"Do you know what you're getting yourself into?"
He asked his cold hands caressing her thighs.
Gulping heavily she forced a reply out of her quivering lips.
"Yes, am aware"
She replied without batting an eyelid even though she was a bit scared.
"I rule not just here, but the underworld and hell" he whispered his cold hands moving further in her thighs.
"You can't even stand my touch, you're shivering like a bunny."
He gave a hearty chuckle.
"Let's see how well you can please me. If you do well, we move to the next step" He whispered, his breath cold against her skin.

Accidentally getting a ticket, she must contest to be the king's wife. Unknowingly to her and the other contestants, the king was in a disguise as a guard leaving his brother in the disguise of the king.
What happens when Cecilia falls deeply for this guard ignoring her quest of winning the king's heart.

I love the start of the story! It started with an invitation that she could never possible accept, but ends up being the one who will win the King's heart. The girls absolute realy love this plot. Good job author!

The story starts with a magical scenario. the story jumps to and fro to many characters but the author already explained to go with the flow. so I did exactly that. The thing i thought was magic was a curse. I feel bad for Cecilia.
The title alone was already catchy enough, and the plot was just spot on. The characters are amazing ,and the writing style and simple and sharp, not much words needed. The author has done a wonderful job here!

A good start for the book. The story seems interesting and I am looking forward to see where the author wants to go with this. The chapters are a bit short and the dialogue might be hard to follow but the storyline is engaging.
I will applaud the author's imagination. Catchy titles. An expert mix between fantasy and contemporary. There's also the mystery preceding each chapter. The good grammar and nice plot further solidifies it's grip.
