Junie couldn't rip her eyes from her boyfriend's face. Kian looked so on edge, his lips tight and a defined tick in his jaw. He was also gripping her hand much more tightly now.

"It's been forever, man!" Liam said once they stepped in front of the booth he was running. "I don't think I've seen you since high school."

"It's been a while," Kian said, forcing his lips to tilt up even further. "How have you been, man?"

Liam smirked a little and gestured down to the items on his table. "Oh, you know. Keeping busy, been going to a lot of cons."

Junie finally looked away from Kian so she could smile at Liam and look at the merchandise he was selling. Her eyes rounded as she took in the colorful prints hanging on the panels above the table and the keychains, bookmarks, and other items in the same style that were laid out artfully on the wooden table.
