The King's Failed Return

Lieren is one of the Adorned — powerful people with magical abilities bestowed by the Great Arcana — with the unique ability to resist status effects because of his mysterious predisposition. He meets others, challenges his ideals, and loves to read. As well as battles mysterious creatures and other Adorned. Along with King, a man who calls himself the harbinger of King's Oblivion — the event that caused the immobile gears of fate to move — he moves across the continent of Lucifica, making connections while staying trying true to himself and his lofty ideals, whilst seeking revenge for the ones he left behind. He will fight, lose, and desperately try to survive until his vengeance is exacted, as well as help those he values along the way.
