Gentleman on the Train.

The train station wasn't filled with people, as Edward had always seen. he had travelled in trains in other nations but this was the first time he was so nervous.

He adjusted his sleeves which were constantly building out ruining his clothes. The weather was a little cold as winter was very close.

He was in a proper attire, with a white robe upon a white and black suit. He had chosen to hide all weapons and the suitcase in his hands, as he stood on the platform waiting for the train to travel to the other side of the kingdom.

He looked at the route for his travel on the map hung on the wall behind him,

"There are five stops."

The route itself wasn't that long, Edward would have chosen to travel on a horse or a car but both of them were slower than a train and he needed to reach his target in near time.

"They sure are overlooked in this nation, Lucius will have a lot of advantages of this in the long run."

Edward wondered about the lack of attention towards railway construction in the country from his contacts, there was only one track and that was in Britannia.

He was familiar with the power of railway connections throughout the country it was a weapon of active war but there were other things to wonder about too.

"I wonder what she'd look like."

Edward wondered about the girl he was about to meet, he had last seen her a few days after she was born. He had left her alone for many years in the hands of the unknown.

"Hello there, gentleman."

"!!"

Edward was brought out from his thoughts by the words of a man standing beside him.

"Hello..."

The man beside him had a body figure just like Edward, a big chest and muscular body, his hair and pupils were black. He seemed to wear casual attire of a full-sleeved shirt and black trousers.

"You seem to look quite nervous. Are you worried?"

The man sensed Edward's worries from the atmosphere around him, this put Edward on guard as the man was able to crack through his calm and stoic demeanour.

"Yes, I am meeting my family after a long time. It just seems too long before I've seen them."

Edward didn't lie but these words were vague the man beside him just smiled and looked at him,

"Ohh... I am going to meet my future wife today, it seems we have a lot in common."

The words were enthusiastic it seemed the young man was very excited about his marriage.

"It's a love marriage, I guess."

Hearing the words the young man shrugged, his face had little blush.

"Yes, we have been in love for 4 years now, although secretly because I didn't have a job. So, I came to the capital for work, it has been a while since I am here. We haven't had any contact except a few letters."

Edward smiled at the words, he was quite amused to hear the words too.

"I see... Looks like the pair are enjoying their time. I hope you can convince her parents too."

"She doesn't have any parents. She is an orphan while so am I."

"... I am sorry."

"It's not a problem, you do not at fault for this."

A minute of silence took the place of the amused conversation, long before the man probed another conversation.

"Sir, what is your name?"

"It's Edward. Why do you ask?"

"It's just that you are like my sister. Your eyes when you are standing are nearly identical."

"Sister..?"

"The orphanage I grew up at had all the boys and girls call each other sisters. One of them, like she was just looks like you."

Edward had one thought in his mind a very natural and heartbreaking one,

"...."

No matter how much he resisted the voices in his heart were blasting all out.

"What is the age of the girl?"

"It's probably somewhere between 7 to 8 years. They never know the real age of the children."

"The name?"

"Her name is Jennifer. She is a quiet girl never talks much, red hair."

"I see. Well, I know nothing about her, maybe she is related to me by any means or it is just a coincidence."

"I see, Okay. We can forget about it and Ohh... I forgot to tell you my name."

"No need the train has nearly arrived I can hear it from afar. I hope you have a good afterlife."

"Afterlife?!..AHHH..aug."

That very moment Edward slit the knife coming out of his sleeve and slit open his throat and throwing on the railway track, as the train passed by a dead body.

"You gave up too much information for your good."

Edward had already obtained much information about Jennifer, her name wasn't Jennifer officially and she had her hair dyed black she did grew up at an orphanage but always remained at the military centre for long periods.

Edward entered the train and sat on his seat looking out of the window and asking himself.

"I wonder what Dia would look like?"
