It was three o' clock, the second run of classes to take. Iris was back home once again, although no one was sure what she was doing when she was gone, but at least she was back.
The classes were in a whole other building that was right by the castle. But they were stationed inside room 432, the place where they met with none other than Caville.
She worked with Micah and Peter during the Great War of the Ikes and the Heathers, and someone she loved died in one of the battles, and she was always bitter about it.
She was very harsh to Micah's kids, mainly because she knew what they could hold, and she was making sure to train them up to that moment.
They were outside this time, in this area that was surrounded by big trees.
There were multiple soldiers training there, including Jaxon and Anne, who seemed to be waiting specifically for Kade and Blaine.
Blaine predicted this because they quickly rushed over to them with smiling faces. "Hey Blaine," Anne said, coming in with a hug.
Jaxon and Kade didn't hug, but greeted each other with a very creative handshake.
"How was your day so far?" Anne asked. Blaine shrugged, "Not too much happened, just reading in the library again."
"How are you sure you haven't read almost all those history books?" Jaxon asked. "Most of them are mostly just the same."
"Not really, different information can also affect some parts of history," Blaine said.
"What'd I expect from a future king," Kade scoffed, being returned with a cross look.
"Anyways, so what do you think we're doing today?" Jaxon aked.
"It's near impossible to even predict that," Anne said. "She never tells us, so we can never prepare."
Blaine shrugged, "I think that's the point, we can never predict what's going to happen, so we need to be on guard at all times."
"Well, I mean—when they say we're going to fight, obviously we know that a battle is going to happen," Kade said. "Therefore, you need to prepare."
"Hmm," Jaxon wondered, scratching his chin. "Interesting argument."
Then in the middle of their conversation, they were rudely interrupted.
"Hello students!" Caville bellowed, catching the attention of all the soldiers. "We are going to do something a little different today."
Intriguing the students, she continued, "We are going to do a bit of a game of some sort, not a tournament, but a little game."
"So, what's the game?" one of the students that had black hair asked.
"Two soldiers will come up onto the 'stage', then they will fight. The person that wins will continue fighting until they are defeated," Caville explained. "I hope to be entertained."
They've never done something like this before, and it could mean great embarrassment if they lost.
Some boys found it as a way to attract the ladies, while others did it for rivalry or just for fun.
Kade wanted to go against Blaine badly, while he was scared more of going against Jaxon. Sure, Kade was a very good fighter and could bring you to submission in seconds.
But Jaxon was very quick to learn and sometimes he'd play mind tricks, predicting every move you did. But Blaine also used this opportunity to adapt to his kind of ways.
To give him something he didn't expect.
Suddenly, Caville grabbed the bowl by the table beside her, revealing the importance of it. It was with all the students' names, and she was going to pick the first two.
She put her hand on it and shuffled through it, as the tension began to build up until she was finally done, and picked out two pieces of paper. She separated them and then looked up to the students.
"Jaxon, and Hans."
Everyone sighed with relief, knowing that they weren't going to be one of the first to get out.
Hans, who had blond curly hair, walked up with Jaxon. Caville gave them both wooden sticks, so it was going to hurt once someone was hit with one of these objects.
"Fight," she said, as they both charged in.
Jaxon immediately stopped his momentum once Hans swung his weapon. They stayed away from each other, trying to defend each other's body from the wooden stick.
Then Jaxon ducked when Hans swung. Blaine was quick to analyze his movements. Jaxon was quick, and was very aware when someone was doing a powerful move.
Then Jaxon moved Hans' stick to the side, and punched him in the belly, which made him crouch. Then before Hans could look up, Jaxon knew he needed to use this time to give a blow to the face.
The punch sounded brutal, and it looked brutal, because Hans's nose became bloody.
His eyes were red with anger and before Jaxon could even prepare his stance, Hans rushed in.
If he was going to be like that—then Jaxon needed to step on the same level.
Once Hans raised his stick, Jaxon moved to the side, knowing he was going to swing for the left side. Therefore revealing the other side of his body. He used the tactics of hitting him on the shoulder, to make it harder to move it.
He swung repeatedly at his shoulder, making no space for Hans to even react.
Then at a quick moment, Jaxon swung his wooden stick and smacked Hans in the head with a hit. Hans felt a bolt of pain in his head, and he fell to the floor—groaning in pain.
"Well, we have our winner," Caville said, picking up Hans onto his feet. "Now, let's see who's next."
She put him back in his seat, and then quickly went over to the bowl again, to see who was going to challenge him next.
She rooted through the bowl, and this time it felt even more tense, because no one wanted to fight Jaxon's brutal side.
But once she picked up the paper, she shouted, "Jaxon will be fighting against Will."
Everyone turned towards the back to see a person with dark chocolate-color hair, with very pale skin. Blaine wasn't sure if he was normally like that, or it was that he was scared.
Nonetheless, he walked up to the arena, and he got his wooden stick.
Then Caville said, "Fight!"
They both ran towards each other with Jaxon taking the offensive side. Blaine probed his movements again, and it seemed different this time.
He was now in an offensive state of mind, continuously oscillating his weapon towards Will's own. It was possible he was trying to fragment his defense, and so far it seemed to work.
Then Will moved from his position and shifted Jaxon's stick to the side.
He went in for the stab, but Jaxon managed to volt backwards to evade the hit. Then they both started fighting each other again, but except this time—they were purposely going for each other's weapons instead of their holders.
They started moving around in a hoop-like motion, just to keep the body from being preserved in one area.
But then, Will advanced Jaxon's stick to the side again, and this time tried to move downward for the head.
Luckily Jaxon obstructed the attack and propelled him in the stomach with his foot.
Will's stability was failing and to completely annihilate it, Jaxon came in with a hard strike to the face, just like Hans, and he plummeted to the floor.
Jaxon—again—got the victory.

After Jaxon's two rounds of winning, a lot of people were nervous to fight him, but Caville continued to draw more papers, and now everyone was sweating.
Except for Kade.
Blaine thought of Kade as a boy who seemed to be very overconfident in himself, therefore believing he should control everything. It was probably the fact that he was born an hour later than Blaine, making him very bitter.
But once Caville reached her hand out again, she looked at it, and chuckled.
"Why is she chuckling?" someone whispered. And then, she said, "Jaxon and Kade."
Everyone gasped at them, knowing this was going to be a tough battle.
Jaxon and Kade were very good fighters, and it could mean bad news if they fought. It would be a very bloody battle, so everyone was enthralled by this choice.
Kade got his own while Jaxon kept his, and they both got into the stance.
Their eyes focused on each other's eyes, making sure to show no sign of weakness. They weren't going to lose, never.
Then, Caville announced, "Fight!" And they did, coming in with a strong attack.
