Synopsis

Five thousand years after the arrival of the light poles that divided the human and demon races, the barrier provided by them suddenly began to grow weak.

This made it possible for the demons to momentarily cross over to the human side, reigniting the war between the two races.

The demons thought they could easily overpower the humans just like they did five thousand years ago, unaware that things were different this time.

Catching the demons off guard, the humans were able to get the upper hand this time, punishing the demons for underestimating them.

However, things did not end there as the war carried on for centuries with the demons now taking them seriously.

It has now been ten thousand years since the light poles appeared on earth and the war between both sides was still ongoing.

Both sides were quite desperate to override the other, but with their strength being almost equally matched, it wasn't an easy feat for either side. However, the humans were aware that they were the side with more losses, and their strength was showing signs of diminishing.

To make sure the world in which their families lived was safe, a lot of people would leave for the frontline never to be seen or heard from again.

This was the case with Erian Slade who saw his father leave when he was just five years old, never to be seen or heard from again.

Unable to get a satisfactory answer from his mother about his father's whereabouts, Erian decided to go find his father himself.

However, finding his old man was easier said than done, there were steps that he had to complete first.

One of the steps was getting into one of the most prestigious academies in the world known for only training gifted and talented people.

Somewhat talented he was but being gifted was something far from him.

While his mates had broken through level ten and were heading to fifteen he was still stuck at nine with little hope of breaking through.
