Lena asks herself this question after a freak encounter with a wolf leaves her bitten and transformed. It took no time once the symptoms hit for her to realize she was a danger. A killer.



So, ignoring her shattered heart, she leaves.

For the next five years, Lena did all she could to forget by starting a new life for herself in a little rural town. But, just as the moon rises, the past finds a way back. Eason, a star ice hockey player and owner of her heart, wants her back. And ushered with him comes an old crime tying them both together.



Lena knows she should push him away, it’s the only way to keep him safe.



Yet, through the turmoil of it all Lena can’t help but think that maybe ... being a monster isn’t that bad after all.
