The Evening Moon

[Oneshot/Completed] Kurosawa Katsuki, a high schooler with a fierce, predator-like gaze, plays the role of the kind enforcer in a gang by day, while enduring abuse at the hands of his father, Masarai, a bitter, former star fighter, by night. Despite the gang's bullying, Katsuki secretly tries to soften their impact. A diligent student with a sharp intellect, he dreams of escaping his father’s grip by attending college far away.



Yuzuki, a brave classmate who isn’t intimidated by his fearsome gaze, soon notices the kindness hidden beneath Katsuki’s tough exterior. As she learns about his troubled home life, she begins to support him in small ways, even discovering he works at a convenience store to save money. As their bond deepens, Katsuki’s painful past and future ambitions collide, forcing both him and Yuzuki to confront the harsh realities of his life.



Will Katsuki be able to endure the pain and suffering until college, or is he doomed to repeat the same miserable fate as his father?
