Chapter 41: The Dawn of Understanding

“Can you believe that Kami Con is only a month away?”

Junie was on the floor of her living room, fabric strewn all around her. She looked up from the piece that she was meticulously cutting to give her boyfriend a wide-eyed look.

“No,” she said, shaking her head in wonder. “Time is but an enigma to me anyway though.”

It was Kian who realized that they were running out of time before the biggest convention of the year and they had barely started working on their cosplay for it. It was officially crunch time for the two so they decided to spend just about all of their free time dedicated to working on their outfits.

It was no easy feat but Kian had brought his 3D printer to Junie’s apartment so that they could use her place as their main workshop. The mid-sized machine was whirring and squeaking as it printed part of the headpiece that Junie had designed to go with her outfit.
