Deadly Liquid

Jabbar turned his seat around facing Large screen before him. Pressing the keys on a long length keyboard.

On the screen Jabbar opens up a window screen of waves and numbers which were constantly changing.

"What's this?"

Jabbar pressed several keys on the keyboard making the waves and numbers move backward. At last he pressed a separate button making every motion occurring on the display stop.

"Do you see the waves and their curvature?"

Looking closely Clark nor the other two find anything unusual with the waves. Everything about them felt completely fine until the scientist moved his finger closer to the screen and pointed at one of the bigger waves.

"Look at this, do you see anything different?" Jabbar asked once more by giving them a hint.

On closer inspection, their eyes caught something which before they felt hard to notice, which was some small waves created within a curved point of a wave.

Although they did get there were small waves created moreover they haven't found the meaning behind it.

"These waves aren't normal waves, as you know we have been using these wave detector machines to locate gates."

Jabbar again begins to press down several keys before him opens a screen of completely paused numbers.

"I made an astonishing discovery regarding another world when a found some unusually activities"

On the screen there were only numbers going down, as it starts zero, one, two, three then again zero, one, two, three except there was a part where instead of numbers were written alphabetical letters, five Y's in a single row and three N's just beside in another Row.

Touching the screen with his finger Jabbar said.

"Whenever a Gate appears we get two Y's and one N's. That's how we learn a new gate's presence. But this is different"

At first it could mean that more Y's and N's shows that there must be a powerful gate out there however…

That wasn't the case…

"doesn't that mean that if there are more Y's and N's there must be more gates?"

There was some sense in Clarks words, since this couldn't be a powerful gate because gates energy is measured with a different energy measuring while this machine only works for detection although they aren't the best because sometimes these machines fail to detect as they aren't perfect.

"That's what I thought when I first reviewed it but after examining and breaking down the code I found this code to be completed different from when a gate is detected"

Giving a look to the three, having a serious expression on his face he said further.

"After working on it for half a mouth I was finally about to locate its location and what it really is"

Clark's curiosity rose, when the system screen appeared before him.

[Would you like me to check more details on this matter? It might be related to the Laytin Tamin and Teleportation portal]

"Teleportation portal?" Clark muttered to himself however his voice reached in the ears of others.

"Yes, that's right, Teleportation portal. When a teleportation portal forms then these codes appears and most importantly this Teleportation portal is connected to a different world"

This kid… he looks young and he was able to tell it's the code for the teleportation portal in a single glance while it took me half a mouth…

Jabbar mistook Clark for a smart kid without knowing that his saying "Teleportation portal" happens to be an accident since others can't see the system screen as for them it seemed as if Clark was paying attention to the screen in front of them.

"doesn't this mean it's dangerous, does the government know about it?"

Jabbar took a sigh as he relaxed back, comforting himself.

"They know about it very well, but my fear came true. After finding a giant hole to enter that world I immediately told them however…"

His eyes showed stress as he continued talking.

"It was covered with light greenish water like liquid. It was weird how normally that liquid was moving above that giant hole and how mysterious it appeared."

Showing a small footage of the same liquid moving around on the screen.

"See this, the greenish liquid wasn't getting sucked by the hole that's right beneath it."

"That looks like a river," Sara said on her first look.

"it does, but the problem with this liquid appeared when we thought to enter this greenish water"

"What happened?" the curious Clark inquired.

"A whole person got dissolved in a mere second"

What?!!!...

"Aren't barriers used for the safety before going into any dangerous area"

Magic barrier, which have been often used whenever hunters or hero's or any person have to enter an area that's too cold or too hot.

The inner side of the magic barrier keeps the temperature stable making the person inside it from melting from hotness or freezing from coldness. Even with the barrier entering, lava was completely safe.

But for this liquid, the magic barrier which is cast upon someone when coming in contact with it, deactivates and disappears. Because of which they weren't able to enter this water.

Nothing else was in the favour of scientists as he tried whatever he could but failed at each method. The biggest challenge was the government whom he asked for assistance but never got any attention rather than getting ignored. The government prioritised the gates which not only gave them valuable stuff from killing the monsters but money… all the burden was on Jabbar and Kamal who came to assist him later on, shoulders.

"That failed badly, so I decided to give up and post that article your talking about"

"Did you post that article? But why would you do that?"

Jabbar instead of giving a proper explanation regarding why he wrote that article and published on the internet rather he answered with a single word.

"Awareness"

Jabbar questions the three of them.

"Are any of you capable of solving this problem?"

Jabbar's main focus was Clark who happened to be in his thoughts with his hand on his mouth. From Jabbar's perspective Clark seemed smart and the way he was thought he might have some solutions.

He didn't know that Clark's focus was on the system screen which was loading up something.

[Location found]

The system showed the location of the giant hole which the scientist was talking about.

That's when another text from the system appeared on the screen.

Seeing it, Clark gave out a grin and said. "I think I have found a way"

Hearing this, Jabbar displayed a grin and said in his mind.

I knew this kid was special.
