While Xu Han's actions caused a significant shock in the world, the man is enjoying his time as if nothing had happened.
"Now that you're my disciple, I'll first teach you a technique to sense the darkness law because that is your strongest talent and what can be easily thought; your affinity with spatial elements is only second to your darkness talent, but grasping spatial talent won't be easy without any foundation at all." Xu Han said after celebrating briefly.
Although Xu Han mainly intended to take in a lackey to have someone deal with tasks he doesn't want to, his lackey can't be weak.
After all, there are many more troublesome things that he has to deal with sooner or later. Especially since these humans have quite an advanced civilization and information spreads very fast.
Xu Han is aware that what he did earlier has already been seen by many people; though he could hide it, he does not bother doing so at all just because he's not in the mood to do so.
It'll be something that this new lackey of his to deal with, take it as training.
Yu Xue was already excited about being able to do things that ordinary humans aren't able to do, so he began comprehending the information that Xu Han transmitted to him.
"Now, just comprehend the foundational guide I gave you in sensing mana in the atmosphere and form your mana core with your dantian." Xu Han instructed.
Xu Han continued, "After that, I'll teach you how to sense and gather spiritual energy for cultivating immortality. Now you're just a weak ant; even bullets could kill you easily. My disciple can't be weak, or else I'll lose face if you encounter a problem on this planet, and I have to save your ass."
After imparting all the necessary things, Xu Han bid farewell to Yu Xue and told him that if he had any questions, he could ask him if they were together at school.
Yu Xue was amazed once again because when Xu Han started walking away, it was as if he was teleporting farther and farther when he was only walking at an average pace.
Xu Han arrives at his old house that he inherited from his parents.
The place is not big or small, just right for a family of three to live in, but since he's already alone for an unknown reason, the place is more than enough for him.
Thinking about what to do next, Xu Han sat on the couch, opened the television, and switched to the news channel.
The first news is already about what happened earlier a few hours ago, showing clips of the moon splitting in half and getting restored a few seconds later.
Xu Han made a faint smile on his lips, seeing human experts giving their opinions on what occurred and being interviewed by these news channels. They make logical random guesses, and some even go as far as to say that it is not real and only a movie production.
The only ones who know the absolute truth are the high-ranking officials of governments and certain other people with sufficient power.
Hence, this strange occurrence sent an alarming realization to humanity's top powers: there are unknown and mighty things they are unaware of.
Such powers are capable of destroying and restoring the moon. The beings or people who did this are not exaggerated to be called gods.
A global investigation has already been initiated immediately in hopes of catching hold of clues for this unknown power hiding under a veil right under everyone's nose.
Unfortunately, everyone would be disappointed, as the being who did that won't reveal himself unless he wants to.
No matter how advanced humanity's current technologies and methods are, they're no match for a mortal who has reincarnated and almost recovered his peak strength.
After entertaining himself with the shows on the television, Xu Han switched off the television and decided to cook something to eat for dinner.
Though he was already impervious to hunger and things that humans necessarily need to stay alive, Xu Han still chose to eat the foods of this world and taste the ingredients that are currently unique to him.
After a full and satisfying meal, he jumped on the bed and slept like a log.
The next day, Xu Han woke up full of energy, not that he needed to sleep. It just feels nice to rest the mind and relax without worries.
It was 6 am this morning, and Xu Han stretched a little, then got out of bed, preparing to whip up something for breakfast. There's one drink that he's excited to try, especially since it's morning, and it's usually drunk during breakfast to start the day, and that is the hot drink that the humans call coffee.
After finishing everything and cleaning up, Xu Han is prepared to head out and explore a bit since he hasn't gone anywhere far besides his home and school.
Xu Han had already stepped outside the door when he sensed something: A creature approaching Earth with a life level of at least a celestial disciple.
A few hours ago, during the dead of night, a lone celestial disciple-level cultivator flew within the void to return to his home planet after an arduous adventure on the neighboring Andromeda galaxy.
He suddenly sensed an intense spiritual energy fluctuation that even had a hint of mystery, as if it contained profound laws he could not understand.
"I hit the jackpot this time. I was casually passing by this barren starfield and sensed energy fluctuation. It could be a treasure that's about to appear!" The human cultivator said in excitement and then rushed towards the direction where he sensed the treasure.
It only took the human cultivator a couple of hours, as he was already less than a hundred light-years away from it.
After a couple of hours, the cultivator has already entered the solar system and is fast approaching a blue-looking planet, Earth.
He sensed nothing extraordinary besides being the only one filled with life from all the other planets on this system, and all its inhabitants are mortal.
Realizing this, he decided to show off and see the terrified faces of the insects living on this planet.
The cultivator expanded into a one-hundred-thousand-foot figure, twice the size of the Earth, which is only roughly 41,867,559.28 feet.
As this happened, most of the humans were already looking at the sky, terrified to see the gigantic body of a figure; it was as if they were ants and powerless to resist.
A booming voice from the giant filled with power and authority resounded within the heavens, "Mortals! Prepare to meet your maker!"
The figure can't wait any longer and wants to flip over this planetary system to investigate the treasure's location.
He gathered all his strength to obliterate this tiny planet into countless pieces; as for why? It's just because he wants to and has the strength to do so.
But before the giant figure releases all his gathered strength, using his sword.
He abruptly stopped, froze in his spot for a second, and attempted to flee as fast as he could.
Unfortunately for him, a spatial blade made from tearing the fabric of space over a hundred thousand feet long had already appeared and slashed him in half from top to bottom just as he turned his back and was about to dash away from this place.
All the regular humans on Earth are shocked and dumbfounded by what happened.
One moment, a mighty being appeared and was about to annihilate them all, and then the next, that exact figure. got scared and attempted to flee but was slashed in half instead.
The various governments are even more shocked because, based on the data recorded when the moon was split in half, it was the same method and thing used, and it also looks the same, but this time, it's on an entirely different scale and size.
Flashback to before the aftermath of everything that has happened,
"Mortals! Prepare to meet your maker!" The gigantic figure boomed his voice.
"A mere celestial disciple dares to play tricks in my presence?" a faint but majestic voice resounded in the figure's mind.
Just this single sentence is enough to send shivers down his spine; it's clear that a senior in this area, or even within that blue planet, possess strength far higher than his own, as he cannot sense this person's presence.
After the initial shock, the celestial disciple-level cultivator knew that he had to escape immediately if he wanted to live his life since he had already offended this senior. Unfortunately for him, he was as slow as a snail in the eyes of Xu Han, an Immortal Paragon level cultivator based on his current recovered strength.
Seeing that the uninvited visitor was already about to flee, Xu Han's voice resounded again in the figure's mind, "Since you're already here, why not stay here forever?"
And then, with a slow swipe of his arm, a tear in space formed even more extensive than the figure in the void and slashed him at a speed faster than light.
