76 - Third Realm

The said All-father was busy though, completely lost in his thoughts about the third realm he was making.

He wasn't clueless about the fight happening but Berus had assured him all was being cared for. To be safe in case of any mishap though he had sent Gerasmine to watch over the fight and keep everyone safe. That and other items he had handed to her to remedy any situation there.

After that, he was focused on his creations. The third realm was important maybe even more than the first two realms.

Erizos didn't make use of the Creator's Odyssey this time around. Instead, he created various rulerunes. These rulerunes hovered and spread all around him.

The realm he was making right now could be said to be the largest of all realms. The runes flew in different directions each already brimming with energy to release the coded instruction within them.

Slowly the terrain changed. First various stars lit up the sky dragged in here by the runes that were sent up. The stars were tiny but numerous covering the black sky with twinkles.

A moon hung at the corner forever in place while a second moon rotated around it. The moon was made from various cooled stars and mixed with deposits of Vnth Ember Metal and Davstung. Vnth Ember metal could reflect light from various bright surfaces. As such it reflected the light of the thousands of stars hanging in the black sky. Davstung was a black metal that was known for its malleability.

With both, it was easy to forge a moon for this realm. Though the black tint of the Davstung helped to absorb some of the starlight reducing the reflection of the moon and making it just as bright as what he knew a moon to be.

It also gave a blueish hue due to tbe dimming of the reflection thereby coating the realm in a blue tint.

The ground was a never-ending sea of sand ongoing for miles in all directions. The Broken Star itself was set not as a constellation this time but as trees. The trees formed a garden each planted in a pattern that when looked at from a bird's eye view would show the same constellation as The Broken Stars.

The trees themselves were withered and black with no leaves. Their roots were stuck firmly into the sand where they stood. Miles away at the center of the realm a tower stood.

The tower was as tall but nothing compared to the pagoda. It stretched up in an attempt to touch the skies above it. Jagged spires forming a crown of boulders atop it.

Surrounding it cutting the area off the sand from the territory of the tower was a lake.

But it wasn't any normal lake. The black waters were closely recognizable as the Black Liquid of the Land of the Morningstar. But it had a slight difference. Unlike the first, this one released a fog that rose above and created a wall of dense vapor around the tower.

What the wall could or could not do was left to the future. Beyond the dense wall was a courtyard of gleaming polished marble that adorned the ground and walls within the tower territory.

A path led to an entrance. A gate made from Dead metal and little Davstung blocked the entrance into the tower. Normal stone walls rose around the gate with a few divine rules set on them.

Within the tower was the main show of the entire realm. A chasm at the center where a pool could be formed was empty. But it wouldn't remain so.

"This should do it" He muttered.

[Good enough]Berus agreed.

[Still, be quick to finish with the rest. Time won't always be on our side]

"Even here?"

[Especially here. Remember, our time can only affect our creations or lower lifeforms. Not other All-fathers]

"We're already going as fast as possible."With a sigh, he turned and looked around. The realm was complete. Sands roared as storms wrecked about in the distance. The tower stood lifeless like a haunted structure.

Erizos shook his head while he bent and forced a black bead and gold bead one into the dry pool and the other he embedded on a stone pillar that rose at the center of a pass.

If one entered the tower through the Dead metal gate the first thing he would see was the long hallway that led to this grand room. There were numerous rooms in the tower but that was for whoever would stay there.

The main highlight was this room. The spherical structure was pleasing, the black walls giving off a sense of doom. A circular platform sat in the center rising and having three stairs on it.

On it was the insignia of a skull with a dagger passing through its left eye. Using his fingers Erizos inscribed words in large letters that were not English but words derived from his Tongue of Erlezoian.

He could still remember the jabs Berus had laid on him when he discussed creating their language. Not to digress he focused on etching the words completely.

" U'RA NAK PARO ALZ KYM"

Regardless of the meaning he ignored it and walked to the spot where he had embedded the black orb on the wall to the right. The wall was part of an arch that separated the spherical room from the pool in the only place that wasn't dry looking.

A garden of irresistible beauty sat at the other side of the realm. From the bird's eye view, it would be seen how one side was now alive and brimming with beauty while the other was dead and filled with nothing but sands. It was more of a large forest than a garden.

Yet funny enough both sides received the same moon. It was within this garden part right at the very edge where the arch separated the two sides like a black and white part where the pool sat.

Embedded in its base was the golden orb that glistened periodically.

One side of the realm was a garden of beauty from the tower to the end of the realm on its side. On the other was nothing but sands. The black lonesome tower stood in between each part equally set in sand and garden.

The Broken Star though remained located on the side of the sands. Many would wonder why the only way out of this realm was located in such a harsh looking part.

But the answer was as simple as any. It was simply because no one was meant to leave from there. The dwellers of this realm were only meant to be here.

" I did it" Erizos nodded at the details of the third realm.

[Don't slack now connect it] Berus was quick to push him on. Erizos nodded knowing he was right. Quickly he opened his creator module and searched for the panel where he made the Divine rules and Rulerune.

Once he found what he wanted he shifted the module and extended both hands. Looking like an ancient sorcerer about to cast some powerful magic he began.

His right hand and then his left began to move in intricate patterns. The rulerune Erizos was drawing was one he refused to engrave within his seat of consciousness. Instead he chose to only cast it by drawing its rulerune outside.

His fingers went up and down, left and right in circles and other shapes drawing an invisible symbol in midair. His feet on the black stone ground of the tower moved front and back like he was adjusting his footing.

By the time he was done a rulerune glowed in midair. It was huge and coloured with two different hues, some parts white and some black. Tendrils of black and white smoke left Erizos and connected to the rune which enlarged with each amount it got.

Then with a snap the rune shattered into specks of black and white motes. These motes multiplied increasingly as the spread about in the Nether realm.

It was clear how the black motes surged into the area of the samds of time while the white motes remained in the gardens of Calharra.

Through all this Erizos never took his eyes of one light speck. It was arguably bigger than the rest. And was all black in color, the spec of light floated up and down continuously never actually leaving the spot where it hovered.

"This?" Erizos was curious to why it was different.

[It got more of the rulerunes code than the several others.]

"What does that do?"

[It can...]

"Control the others. " Berus made an affirmative sound within his head.

"Hmmmh. If that's the case then.." Erizos turned up his right palm watching all four eyes twinkling with excitement.

The black mote hovered for barely a second before shooting down with speed to land on his palm.

[You would use it?] Berus asked to confirm

[Smart. Would have hold over all life and death that you give it jurisdiction for]

"Yes. But for now let's see how the fight is going. I'm short on energy, it would be bad to be completely drained when a problem arises".

[I'm glad my intelligence is rubbing off you. Truly glad]

" F**k you".

[Hows that suppose to work]

Exasperated Erizos almost face palmed the light mote onto his face. A laugh reverberated in his head.

"I'll just try designing other things while waiting for the them to either finish up or call for me". With that said he pulled up the creator module and began looking at it with a frown. His forehead creased and eyes focused while his brain went to work.

[Not like he knows how to use it ] Berus stiffled a chuckle as he thought to himself. An action that was useless since it was a one mind one head and one brain thing he had going here.

An eyebrow twitched on Erizos as he ignored the thoughts that weren't his personally.

"Inner peace. "

"Inner peace".

The mantra hummed as he breathed focusing while Berus died from laughter in his head.
