im really not fond of horror story. but this book got me hooked and spooked. sometimes i feel i really don't want to read anymore because horor theme is not to my liking and i admit some story made my body hair on my hand rise and felt cold. but the book got me more curious and curious. so i kept reading. Curiosity killed the cat , i guess. the mc only have task detail and rewind as his cheat, mc not really op . so the mc really need to use his brain when facing Strange entity. that's what made this book interesting. so conclusion this book interesting, sometimes funny, and of course scary enough for people like me who dont really like horor. (for people who like horor maybe this book more like not scary enough but interesting to read)

My Review Based on 170 Chapters The MC is heavily dependent on his rewind cheat—without it, he can't even defeat a low-level monster. It was enjoyable at first, then average, and now it's just bad. For example, there's a ghost granny killing her family members. The system issues a task to help the family but warns that doing so will attract the ghost's hatred. The MC had previously helped this ghost, and based on her character, she wouldn't harm even strangers as long as they didn't get in her way. However, being a goody two-shoes, the MC accepts the task. At this point, he's already being haunted by another, more powerful ghost that keeps following him. He ends up needing external help to deal with the granny, and during the entire arc, he is more of a side character than the protagonist. In another mission, his shadow gets possessed. Despite the system explicitly warning him to refuse the ghost by saying no, he says yes. Now, the ghost tries to kill him whenever his shadow is reflected in moonlight (basically every night). By the time I stopped reading, this issue still hadn't been resolved. A similar situation happens in My House of Horrors, a novel that is far superior to this one. Later, the MC gets an offer to collaborate with someone on a video shoot but rejects it, saying he wants to work alone. This decision makes no sense—he could have easily earned money, and he had already collaborated with his school friends in the past. His reasoning is that he doesn’t want to involve ordinary people, but the person offering the collaboration is a professional with experience and even has ghost slaves (though the MC doesn’t know this part). If you read this part, you’ll see that the MC's explanation feels completely illogical, especially since his main goal is earning money by recording ghost encounters. At the current point in the story, the MC receives a difficult mission with both a main and a side task. The side tasks offer no system rewards, but he can earn money from the rich families affected by them. The system warns him to attempt the mission only after gathering enough energy to rewind, but he still recklessly goes through with it. He decides to complete a side task that provides no energy, just monetary compensation. The main mission location is only a few meters away in an underground cave, where he nearly dies multiple times but survives using his rewind cheat. Then comes the first surprise—the MC gets infected. Even after rewinding, the infection remains, meaning he is destined to die no matter how many times he goes back. After exhausting all his stored energy, he barely manages to complete the side mission. But then comes the second surprise—the guy he rejected for collaboration sends his ghost to kill him. (Honestly, I understand the guy's reasoning—they both earn money from the same source.) The ghost successfully kills him, but the MC rewinds one last time using his remaining energy. However, he's still on the verge of death. At this point, I expected the shadow ghost to help him, but nope—the MC actually dies. When he wakes up, he checks his video footage to find out how he survived. Turns out, the ghost that had been haunting him since the granny mission had secretly left a backdoor in his body. This backdoor allows the ghost to control his life—if it dies, it can use the MC's body to revive itself, which would kill the MC in the process. In this situation, the ghost's split soul takes over his body, kills the attacking ghost, and heals the MC just to keep its own revival option intact. So now you can understand what I mean by "heavily dependent on his cheat"—the MC just does whatever he wants without thinking things through, and even his survival is no longer in his own hands.

first of all, this is a horror story with mc that has rewind skill on his arsenal and he can know the condition to expel the spirit(from the system of course). the story development is good, not fas and not that slow either, its like we see his daily life. the ghost and eerie explanation is good too.
