"Well fighting a god in my avatar form is not how I saw today going, "I murmured as I locked vision with the creature. My grip tightened on my sword as I frowned once I perused the stats shown in my vision.

[Well Here's Your Experience. Enjoy]

'Shut it' I gritted with the strain of the god's strength bearing on me.

A shockwave erupted from us spreading out and attempting to wreck everything in its path. Quickly pushing off and away I spun and dragging out the mana in me raised my hand churning it as my mind worked.

[Focus. I'll handle this]

I felt Quizarmukae move with my Minders reach and jumped to the side just as a notification registered in my head.

[SKILL CREATED]

[HARNESS]

Call of wind. Pull all surrounding wind energies to you. The greater the amount the more mana/divinity used.

MANA - 20 (rises by increase)

----------------------------------------------------------------------

[A/N - Mana is only used as a human. So don't be surprised when you see less mana being used in true form. Divinity points only boost his body capabilities or stats and also mana spells but drops by each unit used]

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

'How did you just make a skill?'I asked quickly even as I was already activating it. The shockwave was already upon the villagers who looked wide-eyed while Gerasmine was thinking fast erected. a wall of tightly twisted vines and branches to break the shockwave.

[HARNESS]

The shockwave halted then like a wave on a seashore it reared up and pulled back towards me. All this went down within a few seconds and the fight had just started.

[I'm The One Who Registers Your Skills For Easy Use Remember ] The voice shouted in my head.

[Watch] its shout along with the warnings from Minders Reach gave me time to duck down in a squat head bent down as Quizarmukae lunged past over my head. Without waiting I slashed out my sword backward not intending on letting it get oriented. My blade slit through what I was sure couldn't be flesh, it felt weird as the sword moved through it. I jumped away quickly taking my sword out of its body and looking at it while gathering the harvested shockwaves around me.

With the wind stirring all over me my hair whipped about while my clothing billowed as I stood there staring at Quizarmukae.

'This god is strange'.

[This God is strange]

We simultaneously pointed out the same thing. My eyes glowed as I looked it over before I realized something. A frown crossed my face as the idea came to me.

" You're no true god. Not born like the others at least. Fear and despair eh? You don't just feed on theirs you are it. That's why you don't have divinity points. You don't need divinity to grow. No, you need it. Just a different type."

I focused on a line in its stat arrangement as I considered what I just said.

Race - god (Aberrant)

'So that's what it meant. Didn't focus on it much at first but I'm getting it now. You're an unusual one I guess.'

Quizarmukae pounced with an enraged roar claws raised aiming to split my skull but I was already moving away eyes on it as it crashed down shattering the floor beneath it. Minders reach was just that good a skill.

It cast a glare at me the white eyes staring me down with blazing fury.

With a smile lighting up my face to give off a sense of control to my spectators while my mind raked for any way to deal with this unusual God I dashed forward and once again my sword slashed down only to be struck away by its front claws. Using the momentum I changed direction and spun avoiding the second claw that slice through the air.

My arm waved and I smirked as the sword sliced up and bit into Quizarmukae's skin before exiting through the back. Not an inch of wound adorned the creature.

"Tssssk" I hissed in annoyance but quickly smiled yet again as if it wasn't a bother.

Twirling my sword I struck away its claws that descended on me, then parried the second set of claws before striking out with my left hand deflecting the third limb halfway through its strike. I was reassured of sensing any attacks before they got to me. Yet the thing just increased its offense realizing that it wouldn't surprise me. Pushing me back step by step it gained the upper hand slowly. It didn't matter if could sense them now I still couldn't stop the fight yet.

Swiftly it slammed my blade up pushing my arms up, the opening was too good for it to waste as it spun and struck my chest with its feet sending me flying off into one of the various houses in the village.

I smashed through tbe wooden walls of various houses before flying through another where I broke through a table and slammed into a wall that shattered but held due to the reduced momentum. I coughed up blood as I pushed myself up and looked through the set of holes made by the distant creature with my body. Sighing I dusted off the debris and dust on me before looking at my sword.

[Don't Forget You're In An Avatar. ]

'Aye.' I looked at my chest where a rip of five obvious claw marks was with blood seeping slowly out of the wound. Ignoring the blood I looked back to my sword.

"It's not harming it" I stated puzzled.

"It's a god weapon and it's a god."

[It's Not Perfect As A God Weapon. It's More Of An Idea Of What A Good Weapon Can Be. So Yes Not Very Effective.]

"But its skin is strange. Almost..." a smirk stretched my lips wide as I figured something out.

"It had better be it," I said to myself before I squatted. My body dived up and into the air just as wings unfurled from my back stretching out upwards before flapping down powerfully adding more boost to my ascension.

The rooftop of the house shattered around my body, my head actually passing through by hitting the logs used to hold the roof making me wince. They never mentioned this part when taking off heroes breaking through rooftops. I peeled into the air before halting wins spread and keeping me hovered my eyes finding the Quizarmukae.

Somehow it must have tried attacking the villagers or got attacked, either was, it was currently being bound in a nest of vines and roots which was doing absolutely nothing in holding it.

Quizarmukae was constantly shredding and ripping the vines off him as he glared vehemently at Gerasmine who glared right back while weaving the thorns over it. Suddenly it exploded forward ripping everything off as it pounced right through the air and smacked into her shield which raised at the last second.

The force was enough to send her off but unlike me, she worked and landed on her feet slamming her shield into the ground as roots rose to bind her halting her momentum.

[She's good]

'She's trained '.

We simultaneously spoke again assessing her.

Quizarmukae was already moving though he'll be on betting its frustrations on her. Its massive form landed smashing the surroundings as its limbs descended in a strike on her. The shield was there quicker than I expected halting the strike though a crack visibly spawned on the round lifesaver. Watching as her feet struggled beneath to maintain footing and not give while her alarmed but determined eyes glared at the thing that had somehow found a way to become a god

Beneath the Quizarmukae's immense weight Gerasmine shivered as her strength slowly gave beneath the thing pushing her down while its left arm struck out for her abdomen.

I dove down pushing a bit of energy into my wings to speed up.

The air behind and around me shattered as I broke the sound barrier appearing right next to their face right up with hers as I looked at the city within those beautiful orbs called eyes. My hand grabbed the limb about to split her in two a grimace going up my face as my hand sunk into its skin. I flinched away quickly but not before tossing away the creature back to the ground where it belonged. Its skin felt like touching rotten mushy refuse. Disgusting.

I sped off tapping into my divinity yet again and feeling it rush through my avatar's body. Like a boost, my eyes turned a fierce gold and my body hummed with a shrill as my bodily capabilities spiked even more.

I ran circles around the Quizarmukae making cuts and slashes all over it. Like a whirlwind seen only as a blur of motion I zipped all over within the short diameter creating mirages of myself that struck several poses of attack.

[SKILL CREATED]

FLAIZE GLAZE

Create a spin of combo attacks that form mirages seen but unavoidable. Ends with a last deadly strike with a fifty percent chance of giving critical hits.

DIVINITY - 3. (Created while using divinity. Use of mana will lead to lesser or failed effects)

The Quizarmukae barely realized anything, just staring about in confusion as it tried to catch up. It felt dread run up its spine making it leap back trying to evade certain death. It was midair when my sword now wrapped in a bright gold light cleaved straight through its neck. Cleanly severing it from the body.

I watched as the head dropped off its still-standing body as I halted a wind gust blowing after me and shattering the area behind me. Sword pointed to the floor I stared at the headless body as it tottered and then fell on its side raising dust.

'The end?'.

[That Wasn't Supposed To Happen.]

'Maybe our assumptions were wrong' I argued hopefully my heart already settling while ignoring how ironic it was that we weren't overjoyed at its death. I guess it just felt wrong for some reason

I turned waking back to the watching villages as a spatial crack swiftly formed beside me and I tossed the sword in. My grin stretched even wider as I gave off a confident air. Don't blame me, I'm desperate for attention literally.

[Far Be It For Me To Rain On Your Parade But Should Not Something Important Be Happening]

"Something like?".

[It's Our First God Kill So I'll Chalk This Up To Inexperience. You Might Wanna Take A Look Behind You]

Turning my head a bit to look back I saw an annoying sight. The Quizarmukae hovered as darkness seeped into it, The steamy black gas rolled up its body and into the headless neck. Slowly a head reformed until the eyes flashed open the white glare locked on me. Pressure descended on me and my surroundings. Stones shook and crumbled. Cracks split the ground and caved it. But I felt nothing.

'I feel like I'm in an anime where the boss does a last-minute power-up. Wait isn't that the hero's part? This is so twisted ' I complained.

[This Confirms Out Earlier Thoughts Though]

'Yes, It Does. This is me hating that I was right. Argghh. I come and suddenly I'm facing something that goes against the norms.'

'It won't be enough for it right?'

[You Need A Lot]

'I'm screwed'. For the first time throughout that night, my smile faded a frown formed on my face. I didn't realize though but my body had subconsciously turned with my to the villagers. Now backing the villagers it kept them from seeing my serious expression.

The Quizarmukae now standing fully snarled at me then stepping back it raised its head and uttered out a deep howl. The sound was arduous and sorrowful. Like a cry of despair, a wail of pain beyond measure. For some reason the cry made me feel a grave sense of fear and despair. It felt like I would die if I remained there. No not like I would, it was certain. I would die.
