Junie is a shy cosplayer and content creator who finds it difficult to allow others to get close to her. She finds that posting videos online about making costumes fills the void caused by her loneliness.
During a convention, she meets Kian, a fellow cosplayer and content creator who is determined to pull Junie out of her shell. Although the connection she and Kian share is electric, Junie finds herself retreating to her reclusive ways. But Kian is determined to be with her.

“You frustrate me so much,” Kian grumbled, his hand slipping through Junie’s hair as he held her close.
“That’s my line,” she mumbled, sliding her hands around Kian’s sides to rest them on his back. “You’re the one who refuses to listen.”
He quirked a thick eyebrow down at her. “And yet, you’re still here.” 
She wasn’t sure if she wanted to throttle the man or kiss him. “You’re here. Where else would I be?”

Junie was still dreaming about the night she danced with Kian, even while she worked. 


Junie grinned and stood back, wiping a bead of sweat off her forehead. She looked around, feeling like bouncing up and down like a little kid. It had taken dozens of hours to get her fairy cosplay up to her ridiculously high standards, but she was finally satisfied, even happy with the final product. 


With some intricate beading along the bodice and ruffles on the edges of her skirts, Junie’s outfit was quite a bit more complicated than Kian’s. Since Junie was able to finish Kian’s cosplay early, her boyfriend was able to take his home. This allowed him to ensure that the colors of the weapons he was making would match their outfits. 


Junie blushed as she imagined how she and Kian would look entering the convention center together in their matching cosplays. It would be obvious that they were a couple.
