BACK HOME

Way back home, things were a little bit complicated. Paul lived with his monster wife and his daughter being controlled by his wife. There was a cold battle between the husband and wife which affected their daughter a lot, emotionally and psychologically.

Linda had never felt any form parental love from her parents, she was always by herself, fending for herself emotionally, and along the line, she turned into a chronic bully even in her new school.

Linda walks in with the noisy classroom with three of her friends, immediately the class grew silent. Linda scoffs in satisfaction and matched straight to a boy with glasses. "Hi Raymond." Linda sneered and removed the boy's glasses hastily. "Can you see me? How many fingers can you see?" Linda asks almost poking two of her fingers in the innocent boy's eyes.

"Oh dear, he can't see anything." One of Linda's friends mocks.

"No, that's bad. We shouldn't mock him for being blind." The second friend mocks too.

"I agree too."

The third friend adds and the four friends burst into laughter. While all this was going on, no one dared talk or made a single move to rescue the victim, even the victim didn't say a word as he just kept quite and was staring practically at nothing. Without his glasses, he couldn't see anything clearly, it was all just blurry.

Linda's mom is now the legal owner of the Heart Rose hospital, no one dare mess with her daughter of all people.

"What will happen if I decide to break your glasses now?" Linda asks the boy agin who sitting lifeless.

"I won't do anything." The boy replies.

Linda smiles and wears the glass back for him, pats his head and whispers gently. "You are a very good boy, because you know your place." That being said, Linda moves to the next target. "Miss Julian, how are you doing?" Linda asks as she pushes her head in a very hurtful manner.

"We heard you tried report us to the school authorities, are you in your right senses?" Mercy asks.

"You must be very stupid to do that." Natasha adds.

"I guess you were not in your right senses then." Maria concludes.

"I don't think I can take this bully anymore, please leave me alone and stop bullying me." Julian sobs.

"What a scene!!!!!" Linda exclaims mockingly and keeps pushing her head but this time a very hard way. "You are my play thing, bullying you and making you cry gives me pleasure and relieves my stress."

"I am human too." Julian tries to protest but Linda shuts her with a heavy slap. "P—please—- just let me be, I promise not to cause any troubles." She pleads.

"Crying won't solve anything, until I stop seeing you, I will always make you cry." Linda says and ends her speech with a smile.

Paul walks in the sitting room and sees his wife watching her favorite television program, he was about to ignore her and just go upstairs when she decided to lecture him about courtesy.

"Courtesy demands that you say hi when coming from outside." Jessie says still keeping her watching the show.

"Don't you dare lecture me." Paul says his words one after the other.

"Or what?" Jessie asks as she stood and faces him. "What would you do?"

Trying to pick up a fight would surely be useless,he decided to ignore but noticed his daughter was watching the scene.

Seeing her parents in that manner was no new thing, even though she never knew the reason, Linda ignores both parents and matched straight upstairs to her room.

Paul wasn't buying any of it, his wife's attitude and his daughter's. So he head up straight not uttering a word.

The next day, Linda walks downstairs, on her way to school but was amazed when she saw her mother setting the dining.

"Why did you cook?" Linda asks staring at her mom right in eye, things like this never happened in their house before, so it was quite shocking.

"What sort of question is that? I cooked for you and your father." As she was talking, her so called husband stepped out and was amazed with what he saw too. "Come and have a seat and let's have breakfast."

Was she trying to make up for all the terrible things she had done? Even though she was trying to make up for all the terrible things she had done will it bring back the dead? Will it make her return the hospital to the rightful owner?

"Why did you cook?" Paul finally voiced out.

"Have your seat, and let's eat."

"Why?" Paul asks again.

"Because I didn't poison it." Jessie sat and the rest did the same too. "Please enjoy."

The meal tastes very good but it seemed not too go down well with Linda and her father, probably because it was not made from love.

This was how Linda and her family lived, like strangers yet family, feeling very lonely. Linda was known as a very pathetic bully and nonentity, while Paul was known as a workaholic, Jessie the owner of the Heart Rose hospital that no one who ever dare to mess with.

Paul was the first to stand after taking just three spoons. "I am running very late, thanks for the meal." He says as he walks out.

Linda did the same too after some seconds, she left the house again leaving her mother all by herself, maybe because of the kind of person she was, nobody realized that she was so lonely.
