The redundancy of writing is really annoying. But the concept is good.

Chinese novel translation more than a few reading issues but it can be understood and overall not a bad premise or read, if just a bit to much redundancy and pointless posturing.

The idea for this novel is really good and it made me want to push thru, hoping it would be a good read. Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. Although the writing itself isn’t bad. Their is just too much fluff, nonsense, and unnecessary over explaining. Every small move he makes is preceded by him analyzing the situation or others over the top reactions for a whole chapter. And it’s not like he’s smart or anything so he doesn’t get any benefits from this over analysis. The things he talk about in his head are so obvious that it seems the author is directly talking down to the reader. Assuming they are too stupid to understand. Which is ironic bc this guy obviously only has very superficial knowledge of many of the one piece characters. At this point their are 27 chapters but if you cut out the fluff. Their would only be about 4 or 5 chapters worth of actual content. Overall, its simply not a book worth reading in my opinion.

The concept is interesting, but the dialogue is horrendous. Unnecessary background dialogue and atrocious writing. It causes the plot to move at a snail's pace. Overall, very boring to read.
