"What just happened there, Detective?"
Detective Bolin glanced over at Shen; while trying to light his cigarette, his hands were shaky as he tried to light his cigarette, "climb in the damn car Shen, "be happy you are alive."
"Why would you even consider taking us here, and who are you? "You should watch that tongue of yours, a young man, and not mention this to anyone.
He won't spare you; detective Bolins eyes grew black as he tightened his fist at the thought of Jun being punished for his mistake; he tried to justify his guilt by sticking to the story he had built up; it was like yesterday, the Christmas family warming, just with Bolins and Jun family, his wife thought it was an excellent idea to let Bolin and his family get out for a bit.
He was married to an American lady online. Her name was Elsa, they were talking for months before she moved down to China, and they started a life there; detective Bolin invited Jun and his family, and Jun excused himself from the table and went to the kitchen, placing his Plate in the sink shortly Elsa excused herself, they were more than Fifteen minutes gone Bolin had decided to check up on his wife. As he was about to enter the kitchen, He caught Jun with his pants down and his wife's skirt up; he never confronted the situation as he should have, but it did bother him; the sight of his wife disgusted him.
He wanted to confront Jun numerous times; he had seen what had happened but thought of the consequences.
Shen had been quiet all day and even skipped pitching to work, Bolin had tried contacting him, but his calls went to voicemail; when going to Shen's house, everything was locked up; Shen and his family seemed to have cleared out of the house and disappeared overnight, Bolin noticed the furniture is all gone
He had hoped Shen hadn't confessed to anything because the dark lord would kill him and his family, or did the dark lord already get to him and his family? Since everything was cleared out, this could be a cover-up.
Bolin started questioning why the Dark lord had chased him out like a dog when touching his forehead. Had the Dark lord seen something? It was hard to tell his reaction since the Darklord remained faceless.
The dark skies unfolded, revealing the shadows of what the moonlight exposed; the forest has a thick layer of mist; I heard howling and walked up to the center of the field; as I looked around, I saw shadows of the walks walking over to me, Ling walked up to me, as he transformed back.
"Kai, I was not expecting to find you here at 1 am." His eyes were yellow his long sleek black hair hung down below his shoulders.
I looked at him and looked over at the pack, then glanced back at him.
"Betrayal Ling Betrayal is what keeps me up."
Lings draw closer his eyebrows, "betrayal?" He repeated, I felt different. I felt I was ready for this confrontation. No matter the outcome, I was ready to challenge anyone who hurt people.
Ling, Ling, I repeated the difference between a lion and a hyena, is a lion kills its prey before eating it; a Hyena, however, I let out a faint smirk as I took a step forward, looking him in the eyes.
A hyena eats its prey while it s alive from behind; moving closer, Ling turns and stretches his arm, opening hands and telling them to stop.
"What are you saying, Kai?"
I smiled, wearing my black leather Jacket and blue jean. My black hair had gel in it. I placed my right hand in my pocket.
Ling, I know what you have done.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me; you sacrificed Mia, nearly killing her, but to your disappointment, things didn't go as planned; the pack of wolves growled at me with their sharp teeth.
"Kai, where are you getting all this?"
The stones lit up; my eyes grew red, and I felt angry that he denied it.
Enough with your games, Ling; what was your motive? One of the wolves in the pack Jumped over Ling's shoulder, ready to bite me; I took one step back and stepped to the left, grabbing hold of the wolf by the neck; my touch had paralyzed the wolf as it fell to the ground, crying, "what have you done?" Ling got on one knee and tried to touch the wolf as the others growled at me; the moment he touched the wolf, he was shocked and fell to the back, changing into a wolf; I placed my arms behind my back.
A white light circled me, and the dark forest lit up lighter than a stadium as the wolves jumped toward me and simultaneously fell to the ground.
I clenched my fist as cries came out; they lay on their side, howling in pain; I could feel they're inside squeezed as my eyes changed yellow.
"Kai, stop. You are going to kill them" I heard a scream. I looked back. It was Mia, running up to me.
She broke through the shield. "Please stop. This is not your fight. It's my fight, and they are the only family I know."
I must admit she had a point. They could have abandoned her at the house and let the house burn down with her in it.
I took a deep breath as I restrained myself. The light dispersed, and the wolves were lying helpless on the ground; I walked up to them and touched the head of wolves. Within seconds they stood up and ran off into the woods vanishing behind the tree.
Deep into the forest, on the highest tree, stood the Darklord witnessing what had just happened, "This kid's weakness is beside him." The Darklord whispered and looked over at Jun.
You will bring me that girl tomorrow, it will bring him here, and we will kill them both; who is that girl? The dark lord wondered since she was the one who was taken by the wolf pack. She could walk through the light more powerfully than the others; He ran his sharp nails through the wolf and pushed it up into the neck as the blood ran down the tree; he held the wolf up by the neck; Jun looked up at the dark lord, and grabbed it turning his back to the dark lord eating the raw meat of the wolf tearing through the thick fur.
Jun's eyes lightened up red and yellow. "See, I do take care of my people." Said the dark lord as he grinned; the dark lord's eyes were fixed on Mia; there was something about her that made her different from the others, her eyes, her skin, her confidence; she was a beauty, maybe taking her on his side to make her the dark Queen would,t be a bad idea, he looked at Jun who was chunking away at the big pieces of meat, then let out his evil laugh, "thats not a wolf its a stray dog" but did you taste the difference? What the mind hears is what it believes."
Jun didn't care what it was; he knew it was his best meal since he had eaten forty-eight hours last.
"What were you thinking, Kai? We need them if we take down the Dark Lord."
We dont need them. We can do it by ourselves; I will take that asshole down before he can complete my -jonathan Roelof- "I dont doubt your power, but it's just that we know so little of your abilities.
"I know I can feel my power; I've never felt like this."
We walk back to the house.
"His still learning his abilities? So he doesn't know who he is?" Said the Dark lord, and if he dared to insult me before my Queen, I should turn him into a headless chicken. The dark lord snapped angrily, "He dares to insult his maker. Does he know who I am?"
Jun turned to the dark lord, im sure he does, master, and his strength is more significant than yours. The Darklord slapped Jun so hard he fell down the twenty-meter tree. And stood up, looking up. "Master, do you need help getting down."
"No, you bloody Idiot."
We arrived home; everything was quiet, and everyone was asleep; we walked to the lounge, and I sat on the sofa. Mia sat beside me and leaned her head over to my shoulder.
"I can feel when you are not around she whispered, looking up at me with her brown eyes."
I brushed my finger over her slick black hair; she looked up at me.
"Does it bother you what happened in my past?"
I nodded at her question, "It does because it bothers you since you found out you haven't been yourself." She placed her hand over mine and closed her eyes, snuggling tightly against me.
I felt a presence around, a familiar presence, "The dark lord is around."
Mia lifted her head, looking at me in shock, "what are we going to do."
We are going to do nothing; he saw what had happened in the woods. And he has a plan; it's too early to tell what it is.
