Synopsis

Junie is a shy cosplayer and content creator who finds it difficult to allow others to get close to her. She finds that posting videos online about making costumes fills the void caused by her loneliness.

During a convention, she meets Kian, a fellow cosplayer and content creator who is determined to pull Junie out of her shell. Although the connection she and Kian share is electric, Junie finds herself retreating to her reclusive ways. But Kian is determined to be with her.

“You frustrate me so much,” Kian grumbled, his hand slipping through Junie’s hair as he held her close.

“That’s my line,” she mumbled, sliding her hands around Kian’s sides to rest them on his back. “You’re the one who refuses to listen.”

He quirked a thick eyebrow down at her. “And yet, you’re still here.”

She wasn’t sure if she wanted to throttle the man or kiss him. “You’re here. Where else would I be?”

I enjoy the romance genre more than any genre (save for fantasy) and this is one of my favourite romance stories thus far. I can relate to most of the characters, which I believe is a plus for any story. The writing and descriptions are wonderfully crafted, which shows the writer's skill. I'd love to read more and would recommend it to others.

Great story and premise in general. I think it's a very cute contemporary romance. The relationship between Junie and Kian develops in a very adorable way, and I highly recommend it for folks who enjoy contemporary. Not a fan of/supportive of the AI cover, as I support human artists, but sadly that is a commonplace on this platform. Aside from that, the book/writing itself is great.

Although I'm not a fan of the romance genre, I will try my best to give an honest review. First off, I like the relationship between Junie and Kian, and how they interact with each other. Their relationship starts low and develops in an adorable manner. I also like the grammar usable in this novel, the author did a good job in that development. However, I have a few complaints. One, why did you lock your chapters after the 9th chapters? How are the readers going to engage in such a story? Lastly. Although it is a minor issue, please use a better cover. I understand most people use AI generated covers, please use a better cover for your novel. After all, that's the first thing the readers look at before they read your novel. Well, that will be all. Thank you so much for this story.

Excellent work of art. The author is a talented writer, and the use of grammar is applaudable. The characters are relatable, and it makes the work lovable and nearly flawless. A recommended read for book lovers!!
