Chapter 35

Words all over the world testified about win, and the support for the Heathers and Hemorrians were unexplainable.

But then, there came some sides on the Ikes, believing that it was all cheated and a fluke. In fact, some people joined the Ike army to make sure they won the war.

Nevertheless, there was a ceremony to honor the Heathers and Hemorrians that fought bravely.

It was the morning of the celebration in fact, which Micah and Peter were dressing up in their room. They were still given the house on the hills just a few miles away from the palace city, but Jack treated them with a bit more respect by giving them immediate citizenship to the kingdom. Vienne and Caville tried to dress their best, while Xavier was a bit careless about his outfit.

But, the thought was still fresh in their minds, as even their dreams began to replicate them.

But, they still won the battle—and they knew many more were to come.

Asiris was already downstairs, checking on his phone as the news blared about the battle.

Immediately, he was perturbed by the sudden voice of Caville.

"So, the US has their hands all over it now?" she asked, proceeding her way behind Asiris.

"Yes, it seems so," he said with a chuckle as he read a little funny post. "Are the kids ready?"

"They should be."

And right that moment, a quite coincidental encounter happened. "Oh, there they are," she said, as they both looked back at them.

"Okay, I'll call Jack—tell him we're ready," he said, as he switched over to the calling app.

"Okay, you do what you do," she said, leaving Asiris to his business.

He called him, and the limo showed up pretty quick—which has been happening quickly since the battle.

They walked out the door, which they were met with Jack opening the door for them. The other didn't mind it, but Asiris did, which he came over and said, "You're not our driver, just let us do something, how about that?" Jack took notice of that, and went inside the driver seat. Then, the limo moved through the busy and flashing streets, which came up towards the hill and to the gates. This time, everyone was allowed to come, even some helicopters were there to film the scene.

The doors opened up, allowing them to come through flashing paparazzi and screams of fans.

"This is one thing I didn't miss," Peter muttered while both brothers started laughing.

"Well for a fact I'm gonna miss this," Xavier said, as he rubbed his hands together. "Let the ladies come to me."

They opened the door, as girls showed their adoration towards Xavier, which he felt a free will of touching the fans.

Peter and Micah were too busy blinking each time the cameras flashed.

Vienne took a very poiseful act towards the fans, as they eventually walked themselves into the door.

This was where the ceremony was, which was quite satisfying as the rich red room with black carpets and people with phones filming the heroes.

News reporters and their cameramen gathered around to explain about the ceremony featuring the current heroes of the time.

Asiris didn't seem to be amused by the news reporters but he tried not to mind them anyways.

They sat on the seats which were prepared just for them, which was proven to be not debunked by the name tags.

Soon enough, the lights turned off, and blue lights came as the king himself came up on the stage.

"Hello beautiful world of Hemor, as I present to you the honor medal." He got out what seemed to be seven medals, although there were only six of the Heathers. "As you know, a week ago, there was a battle right outside our borders. But, in the end—we won. And now I want to honor them from my own heart."

Asiris nodded, having flashes about the war last week, but it was desensitized real quick.

"The first goes to my own general, General Visch!" the king announced, as General Visch, who seemed to be right by Asiris and never said anything, got up to the stage.

"Next, is one of the greatest generals in the world—Asiris of the Heatherland!"

He got up modestly and held his reward tight in his hands.

"Next is one of the greatest fighters in this century—Caville!!"

She took a bit more "fashion model" style towards it, but it still worked.

"Next is none other than—Vienne!" The same thing happened, except she tried to add more poise to it.

"Next, Xavier!"

Xavier was the total opposite, bringing his chest out and making the girls faint which was honestly just play.

The king was a bit befuddled, but proceeded to continue.

"Next, Peter!" he shouted as he gave his smiles to the crowd.

"And none other, as the most important, the most valiant, and the most extraordinary—Micah!!!" he shouted as the crowd got on their feet clapping.

"We love you, Micah!" girls screamed as Micah slowly walked over to the stage.

"These valiant soldiers have helped us keep this kingdom safe, they have helped us—now we'll help them."

Asiris had a sudden leap of joy in his heart as they both shared a very fanatical hug.

"Thank you so much," Asiris thanked. "Thank you so much!"

"No, this is our thank you," he said, shaking his hand very eagerly.

This started a truce and a friendship that would almost be unbreakable, and there would great lengths to destroy it.

"Now, as the second part of our ceremony starts—our heroes will be with me shortly."

That shortly happened to be now, as he immediately gestured for the group to follow him.

"Now, listen—we set up an airplane for you guys and Dr. Lenz. He told us where his friend is, so you guys will be taking quite a trip there."

"Okay, your majesty," Caville answered. "So, where are the airplanes?"

The king chuckled, "Oh, they're just right here."

The group started upon a complete area of airplanes with men that were currently working on the engines as they could presume.

Then, the king turned over to the group. "May God help you steadfast."
