Anna is a girl capable of controlling time ever since she lost her parents. However, by using her powers recklessly, she ended up being adopted and exploited by a corrupt noble family, pushing her body’s health to its absolute limit.
To Anna’s surprise, a boy with an unknown identity offered her something she can no longer remember. That’s because, to her astonishment, she was sent back in time to the moment she first arrived at the orphanage, granting her a second chance.
Her friends—those she hadn’t seen again since being taken in by that family—were now standing in front of her once more. With that, Anna gained the resolve that if this wasn’t just a dream… she wouldn’t repeat her past mistakes.
Despite her lingering fear of using her powers, Anna is determined to live this second life in a way that truly matters, forming bonds with friends who will stand by her side as she faces the chaos of a world shaped by magic and the political ambitions of a selfish few.

Chapter 7 - A Risky Move
Anna stood across from Darius, the most respected and calculating player in the room. They had tied four times in a row, something no one had ever seen before.
“I’ll raise the stakes,” Darius said with a cold smile, pushing a massive pile of chips to the center of the table.
The dealer turned to Anna:
“You must match the bet, or you’ll lose automatically.”
Anna hesitated, glancing at her dwindling pile of chips. She was out of money. The murmurs of the spectators grew louder. Finally, the dealer offered her a way out:
“You can play on credit, but if you lose, you’ll have to pay it back—with interest… or face more serious consequences.”
Anna swallowed hard. She knew continuing was a massive risk, especially since exhaustion was creeping up on her. But Leo’s words echoed in her mind, urging her to keep going. She looked at the dealer and, with unwavering determination, declared:
“I accept. I’ll double the bet.”
Silence fell over the room as the game resumed. Anna used her ability to rewind time and fix every mistake she made. But with each use of her power, the fatigue took a heavier toll.
The minutes ticked by, and when she finally scored a perfect 21, leaving her opponent in the dust, her body couldn’t take any more.
“Anna wins,” the dealer announced.
But before Anna could celebrate, her vision blurred, and she collapsed in front of everyone, leaving the room in complete shock.
Shameless author here (˶ˆᗜˆ˵) Writing a review of your own book isn’t easy, so I’ll just share a few thoughts. Also, if you have any questions about the novel, don’t hesitate to ask! First of all, what is this book about? It’s about a girl named Anna who lives in a medieval world where surviving is tough, even though there’s magic. Are there fights? Not really, or not many, since this story focuses on drama, the development of the protagonist’s powers, and her relationships. What kind of girl is Anna? Anna starts out as an innocent child, but after experiencing how some people lack empathy and discard others the moment they’re no longer useful, she takes on a more cautious attitude in her second life. However, she’s determined to build a better future for herself. If you enjoy quiet novels with escalating challenges, you’ll probably like this one. Is the protagonist super powerful? Honestly… no. While, yes, rewinding time is awesome, it comes with limitations. There are mages capable of causing chaos on a much greater scale. Anna’s advantage lies in having multiple chances to reduce or prevent harm to herself and her loved ones. Will there be romance? Yes, but it will be slow. I’ll make sure it’s worth the wait. Romance, you say! So… a harem? I don’t want to spoil anything, but there will be love entanglements and certain inevitable consequences for our protagonist. I’ll do my best to make this aspect satisfying for you! How often do you update? Currently, I write two to three chapters a day. This number might increase in the future if you keep supporting the novel with gifts or stones to help more readers discover this story.
I really love this story. I started it last night & read 70 chapters !! after that though the next chapters have "chapter 71 13" for example and it is an earlier chapter with other characters mixed into the sentences. I think to prevent theft? does this app really have this novel's authors permission to be disseminated? I hate to think that I spent so many coins to support this story and author; to be deceived.
