After arriving at the marked location on the map, Daniel saw a wooden carriage surrounded by several powerful elven knights clad in shiny metal armor.

They noticed Daniel approaching and unsheathed their swords, however, the guard captain slightly raised his hand, indicating his men to lower their weapons.

He walked towards Daniel and extended his arm for a handshake. "I am William. Nice to meet you, Fate." He introduced himself, a warm smile plastered on his face.

"The pleasure is mine, William." Daniel replied in a formal tone. He wasn't familiar with William, but he had to maintain a good relationship with him during the mission.

"Is he the one who's going to protect the carriage? He looks weak…" While William and Daniel were chatting, the guards in the back started whispering in each other's ears.
