He asked his cold hands caressing her thighs.

Gulping heavily she forced a reply out of her quivering lips.
"Yes, am aware"

She replied without batting an eyelid even though she was a bit scared.

"I rule not just here, but the underworld and hell" he whispered his cold hands moving further in her thighs.

"You can't even stand my touch, you're shivering like a bunny."
He gave a hearty chuckle.

"Let's see how well you can please me. If you do well, we move to the next step" He whispered, his breath cold against her skin.

Accidentally getting a ticket, she must contest to be the king's wife. Unknowingly to her and the other contestants, the king was in a disguise as a guard leaving his brother in the disguise of the king.
What happens when Cecilia falls deeply for this guard ignoring her quest of winning the king's heart.
She had always been a simple girl who wanted a simple marriage and a simple home which led to her ignoring her quest of becoming the king's wife.

The princesses now had their mouths opened due to awe.


"Don't worry girls, we still don't know who'll win this contest, so it'll be good to know the likes and dislikes of the king. Don't worry, a time will come when he will get to speak to each of you for some time personally.


At least for today, you know he loves hunting"


"Now, for the sweet part, the king would be picking someone he'll go with on today's hunting. Brother, please"


She said as she gave way for him to come forward.


The purple-eyed man moved forward a bit before he stopped. 


A beautiful smile could be seen on his face. 


But if one was to compare, Zach, the guard was more Handsome than Jacob the king.


Even though Zach always had a blank expression on his face, he still looked incredibly good. 


His well-chiseled face together with his red eyes and dark-colored black hair made him appear like he was a painting.


He said staring at each of the princesses in turn with a smile.


He looked around the princesses until his eyes settled on Cecilia.


Cecilia gulped hard, first, it was the guard, now the king.


She asked softly making her voice filtered.


He said as he watched her approach him gently.


Zach from afar, only had one thing on his mind seeing Cecilia's childish words and actions.
