Chapter 134: Super Huge Tentacruel

"A giant Tentacruel?!" Ash's expression darkened as he gazed at the massive figure before him. He hadn't expected the events of the anime to unfold in reality.

Its appearance alone was terrifying, but what followed was even worse—a colossal tsunami towering over ten meters. Ordinary defensive measures wouldn't be enough to stop it. If they failed to contain it, the consequences would be catastrophic. Lives would be lost, and the town could be devastated.

"All Pokémon that know Rock-type moves, use them now to block the waves!" Officer Jenny quickly regained her composure. Despite her fear, she wasted no time issuing commands.

She had feared something like this would happen, but she had expected it to be caused by the Tentacruel group's combined Surf attack—not by the sudden emergence of a massive Tentacruel.

The Pokémon that had already created a five-meter-high protective wall quickly resumed their efforts, stacking more rocks to increase the wall's height and thickness. They needed to create a barrier strong enough to hold back the massive wave.

Meanwhile, Tentacool had led its nine guards toward the coral reef—their former home—to destroy the structure built there by humans.

Upon arrival, they launched relentless attacks, bombarding the foundation with various moves. At first, their efforts caused minimal damage, only chipping away small pieces. But as the attacks continued, cracks began to form.

Tentacool's eyes brightened at the sight of the damage. Encouraged, it intensified its attacks, determined to bring the structure down completely.

However, it hadn't anticipated what would happen next.

As soon as the foundation crumbled, strange machinery hidden inside was exposed. When seawater rushed into the damaged structure, the equipment short-circuited, sparking violent explosions.

The impact was immense, sending powerful shockwaves in every direction. The explosion not only obliterated the building but also destroyed parts of the surrounding coral reef. Tentacool and the other Tentacruel were caught in the blast, their bodies thrown by the powerful currents.

Tentacool, in a daze, felt something strange attach itself to its body. Before it could process what was happening, a searing pain coursed through its entire form.

It writhed in agony as its genes mutated at an alarming rate. Its body grew larger and larger until it broke through the evolutionary barrier—transforming into a massive Tentacruel.

When it regained consciousness, everything looked different. Its vision had expanded, allowing it to see the entire battlefield at once. Even the distant town of Rampur was visible.

Looking down at itself, it saw the immense size it had gained.

Experimentally, it moved one of its massive tentacles—and waves surged violently in response.

Tentacruel's eyes gleamed with understanding. It had gained incredible power. Without hesitation, it lashed out with its tentacles again, creating massive waves that surged toward Yumachi Wharf.

The ten-meter-high tsunami made Tentacruel fully realize its strength. Even without using the Surf move, it could summon a wave stronger than any it had ever created before.

This power was beyond anything it had imagined.

Strength: Champion Level

"The strength of a champion-level Pokémon... It actually reached champion level!" Ash muttered in shock.

He had expected the giant Tentacruel to be powerful, but he hadn't anticipated it reaching champion-tier strength.

A sense of relief washed over him despite his initial fear.

The sheer size of this Tentacruel had made him worry that it was on the same level as the giant Dragonite they had once encountered.

The giant Dragonite's power was classified as an unknown entity—possibly even within the realm of legendary Pokémon.

If this Tentacruel had been on that level, they wouldn't have stood a chance. No number of trainers would have been enough.

But this giant Tentacruel was different. If it was only at champion level, then they at least had a chance to fight back—especially if they worked together.

"Ash... is it like that giant Dragonite?" Misty asked, her voice trembling with fear. She still remembered the overwhelming power of the giant Dragonite, and now, seeing something even bigger, she felt hopeless.

Brock, standing beside her, also looked grim. If this Tentacruel was the same as the Dragonite, they were doomed.

"No... it's much weaker than the giant Dragonite!" Ash said firmly, trying to reassure them. "And don't forget—we still have Marshadow. If things get out of hand, I know Marshadow won't just stand by."

As he spoke, he glanced down at the shadow behind him.

Sure enough, Marshadow's glowing eyes briefly appeared within the shadow. But instead of reacting, the mythical Pokémon simply faded back into the darkness, silently observing.

Misty and Brock, not noticing Marshadow's presence, still felt a little reassured after hearing its name.

"But we can't just rely on Marshadow," Ash continued. "We have to fight. This was caused by humans, after all... we have to take responsibility."

Looking at the coastline, then at the people around him, Ash clenched his fists.

"Pikachu, use Lightning Bomb!"

At this point, Ash didn't bother hiding Pikachu's true power anymore. He wasn't sure if Lightning Bomb would be strong enough to stop the waves, but they had no other choice.

"Pika—PIKA!!"

Pikachu let out a sharp cry as electricity exploded around its small body. A thick column of lightning erupted from its form, piercing through the sky like a thunder dragon roaring in rage.

"What...?! That's not Thunder!" one of the Alliance fighters exclaimed.

"This is... a move I've never seen before!" Another trainer's eyes widened in shock.

They were right. This wasn't a Thunder attack.

Even Charmeleon, who had been watching Pikachu closely, burned with excitement.

It recognized this move.

This was one of the Three Phantom Gods' signature techniques—the divine thunder of Osiris, the Sky Dragon.

Charmeleon's tail flame flared brighter, its golden hue growing stronger.

It wasn't discouraged by Pikachu's power—instead, it felt inspired.

Raising its head, it gazed up at the dark clouds forming in the sky, its determination burning as fiercely as the sun.
