After his battle with the Serpent of Nahun, it was the second time Arin found his spells being negated. His dark magic had no effect. This would frustrate any practitioner of the Dark Arts. But that was not the case with Arin. In his past life, he was a brawler. Not a martial artist, but he had fought many street fights to become a formidable opponent. Arin had fought similarly even after coming to this world, reborn as a Necromancer.

The battlefield was a nightmarish tableau of blood and carnage. This made Arin's necrotic blood boil. He knew his opponent was much stronger than him. But he had fought against such odds before. He did not check his level, feeling it might affect his mentality. He readied himself for battle.
