chose a relatively safe path he still met with some predators on the way.

Fortunately, he managed to change the path before being noticed, until one time he met a lion and had to climb onto a tree and stay above it for three hours, only then did the lion get tired of waiting.

"What a hard life, how can people travel alone in the wilderness." Said Zhong Wei while biting some dry meat he brought with him before leaving.

He no longer has the temperament of a scholar but looks more like a young beggar, his clothes were tattered and he was very dirty.

Zhong Wei suddenly stopped moving completely, he felt something coming in his direction.

Soon a middle-aged man who looked quite familiar came running while cursing "Just where did the boy go?"

By his side was another who looked very similar to him, they were twins.

"You are useless, you can't even finish a simple task like this." Said the older twin.

"Sorry brother, I didn't think the boy was this cunning. To leave even before I came to assassinate him."

"No need for excuses, let's continue the search. I don't think the boy went far." Said the eldest twin.

Zhong Wei was afraid of making the slightest sound, he just kept silent until they went very far.

'To think the baron would send someone to hunt me down.' Zhong Wei was furious at the same time he couldn't do anything.

He had seen this guy following the Baron back then and knew that the guy should be sent by him.

'I will make sure to take my revenge' Zhong Wei made a vow to himself, before going left.

According to what he learned from his uncle, the direction he chose contained many dangerous beasts.

But so what, he didn't have a choice. He can't possibly return to the village and with the twins searching in the proximity it will be a matter of time before they find him.
