Episode 19 - All Star Team Up

Previously on the Flash.

Barry was on the train with his friend, Felicity Smoak. :If you ever need anything, I will race over in a heartbeat." Barry told her.

"Same. Well, as fast as I can run." Felicity admits.

In Starling City, Ray Palmer was telling Felicity about his new suit. "Advanced Technology Operating Mechanism... A.T.O.M." Ray informs her.

"What are you gonna use it for?" Felicity asked.

"To protect the people of this city." Ray answers.

With Cisco and Joe. "You think Dr. Wells killed Barry's mom?" Cisco asked.

"I don't know yet. But I do know that Wells keeps secrets." Joe answers.

With Joe, Atchaco and Barry. "The way that he described running... feeling the wind and the power... it's like he was talking from experience." Atchaco admitted.

"Harrison Wells is The Reverse-Flash." Barry tells him.

Barry and Atchaco stand in front of Eddie and reveal their secret identities to him. "Eddie, we need your help." Joe said.

A few days later at night time, the police were chasing down some criminals, the normal, non enhanced kind. "We've got a 10-31 in progress. Shiny Diamond, 18th and Olive." The dispatcher announces.

"That's only a few blocks from here." Eddie points out.

"Has every crook in Central City gone crazy? This is the third attempted robbery tonight. Barry, Macanese. We got another one." Joe said and a few seconds later, Barry and Macanese had zoomed into the car.

"Hello." Barry smiled.

"18th and Olive." Joe informed them.

"Got it." Macanese replied.

Joe then turns around and sees another person in the car. "Who's this?" He questions.

"Oh. Indecent exposure. Powell Park." Barry answers.

"That ain't something you should be showing people." Joe tells the man.

"No it isn't, it never is and theres a lady present." Macanese agrees as the criminals speeds ahead of the car.

"They're getting away, guys." Eddie reminds them.

"They're not getting away, Eddie." Barry smiles.

"Let's get these bozos up ahead of us first, and then we'll worry about the idiots at the Shiny Diamond." Joe said.

"All right." Macanese replied.

"We're going to run out of the room, though." Joe told them

"We'll take care of that." Barry smiles as Macanese chuckles. Then Barry and Macanese zoom out of the car, taking Joe with them.

"What do you think they meant by that." Eddie questioned as he turns around and see Joe is gone. Then Barry and Macanese put Joe in the driver seat of the criminals car and grabbed the criminal who had been driving and puts him the back of Eddie's. "Oh, that's what he meant."

"I think we lost them." A criminal said.

Joe turns around and points his gun at him. "Oh, no, you didn't. And by the way, you're under arrest." Joe tell him. The criminals looks down to find handcuffs on his wrists and Joe chuckles.

Somewhere else, a jewelry store was being robbed. "We need to go. Now. Come on!" On of them said as Joe and Eddie walked into the store.

"Uh-uh. Freeze." Joe told them as Barry and Macanese zoomed in and took their guns.

"You guys missing these?" Macanese chuckles.

"On the ground. On the ground." Eddie ordered and the robbers listened and got on the ground.

"So, uh, I'm just curious, but... have you guys not heard of us, or what?" Barry wonders. Joe laughs and gives Barry a fist bump.

"Nice work, detective." Macanese told Eddie.

Later, at Hudson University, a professor was walking towards the parking lot on the way to her car. Once she got inside, she suddenly gets attacked by a swarm of bees and she screams. "Good night, Dr. Kang." A voice chuckles in the darkness.

In the morning, police were all over the crime scene in the parking lot. "Victim's name is Lindsay Kang, engineering professor at Hudson University. Just got tenure." Eddie informed them.

"Hey." Barry said as Joe and Eddie walked over to where he and Atchaco were with the body.

"So, her whole body's covered in these puncture wounds you see on her face. Bite marks maybe." Atchaco explains.

"Whatever it was, she must have gone into anaphylaxis." Barry said.

"Damn." Joe replied.

"Yeah." Atchaco agreed.

"The blood sample should tell us everything we need to know. We'll run tests back at our lab." Barry said.

"They can do it faster at S.T.A.R. Labs." Joe pointed out.

"Well, yeah, but, I mean, it's just…" Atchaco tries to say.

"It's just what?" Joe asked.

"It's kind of weird being there right now." Barry answered.

"Yeah, what he said." Atchaco agrees.

"Barry, Atchaco, you both know we have to play it cool with Wells. If he finds out we suspect him…" Joe tells them.

"We know. We get it." Barry sighs.

"We just think that we should tell Cisco and Caitlin. They could help us." Atchaco admits.

"The more people who know, the more chance Wells is gonna find out we're on to him. I mean, what if one of them slips up? Or panics? Or what if…" Joe goes to say.

"What?" Barry asked.

"What if they're not on our side?" Joe questions.

"No. Absolutely not. They're not involved in whatever he's planning." Atchaco answers.

"She's right." Barry told him.

"I mean, Wells is their boss, their mentor." Joe reminds them. "They've been with him for a long time. I've seen plenty of people make the wrong choice for loyalty. Please do not include them until we can be sure." Atchaco nods.

"All right." Barry replies.

Later, Barry and Atchaco bring the blood sample to STAR Labs. "Death by apitoxin." Caitlin informs them.

"Honeybee venom." Wells simplifies.

"Bees. Why did it have to be bees? Y'all, I don't do bees. Ain't nobody got time for bees." Cisco complains.

"But when a honeybee stings, the stingers are literally torn from their abdomen, and they die." Wells reminded them.

"But there were no stingers in the body and no dead bees in the car." Atchaco points out.

"A honeybee can only deposit .1 milligrams of apitoxin when it releases its stinger." Caitlin informs them.

"And yet, Ms. Kang was found with enough venom in her system to kill a herd of elephants. It appears not only is a meta-human controlling these bees but also increasing their toxicity." Wells replies.

"Bees communicate by releasing pheromones. Maybe this meta's controlling them through secretion?" Barry wondered.

"Anyone want to join me in getting a beekeeper suit?" Cisco chuckles.

"I'm pretty sure Barry and I can outrun a bee." Atchaco told him.

"Just don't run into a lake." A voice called from behind them. They all turn around to see Felicity Smoak standing in the doorway. "Bees will wait for you to come up for air and then they'll sting you. Discovery Channel. Turns out there's a lot to discover."

"Felicity, what are you doing here?" Barry asked.

"Can you guys come outside for a sec?" Felicity questioned.

Minutes later, they were all standing outside, looking up at the sky. "What exactly are we waiting for, Ms. Smoak?" Wells asked her.

"Up there." Felicity answered, pointing upwards and they all see something fly in the sky.

"Is that a bird?" Caitlin asked.

"It's a plane." Cisco replied as a man in a suit lands in front of them, cracking the floor.

"It's my boyfriend." Felicity corrects them.

"Hi. I'm Ray." He introduces himself to the others.

A few minutes later, Caitlin was checking over Ray's vitals. "So he seems a little tall for you." Barry said.

"Barry Allen, are you jealous?" Felicity asked him.

"Je... no. No, I'm not jealous. I just... I really wish you would've called before flying in." Barry mumbled.

"Oh no, he flew. I drove." Felicity reminded him.

"I'm serious, all right?" Barry replied.

"Yeah, now is not the best time." Atchaco pointed out, walking up to them.

"Why? What's going on?" Felicity asked.

"Ah, well, my ears popped, so that's something." Ray admitted as he walked into the room with Caitlin.

"You're lucky you didn't break your neck." Caitlin tell him. "What is it with billionaires being superheroes?"

"So have you... picked a name yet?" Cisco asked, walking away from Ray's suit.

"I'm kind of partial to The Atom. Shoo." Ray smiled, motioning his hand around.

"You married to that, or...?" Cisco laughs.

"Your A.T.O.M. suit... it's quite the technological achievement, Mr. Palmer. I'm impressed." Wells admits.

"And he is never impressed." Caitlin told them.

"Well, thank you, but I can't quite seem to keep it up." Ray tells them.

"He means the suit." Felicity informs them.

"Yeah, I mean the suit." Ray agreed.

Yeah. I can attest that everything else works just fine. There's nothing we need to fix in…" Felicity clicks her tongue. "That area."

"No, no, no. The sеx is great." Ray blurted out.

"God, there's two of them." Caitlin moaned.

"I know from Felicity that you have been very helpful with Barry and the Flash suit and the suit she made Macanese, and I was hoping to get another set of eyes on my…" Ray said.

"Problem." Felicity suggested.

"Problem." Ray agreed.

"Any friend of The Arrow's is a friend…" Wells started.

"Hell, yes." Cisco cheered.

"Uh, guys. We kind of have a lot going on already." Barry pointed out.

"He's right." Atchaco replied. "There's the meta-human killer that can control a whole swarm of bees?"

"Cool." Ray chuckles before noticing that no one else is smiling. "I mean, awful."

"I'm sure Caitlin and I will provide ample support, Barry and Macanese." Wells told them.

"And I will be happy to sit this one out." Cisco confesses.

"You…" Barry said.

"Ray, why don't you stay here and work on your suit while Barry, Atchaco and I run to Jitters for some java?" Felicity wondered.

"Sounds like a plan." Ray smiled.

"Coffee?" Felicity asked.

"Sure." Barry and Atchaco answered. They both then walk out of the lab as Wells watches them leave.

Later, Iris walks up to Eddie at the precinct. "Hey, Detective." Iris greets him.

"Iris. What are you doing here?" Eddie asked.

"I am following up on my story about crime in Central City. Or lack thereof. Could someone be working with The Flash and Thunder?" Iris answered.

"No. Of course not." Eddie told her.

"You caught a flasher, armed robbers in a getaway car, and two jewellery thieves last night." Iris reminded him.

"I'm just that good." Eddie smiled.

"What is going on with you lately?" Iris wondered. "You've been acting really weird and withdrawn. If I didn't know any better, I'd think that you were hiding something from me."

"Iris, I'm... I'm not hiding anything from you." Eddie reassured her. Iris sighs and walks away, running into Joe.

"Do you ever go to work?" Joe questions.

"Oh, you're funny." Iris replied as she continued walking. Joe laughs as he walks up to his desk and Eddie walks up to Joe.

"Okay, I can't keep lying to Iris about the Flash and Thunder." Eddie complained.

"You have to." Joe reminds him.

"It's really starting to affect our relationship. We haven't had sеx in two weeks. Which you didn't want to know about." Eddie admits to him.

"Keeping her in the dark keeps her safe." Joe argues.

"I don't agree." Eddie tells him.

"Well, I'm her father." Joe replies.

"And I'm her boyfriend. When does my vote outweigh yours?" Eddie wonders.

"When you become her husband." Joe smirks. Eddie sighs and walks away.

Later, Atchaco, Barry and Felicity are at Jitters. "You know I left Starling City to get away from the mood and brood, but it looks like it followed me here." Felicity told them.

"I know. I'm sorry." Barry apologses.

"It's like I said before, now is not the best time." Atchaco reminds her.

"Barry." Felicity sighs, turning to the man. "I have been through enough with you to know when you're holding something back. Is this because I told Ray your secrets? Because he is trustworthy, Barry. He wants to help people, just like you guys."

"I know, that's not what I'm worried about. It's... we really don't want to put anyone else in danger." Barry admitted.

"In danger of what?" Felicity asked as Eddie walks up.

"Barry, Atchaco hey." Eddie greets them.

"Eddie, hey." Atchaco returned.

"You remember Felicity." Barry said.

"Of course." Eddie smiled.

"Hey." Felicity waves.

"Great to see you." Eddie tells her.

"Yeah." She replies before noticing that he is in a bad moon. "What is wrong with you? Is everyone in Central City in a bad mood? I thought Central City was supposed to be the fun one."

"It's, um... It's not…" Eddie mumbles as he motions to them about Felicity.

"Eddie, it is okay. Felicity knows." Atchaco reassured him.

"Wow." Eddie sighed.

"Yeah." Barry agreed.

"So everyone but Iris." Eddie points out.

"It feels that way." Atchaco admits.

"How do you lie to everyone you care about?" Eddie asked.

"For starters, don't think of it as lying. Think of it as protecting her from getting hurt... with a fib." Felicity suggested.

"I agree." Atchaco said.

"But Iris can tell I'm hiding something, and it's putting this distance between us." Eddie replied.

"I have an idea." Felicity confessed. "Why don't we all go to dinner tonight? A little wine and dine is sure to bridge the gap. Come on, we all had fun last time."

"Sure. Why not?" Eddie smiles.

"Barry Allen, fifth wheel." Barry sighed.

"Hey, Barry Allen, you have a girlfriend now." Atchaco reminds him.

"Oh, yeah… I forgot." Barry mumbled.

"Yup." Atchaco chuckled.

Later at Folston Tech, a man was talking on the phone with someone when he passes a blond woman, she opens up her hand and talks to the bee that she is holding. "You see that bad man over there?" She whispers and the bee buzzes in her hand. "Tell your sisters it's time." Then she releases the bee and it flies away.

Back at STAR Labs, Cisco was looking over Ray's suit. "So you put solid oxide fuel cells into the belt?" Cisco asked.

"Yeah, it's the only place to hide the hardware." Ray answered.

"Hmm, well, they should be generating enough energy to power the suit. It could be the operating temperature. I mean, you're essentially…" Cisco started.

"Overheating the system, yeah. I figured." Ray admitted.

"But if we insulate them with a ceramic compound…" Cisco continues.

"We may improve the operating efficiency." Ray chuckles. "You really are quite clever, Cisco."

Suddenly, Cisco starts to see these vivid flashes, vibes you might call them and then he starts to see something. "Some would say I'm the reverse." Reverse Flash states. Then Cisco sees that he was in the containment sstem with Wells, who was walking. "You're incredibly clever, Cisco." He then sees Wells vibrate his hand and shoves it into Cisco's chest, killing him. Cisco then snaps out of the vision when Ray starts to talk to him.

"How do you turn this thing on? Cisco? You okay?" Ray asked.

"Yeah. I haven't been getting enough sleep, so…" Cisco lied when the alarm starts blaring around them.

"Cisco, we need you up here." Caitlin calls over the speaker. Ray and Cisco then quickly walk up the the lab with Caitlin and Wells. "Killer bees are at it again."

"Get a hold of Barry and Macaese." Wells told them.

Back at Jitters, Barry and Atchaco got a text from Caitlin. "Another bee attack. Folston Tech." Barry said.

"I'll see where Joe is." Eddie replied as he walks away.

"Bee careful." Felicity smiles.

"Really?" Atchaco muttered.

"Bad pun. Sorry. Just don't die." Felicity replied. Barry and Atchaco then walk out of Jitters and zoom all the way to Folston tech.

When they arrive, they see people running away screaming and that's when they notice the dead body of the man that was on the phone earlier. "We're too late." Barry told them.

"Where are the bees?" Cisco asked.

"I don't know. There's no sign of them." Macanese answered. Suddenly, they start t hear buzzing and see a bee fly out the man's mouth. Their faces widen as more started flying out of his mouth.

"Found them." Barry said and he and Macanese start to run all over the building, trying to get away from the bees.

"How do we get out of here?" Macanese asked.

"Take the northeast crossway. It's the quickest way out of the building." Cisco told them but then they take the northwest it turns out to be a dead end and the bees catch up to them.

"Guys, they're everywhere. We're surrounded." Barry replied. Then Barry and Macanese get consumed by the bees as they run out outside the building, they both fall onto the ground as Joe arrives.

"Barry! Macanese!" Joe shouted as he gets over to them and the bees fly away. "Barry. Macanese."

Back at STAR Labs, Wells was looking at their vitals. "They're going into cardiac arrest." He notices.

Back with Joe, he was kneeling beside the two near-dead speedster. "Barry, Macanese, stay with me." Joe cries. He then takes out his phone and calls Cisco, putting him on speaker. "Cisco! Barry and Macanese don't have a pulse."

"Step away from them." He orders.

"What? Why?" Joe asked.

"We need to jumpstart their hearts. There's a defibrillator in thiers suits." Cisco informed him and Joe steps away from the two dead speedsters.

"Charge it to 360 joules." Caitlin ordered.

"Charging in three, two, one." Wells replied, pushing a button. Then electricity sparks of the defibrillators but nothing happens.

"Hit them again. 400 joules." Caitlin said.

"Charging in three, two, one." Wells repeated and pushed the button again, and thankfully this time it works.

Macanese and Barry's eyes open as they gasp. "Dieing always hurts." Macanese chuckles as Joe rushes over to them.

"Barry, Macanese." Joe smiles. Everyone sighs in relief at knowing that they were both okay.

Back at STAR Labs, everyone was in the Cortex. "That is it for the defibrillators. They're completely fried." Cisco told them.

"You're both lucky to be alive." Wells reminds them.

"I was very specific that you not die." Felicity admits.

"Yeah, that's a pretty big thing for her." Ray tells them.

"Cisco, what happened out there? We followed your directions exactly." Atchaco said.

"I'm sorry. I led you the wrong way. The schematics that we had, they... they weren't up to date." Cisco apologises.

"What, they weren't up to date? What do you mean? That's never happened before." Barry reminds them.

"What, you think Cisco was trying to get you killed?" Felicity wondered.

"No. Of course not." Atchaco reassures her.

"Why would he do that? That doesn't make any sense." Barry pointed out.

"I know. That's why I was joking." Felicity said.

"Barry, Macanese, it's our job to protect you two, and today, we failed, but that'll just serve as a warning for all of us to be more vigilant in the future." Wells replied.

"Good news... the apitoxin is out of your body. Your levels are back to normal." Caitlin informs them.

"Terrific." Atchaco said. Then the two speedster zoomed out of the Cortex and then seconds later reappeared. Barry was wearing a suit and Atchaco was in a white and grey striped pant suit.

"Ray, Felicity. We're gonna be late for dinner." Barry told her.

"Are you sure that's wise, Barry?" Wells asked.

"You both just died." Caitlin reminded them.

"Maybe you should order in tonight." Cisco suggested.

"Yeah, we could totally cancel." Ray admitted.

"We're fine." Atchaco replied. "And I have died before and done more akward things just after I became alive again."

"Yeah, alive. Hungry. All right? Let's go." Barry said as walks away. Atchaco, Ray and Felicity follow right behind hm and they all walk out of the Cortex.

"That was weird." Cisco noticed.

"Yeah. Why didn't we get invited to dinner?" Caitlin wondered as a bee came flying out of Barry's suit without them noticing.

Later at nighttime, Atchaco, Barry, Felicity and Ray arrive at the restaurant. "Oh. Thank you." Felicity said as Barry and Ray open the doors for Felicity and Atchaco.

"Such gentlemen." Atchaco smiles as they walk up to Iris and Eddie.

"Hey, guys. Wow, Iris. Check you out." Felicity said.

"Hi, Felicity." Iris chuckled.

"Hello." Felicity greets her as she gives Iris a quick hug.

"Hi." Eddie returns.

"Hey. Guys, this is Ray Palmer." Felicity introduced.

"Hi. Nice to meet you." Ray said as he shakes Eddie's hand.

"Lovely to meet you." Eddie replied.

"Hi, nice to meet you." Iris agreed.

"Nice to meet you." Ray repeated as he shook Iris's hand as well.

"Barry." Eddie said before turning to Atchaco. "Atchaco, you look gorgeous."

"Thank you." Atchaco replied as the Matire D walks up to them.

"Bienvenue chez Massimo Restaurant. Mr. Palmer, your table is ready." They say.

"Great. Shall we?" Ray wonders.

"Yes." Felicity replied as she takes Ray's arm. Everyone starts to walk but Iris stops to talk to Barry and Atchaco.

"Hey, how did he get a reservation here? We've been trying for months." Iris asked.

"I don't know." Barry answered and Iris laughs.

"Here's your table, sir." The Matire D said. They all arrive and when they walk in they find that it is empty and only the waiters were their.

"I thought it'd be nice if it was quiet, so I bought out the entire restaurant. Too much?" Ray admitted.

"Just a tad, sweetie." Felicity smiled.

Meanwhile, at the precinct, Cisco walks up to Joe. "Joe." He greets the older man.

"Oh, Cisco. Hey." Joe returned. "You just saved me a trip to S.T.A.R. Labs. I got some info on our second victim." he hands Cisco a file. "Name's Bill Carlisle. He was recently hired at Folston Tech to beef up their robotics division."

"Robotics? That's just like the first victim." Cisco pointed out. "Wow. That is weird."

"That's not why you stopped by." Joe realised.

"No, I wanted to talk to you about Barry and Atchaco." Cisco admitted.

"Okay." Joe said as he potions for Cisco to take a seat.

"Is there something going on with them? Something their not telling us?" Cisco wondered.

"What do you mean?" Joe asked.

"Barry hasn't really been like himself and Atchaco is keeping to herself, she never does that." Cisco answers.

"Not that I'm aware of." Joe lied.

"It's like something is just really bothering them." Cisco points out.

"Well, I think they have got their minds trained on catching the bad guys, Cisco. And Barry's probably worried about when The Reverse-Flash is gonna show his face again." Joe told him. Cisco suddenly gets flashes of the Reverse Flash and Wells again but snaps out of it when Joe talks to him. "Hey. You okay?"

"Yeah. Yeah, no, I'm fine. It's just... I've got this crazy headache. Thank you for the file and the talk." Cisco answers as he grabs the file and leaves.

Back at the Restaurant, everyone was talking together. "So how did you two meet?" Eddie asked.

"Work." Felicity answered.

"Well, actually, I bought the company where Felicity was employed, and so she was forced to join me at Palmer Tech." Ray corrected.

"It's not as creepy as it sounds." Felicity admits.

"So you two work closely together?" Iris questions.

"Mm-hmm." Felicity hummed.

"Interesting. I guess you guys share all of your thoughts and feelings and…" Iris starts.

"Yeah...I share everything with Felicity." Ray tells her.

"It's nice that you guys have that level of communication." Iris said as she looks over at Eddie.

"Oh, well, no, not every-everything. I mean, sometimes it's good to just shut up." Felicity chuckles.

"I get that. Some things are better left unspoken." Eddie agreed.

"Really? I... I don't find that to be true." Iris replied.

"Oh, thank God. It's the food." Barry smiled.

"Food's here." Atchaco said.

"Our first course on the tasting menu is a quail egg frittata. Bon appetit." The waiter says as he turns and walks away.

"Barry, Atchaco." Ray chuckles. "I got to admit, I envy you spending so much time at S.T.A.R. Labs. Harrison Wells is, like, a personal hero of mine. I mean, it's amazing just to actually be in the same room with him."

Barry then starts to look like he was having a panic attack. "I'll be right back." He said. He gets up and walks into another room.

"Can you just excuse us." Atchaco replied as she follows Barry into the other room.

"Okay." Ray said.

"Well, I, um... have to pee." Felicity lied as she runs off into the other room. Meanwhile, Barry was freaking out as Atchaco was trying to calm him down when Felicity walked into the room. "Okay, you've been acting super strange ever since Ray and I got to Central City. What is going on with you? And don't say it's a bad time. Oliver might be joining the League of Assassins, Laurel's the Black Canary, and Thea's training with Malcolm, so I know about bad times."

Atchaco looks at Barry and sighs. "Okay. Joe and I found out that Wells isn't who he says he is." Atchaco admits.

"He…" Barry sighs. "He is the man that killed my mother."

"Oh, my God. But he's been helping you two." Felicity pointed out.

"Get faster, stronger. We know." Atchaco told her.

"Why?" Felicity asked.

I don't know. I don't know anything anymore, especially who I can and can't trust." Barry admitted.

"So you think Cisco and Caitlin are helping him? That's impossible." Felicity replied.

"Yeah, it is crazy." Atchaco agreed.

"Is it?" Barry wondered.

"Yes. They were trying to save you and Atchaco today, Barry. They did save you two." Felicity answered.

"Wells has also saved us." Barry reminded her. "Many times. I thought that Wells was a great man, and I was so wrong about him. What if I'm wrong about everything else too?"

"Hey, guys." Ray said as he walks into the room. "Uh, things are getting a little intense in here."

In the other room, Iris and Eddie were arguing. "Please can't we just have a nice evening?" Eddie questioned.

"Okay, so it's my fault that we're not having a nice evening? I am your girlfriend. Who you live with. I shouldn't have to beg you to talk to me." Iris argued.

"If I could talk to you about this, I would, believe me. But I can't." Eddie reminded her.

"You know what? I am not hungry anymore." Iris admitted as she stood up.

"Iris." Eddie tried to say.

"You know what? When you are ready to act like we are two people who love each other, call me. I'll be at my dad's." Iris informs him and storms off.

Barry, Atchaco, Ray and felicity then walk back in as they catch the end of the fight. "Thank you for dinner. I've got to go." Eddie said as he turns and leaves.

Then Barry and Atchaco's phone vibrate as they get a text message. "Uh, emergency at S.T.A.R. Labs." Atchaco tells them.

"Go." Felicity sighed.

"Sorry." Barry apologised and then he and Atchaco zoom out of the restaurant.

"Well, only 17 more courses to go." Ray chuckles.

At STAR Labs, Caitlin was firing a fire extinguisher as Cisco was firing a gun in the Cortex. "Containment breach. Foreign object detected." A voice said. Cisco shoots and makes a hole in the table.

"Did I get it? I think I got it." Cisco admitted.

"Where is he?" Caitlin asked. Then as the bee was in front of Wells, he was about to leave his chair when Barry and Atchaco zoom in, Barry catches the object and Atchaco places it into a jar.

"Thank you." Wells said as Atchaco hands the jar to Cisco.

"Let's see what makes this bee so poisonous." Cisco groans in disgust as he walks away.

"You saved my life." Cisco pointed out. Barry and Atchaco don't say anything and just walk to the other room with Cisco and Caitlin. Cisco was currently looking at the bee through a microscope.

"That is one odd-looking bee." Caitlin notices.

"That's 'cause it isn't a bee at all. It's a robot." Cisco explained.

"No way." Caitlin replied as she takes a look at it. Barry then looks at the bee, but what they didn't know was that it was broadcasting live to the blond who was controlling the rest of the bees.

Minutes later, Ray and felicity arrive at STAR Labs. "Unbelievable." Cisco gasps. "This bot's got 360-degree vision system. I mean, we're talking multiple mirco-cameras all coming from various angles at the same time. Which means…"

"It can see all around the room at once. That is…" Ray continued.

"Amazing." Ray and Cisco finished in sync.

"Disturbing." Caitlin said.

"It's also next-gen hardware that nowhere near the market." Wells points out.

"So we're not dealing with a meta-human?" Felicity asked.

"It's just a mad scientist." Atchaco answered.

"Cisco, you said the second victim, Bill Carlisle, was a robotics engineer. Let's cross-reference his previous employers with those of Lindsay Kang." Wells suggested.

"Allow me." Felicity smiled as she quickly sits down in front of the computer. "Mama's been away from a keyboard for far too long."

"Okay." Cisco said. Felicity then starts typing, cross referencing the victims quickly.

"They both worked at Mercury Labs." Barry told them.

"Let's call Joe. I think it's time we paid a visit to an old friend." Wells replied.

Later, they call go to Mercury Labs. "Twice in one year, Harrison. You really are vying for comeback scientist of the year." McGee smirked.

"Always a pleasure, Christina." Wells returned.

"To what do I owe this visit? Did you finally find my tachyon prototype, or are you here to blackmail me for another one?" McGee asked them.

"Do you have another one?" Wells questioned.

"We came here for information. Bill Carlisle and Lindsay Kang. Former employees who were recently murdered." Joe told her.

"My God. I wasn't aware." McGee gasped, clearly shocked about the news.

"Stung to death by robotic bees." Wells tells her.

"You're looking for Brie Larvan." McGee replies.

"Brie Larvan?" Atchaco wondered.

"A quite brilliant roboticist who once developed miniature mechanical bees for agricultural use. Kang and Carlisle warned me that Brie was weaponizing the bees for military use, so I terminated her." McGee informed them.

"Well, it seems that you would be on her hit list too, Doctor." Joe said.

"You've got to let us keep you safe." Wells told her.

"I'm all too familiar with your inability to protect things, Harrison." McGee chuckles. "I can take care of myself. Good day."

"Thank you." Joe replied.

Later, Barry and Atchaco meet up with Felciity at Jitters. "Hey." Felicity greets them. "Okay, so we found our queen bee. Brie Larvan. She's a roboticist."

"Joe is running a trace on her current location, but so far nothing." Atchaco tells her.

"Good." Felicity said, clearing her throat.

"Where is Ray?" Barry asked.

"Oh, he's working on his suit with Cisco." Felicity answered.

"Ray is some guy, I am very happy for you." Atchaco told her.

"Thank you." Felicity replied.

"We like Ray. He seems like he's a really good guy." Barry said.

"He is a good guy. Just like Cisco. And Caitlin. Girl." Felicity replied.

"Is that why you called me here?" Barry asked.

"Actaully, I told Triton to call Felicity while we were busy, and we told her to call you, sorry." Atchaco apologised.

"I know that you're in a tricky situation, but that's when you need your friends to have your back. And how can they if you won't let them?" Felicity wondered.

"It's not that simple." Barry sighed. "What if Joe is right, and I tell them, and it backfires? Wells isn't just their boss, Felicity. He is their mentor, their hero. My hero." He sighs again. "Look, it's… I don't know what to do."

"When I first met Oliver, before I knew he was The Arrow, he would... he would ask me to do weird things for him like decrypt a bullet-ridden computer or hack some company. And when I would ask him why, he would come up these ridiculous excuses. And I always knew he was lying, but I would help him anyway. You know why?" Felicity questioned them.

"Hmm?" Atchaco hummed.

"Because I knew Oliver was a good person with a good heart. And Cisco and Caitlin? They're no different." Felicity admitted.

Somewhere else, Iris was at her dad's house when Barry walks into the room. "Hey." Iris greets.

"Hey. So you're really staying here tonight?" Barry wondered.

"Tonight. Tomorrow night. The night after that. Do you think that Eddie is cheating on me?" Iris asked.

"No. Eddie's not that kind of guy." Barry answered.

"Well, then I don't know what else he could be hiding from me." Iris told him.

"Iris… Remember when we were kids, and Joe would come home from work with that blank expression on his face?" Barry asked.

"Yeah." Iris chuckles. "The 'Earth to Joe' look. How could I forget?"

"I never understood that look until I started working for the CCPD." Barry confessed. "Showing up at crime scenes and seeing someone murdered... it can be ugly work. And Atchaco and I are lucky. We get to hide behind the science of it and just stay in our lab, but Eddie, he's out there every day in the darkness. I just... I think that maybe if he doesn't want to talk to you about his work, it's probably because he wants to keep you in the light." Iris smiles. "What?"

"I'm just surprised." Iris told him. "You going out of your way like this to help me see Eddie's point of view. It's just... It's just something Atchaco would probably do. She rubbing off on you."

"Yeah." Barry smiled. "Eddie makes you happy. All I ever want is for you to be happy, Iris. Welcome home." Barry then turns and walks out of the room.

At STAR Labs, Caitlin and Felicity were watching Ray and Cisco through the live video feed. "It is so fun to watch grown men play with their toys." Felicity chuckles.

"You're so lucky. Ray is so nice and smart and hot." Caitlin replies.

"Yeah, it's kind of like I'm dating Barry but in Oliver's body." Felicity admits. "A sentence you will never repeat to anyone else because is Atchaco doesn't kill me her AI will."

"Your secret's safe with me." Caitlin smiles when they suddenly start hearing a buzzing sound come from the robotic bee.

"It must have re-activated. And if it's being controlled wirelessly…" Wells started to say.

"I can trace its signal and figure out where it's trying to go." Felicity finished as she starts to type quickly on the computer. "Oh, no."

"Oh, boy." Wells gasped.

"What?" Caitlin asked.

"The swarm is headed for Mercury Labs. Brie Larvan's going after Tina." Wells realised.

Later, McGee was standing in her office at Mercury Labs when a swarm of bees fly up to her window and take the shape of Brie's face. "Hello, Dr. McGee. You gonna open the window, or should I buzz myself in?" Brie smiles.

Back at STAR Labs, Barry and Macanese were there, both in their costumes. "How do we stop them?" Macanese asked.

"She's got to be remotely piloting those bees from somewhere." Wells answered.

"We need to stop this bug-eyed glasses woman." Cisco told them.

"And her mini bandits." Ray finished.

"Bug-Eyed Bandit." Cisco and Ray say as they look at each other.

"Got her. She's in an abandoned greenhouse." Felicity informed them.

"Barry, Macanese, you have to take out Brie. It's the only way to stop these nanodrones." Wells reminds them.

"What about Dr. McGee?" Barry asked.

"The defibrillator in your suits are broken. You both cannot risk going near Mercury Labs." Caitlin told them.

"Bees can't penetrate my suit. I'll go." Ray replied.

"Whoa. We haven't tested out the new power system yet." Cisco reminded him.

"We'll do it now." Ray smiled.

"I'm following you." Cisco said.

"I'm driving." Caitlin replied.

"And I'm kissing you." Felicity chuckled as she gives Ray a kiss before he walks out of the lab.

"Dr. Wells…" Barry tried to say.

"Mr. Palmer will protect Tina. Go." Wells said. Macanese and Barry zoomed out of the lab as Ray flew above and Caitlin and Cisco were in the van.

Back at Mercury Labs, Brie was talking with McGee. "You fired me, destroyed years of my research. You took everything from me." Brie complained.

"What you were doing was wrong. You wanted to harm people, not help them. I did what I had to do." McGee reminded her. Suddenly the swarm of bees started hitting the window and it cracks, the bees aiming to smash it.

"Found her." Ray told them as he arrives at Mercury Labs.

Felicity, can you jam their frequency?" Cisco asked.

"I already tried, but I might be able to redirect them onto a new target. Ray, get ready for incoming." Felicity warned.

"We have the technology." Ray smiled. He flies over to the swarm of bees and just as he starts shooting at them, he flies away. After that the bees start chasing him, just like he wanted them to.

Meanwhile, Barry and Macanese arrive at Brie's hideout. They walk in to find her sitting down, surrounded by computers. "It's over, Brie." Macanese told her.

"We know you're trying to kill Dr. McGee. You think that she betrayed you. I can imagine how that feels." Barry admitted.

"You think you understand the sting of betrayal? I'll show you what it means to be stung." Brie growled. Then another swarm of bees came flying out as they chase Barry and Macanese around.

"Barry, Macanese." Wells tries to say when suddenly the bees stop in front of the two speedsters.

"Barry, Macanese, I hacked into the bees' frequency. I'm controlling them." Felicity reassured them.

"I'm the queen of this hive." Brie reminded them all as she starts typing on her computer.

At STAR Labs, Felicity was cyber fighting against Brie. "Oh, she's good." Felicity complimented her. "She's like my nemesis. I've never had a nemesis before. I kind of like it."

Meanwhile, Ray was still being chased by bees. "Okay, Cisco. Now what?" Ray wondered.

"Ray, get to the ocean. If the bots follow you into the water, their electronics will fry." Cisco points out.

"Got it. Wait. But so will my suit." Ray realised. Then Ray ignored that thought and does what Cisco says. He flies over to the ocean and hovers for a while as he shoots at the bees. Suddenly, he dives into the ocean and the bees follow. The bees don't resurface but Ray comes out of the vast blue sea, but his suit isn't doing to well. "Cisco, I'm fried. I'm losing propulsion control."

"Can you see the van?" Cisco asked him.

"Yeah." Ray replied.

"We'll catch you." Cisco told him.

"You will?" Ray questioned.

"We will?" Caitlin wondered.

"We will." Cisco reassured her.

"All right." Ray answered.

"Keep it steady!" Cisco yelled as he opened the back doors of the van for Ray.

Ray then arrives at the van and lands inside. "Whoo!" Ray smiles as he takes off his helmet.

"The Atom lives." Cisco grins. They laugh and give each other a high five, which turned out to be a bad idea as Cisco groans as he hurts his hand on Ray's suit.

"Oh." Ray said.

"Let's work on some softer gloves for next time, okay?" Cisco wondered.

"Sorry." Ray apologised.

Meanwhile, Felicity and Brie were having a cyber fight on their computers. "Oh, you want to bring it? It's been brought." Brie smiled.

Over at STAR Labs, Felicity short circuits and Felicity yelps. "Rude." Felicity complained.

"Felicity, right now would be a good time to do something." Macanese reminded her.

"Stay away from Barry Allen and Lady CyAmze Macanese." Felicity ordered to no one in particular as she types quickly on her computer.

"Felicity!" Barry yelled.

"Got it." Felicity tells them. Then all of the bees stop in midair and fell to the ground dead. "Boom. Drop the mic." She turns to Wells. "It's metaphorical, of course, because I don't have a real mic."

Barry and Macanese then zoom over to Brie and spin her around in her chair before handcuffing her to it. "Brie's restrained. Call CCPD." Macanese told them.

Outside of STAR Labs, Ray was now out of suit and stepping out of the van. "Ah. Some kind of team you have here." Ray told her.

"Helps to have friends in your corner." Caitlin smiled.

As Caitlin and Ray were walking away, a bee came out of Ray's suit and as it headed for Ray Cisco sees it. Cisco steps in front of the bee's path and gets stung by it. Cisco gasps as he touches his neck where he was stung. "Are you okay?" Ray asks. Cisco breaths heavily before his eyes roll into the back of his head and he falls like a rag doll onto the ground.

"Cisco!" Caitlin screams. Ray hurringly calls for help as Caitlin starts giving Cisco CPR. "Come on. Please. Wake up."

"Cisco's been stung. He's going into shock." Ray said to the speedsters on the phone.

"We're on my way." Macanese replied.

"Come on, stay with me." Caitlin begged and Barry and Macanese walk over to Cisco.

"Hold on. Back up. We're gonna try something." Barry told them. Macanese nods at Barry and then hold each others hand and then use their other hands to shoot a little bit of eletricity through Cisco's body and shooking his chest.

"Cisco." Macanese worries. Suddenly, Cisco's eyes shoot open as he inhales sharpley and everyone sighs in relief.

"Either my fear of bees is over or it just got a lot worse." Cisco joked.

"Thank God you're okay." Caitlin replied.

"I've never had anybody take a bee for me. Thank you." Ray smiled.

"You're welcome, bro." Cisco said.

"Cisco, you're a hero, man." Barry reminded him. Cisco sighs as he smiles.

The next day, Barry and Atchaco were in their lab when McGee walks in. "Dr. McGee." Atchaco greets her.

"May I come in?" McGee asked.

"Yeah, of course. What can we do for you?" Barry answered.

"I wanted to apologize." McGee confessed. "I should have listened to you when you warned me about Brie. Perhaps next time I will take the CCPD's offer of protection."

"After we lost your tachyon prototype, I can understand why you were hesitant to trust us." Atchaco admitted.

"Thank you." McGee said as she turns to walk away.

"Can we ask you something?" Barry wondered and McGee nodded.

"We couldn't help but notice some tension between you and Dr. Wells." Atchaco pointed out.

"That's all in the past." McGee told them.

"Do you mind if I ask what happened between you two?" Barry asked.

"I ask myself that same question all the time." McGee admitted. "15 years ago, Harrison and I were thick as thieves. We were promising young scientists in Starling City. He was such a kind man. Then everything changed after Tess died."

"They were gonna get married?" Atchaco questioned.

"I understand how grief can affect someone, but this was more than that. It was like, after that day, Harrison Wells became a completely different person. Good day." McGee replied as she turned and left.

"Bye." Barry said as Atchaco waved.

Joe walks in and sees McGee standing there. "Doctor." He says before walking over to Atchaco and Barry. "How's Cisco?"

"Happy to be alive. And sad that Ray is leaving." Barry answered.

"It was a really brave thing he did, risking his life. Selfless." Atchaco admitted.

"Yeah. It definitely was." Joe agreed.

Later, Felicity, Ray, Barry and Atchaco are at Jitters. "And another end to another exciting adventure in Central City." Felicity smiled as Ray handed her a cup of coffee. "Ah, yes, thank you."

"Ray, thank you for all your help." Barry told him.

"Oh." Ray smiled.

"And I hope you figure out the problem with your suit." Atchaco said.

"I already have, actually." Ray admitted.

"Oh." Barry smiled.

"All this time, I've been looking at the power source the wrong way. I kept thinking we needed to go bigger. But the solution, as always, is simply to go smaller." Ray told them as he held up one of the robot bees in a tube.

"Oh. Great." Barry sighs.

"You okay?" Felicity asked.

"Mm-hmm. I'm gonna be. Thank you for your advice." Barry replied.

"I won't even charge you the 5 cents." Felicity jokes.

"Bye, Felicity." Barry and Atchaco said.

"Bye, Barry. Bye, Atchaco." Felicity said. She and Ray then walk out of Jitters together.

"Are you sure you are okay?" Atchaco asked. Barry turned to her with a smile.

"Yeah." Barry answered, pulling her into her arms.

Back at the precinct, Eddie was walking up to his desk when he saw Iris waiting for him. "Hey." Iris greeted him.

"What's up?" Eddie returned.

"I, um... I spoke to Barry last night." Iris said.

"Oh, yeah?" Eddie replied.

"He was trying to help me understand why you've been so off lately, why you might be having trouble connecting with me." Iris admitted.

"Really? What did he say?" Eddie asked.

"It was a good explanation." Iris told him. "Valid. But the truth is, it doesn't matter, because when you love someone, you tell them everything. So if you love me, Eddie, you'll tell me what is going on with you, or…"

"Or what?" Eddie wondered.

"You know what." Iris answered. She then grabs her things and walks away, passing Atchaco and Barry on the way to the elevator. Barry and Atchaco could tell something was wrong just by looking at Iris and Eddie, and it did not look good.

At Barry and Atchaco's lab, Joe, Atchaco and Barry were sitting down when Caitlin and Cisco walked into the room. "All right, all right, who's ready for some… ♪ Karaoke ♪'' Cisco sings.

"We are not going to karaoke, are we?" Caitlin asked.

"No." Atchaco sad as she stood next to the bulletin board.

"This is everything we know about my mother's murder and The Reverse-Flash. I've been gathering information on him for a long time. And this is everything we know about Dr. Wells." Barry said as he walked over to the bulletin board.

"I don't understand. What do Dr. Wells and The Reverse-Flash have to do with each other?" Caitlin asked.

"Um... They're the same person." Barry answered.

"That's impossible." Caitlin argues.

"Look, Caitlin, it took Barry and I a long time to believe it too, but it's him." Atchaco told her.

"Dr. Wells is a speedster? He's paralyzed." Caitlin reminds them.

"Is he, though?" Joe questioned.

"And why would he kill Barry's mother? It doesn't make any sense." Caitlin tells them, then she notices that Cisco has been quiet this whole time. "Cisco. Say something."

"I've been having these dreams." Cisco admits. "Mostly at night, but sometimes during the day. But they don't really feel like dreams. They... They feel real."

"What happens in the dream?" Barry asks.

"Dr. Wells is The Reverse-Flash. And... he kills me." Cisco answers.
