Let's go and meet your uncle then. Part 1

Elijah POV:

To be honest, patience has never been one of my strongest virtues, and all this waiting for things to line up so that we can finally move forward has started to irritate me.

But then again, it's not like that everything is in my control, and if it requires ten days for the grains to arrive, then so be it.

What I am more interested in is the fact that Sirius and Snape have finally made some progress with regard to developing wands for their personal use.

Don't get me wrong. Having or not having a wand makes no difference for me, but for the others, it has been a rather pestering handicap.

Something technical gibberish about having a magical conduit makes casting spells easier and stuff blah I don't know, man, good thing that all these restrictions do not apply to me because of my blessings.

Moving on the island has been progressing rapidly, and now we have a total population nearing two hundred thousand residents.

Good thing that we had made the glass houses and everything and the fact that the surrounding waters are rich in marine life. Otherwise, we could have faced a food shortage.

I never thought that I would like ruling over people, but seeing their happiness and the gratitude that they show towards us makes my heart warm. I don't know whether I would be able to reach the high expectations that my subjects have of me in their minds, but

seeing them happy makes all this worth it for me.

Though I think that it's high time I do the second summoning, for some reason, as of late, I have been having this hunch that things are about to get really interesting. Though I might be wrong, and all this just be me over thinking things as usual, but I guess there is no harm in taking countermeasures .

Ayaka POV:

"His reactions are adorable ," Ayaka thought to herself as she was escorting Ragnar to the council room.

" So Lady Ayaka, tell me about your brother Elijah? From what I have heard, people think of him as holy Saint and just ruler and their savior who broke their shackles of slavery and gave them their dignity and honor. Is he really like the stories that they speak about him or is he different?" Ragnar asked Ayaka.

" Um, how do I say this, Elijah is just Elijah .

Sure, he did everything that the people speak about, but he did it basically on a whim .

My brother hates slavery and he gave them their freedom and had them healed because he wanted to not because he was expecting anything in return from them. Even if the people had decided not to follow him, it wasn't as if he would have been upset regarding that.

He has always said that there is already too much pain and suffering in this world, and if you are in a position from where you can help someone feel a bit of relief and relieve them from their suffering then you should do it without expecting anything in return.

He always said we all are the children of God and its our duty to take care of each other.

According to him, it's a Nobel 's duty to take care of his small folk without expecting anything cause if we Nobels don't take care of our subjects, then who would?

People generally confuse that with him being a Saint at times, but in all honesty

my brother does the things that he does not because he should but because he can and all his random acts of kindness is a result of his own beliefs and has nothing to do with the divine. " Ayaka explained to Ragnar .

" Well, that is certainly an interesting way to look at things," concluded Ragnar.

" Well, on the plus side , it's good for public relations, and everyone loves him, and by extension, they love us" Ayaka replied .

Elijah POV:

I was going through the daily reports of everything when the servant knocked at the door and came in to inform me that my sister has brought a guest and is seeking an audience with me.

"Yea, sure, bring them in and arrange for snacks and tea for everyone " I told the servant.

" Elijah, let me introduce you to Lord Ragnar Stark, the leader of the company of the Rose from Esos and the new champion of the old gods" , Ayaka introduced Ragnar to her brother.
