C11 Busted

Barbara could be seen entering and leaving Deborah's room some hours earlier.

Edward, Joe and Deborah just played and watched the clip in silence as they didn't expect what they were seeing.

At this point, the two local detectives; Edward and Joe have seen enough.

They had seen enough and needed to let Johnson in on their findings.

Edward then asked Deborah "Why would Barbara steal the ring only to frame you? It makes no sense "

Joe had the same thought too but he just stood like a mannequin saying nothing.

Deborah let out a sigh of relief before replying

"I think we should get Barbara here to explain herself at least and also Grandpa too"

They nodded in agreement.

Edward and Joe stepped out and spoke in hushed tones with Johnson

Johnson said nothing and just made some varying facial expressions as he didn't want to let Barbara know that they were unto her.

Edward and Joe quickly went over to where Barbara stood and then said " Barbara dear please come with us, we have a few questions to ask you"

Barbara just smiled and said "Of course" but deep down, her heart was beating faster and her legs didn't seem to carry her.

Her gut feeling was telling her that shit was about to go left but she told herself to calm down since this case had to do with Deborah.

Instead of just going in alone, she was followed by Johnson, Patrick and Elizabeth.

Edward then started by saying " Mr Johnson's ring has been missing for days now but we didn't make it public as we wanted to carry out an internal investigation "

He then paused and looked around the room, there was a bit of tension felt in the room.

Edward continued " Our original suspect was Deborah as we found the ring in her room but right now there's a twist and this is where Barbara comes in"

At this point, they played the whole footage for not just Barbara but the whole family.

Barbara could be seen entering the room and placing the ring beside the diamond necklace owned by Deborah's mum.

Patrick was so disappointed and just looked at Barbara with disdain, he then asked her

"How could you do this Barbara? You didn't just steal the ring but also wanted to frame your sister. I am highly disappointed, whatever punishment your grandpa sees fit to give to you is fine by me "

Patrick then looked at their father Johnson and said

" Dad whatever conclusion you come to please let me know, I shall be going back to entertain the guests on your behalf, we've left them unattended for too long"

After saying this, Johnson gave him a look of agreement and Patrick departed.

Barbara started shedding tears because she couldn't deny it and ran to Johnson kneeling and pleading.

"Grandpa I don't know what came over me please forgive me, I just felt like you always favored Deborah over me. She always seemed so perfect in your eyes like she couldn't do no wrong so I wanted to prove otherwise "

Johnson just stood without saying a word and betraying no emotions.

He just bent a bit and spoke to Barbara saying "You didn't just wrong me but also wronged your sister and your entire household "

Elizabeth then walked up to Deborah saying

"How could you let your sister continue begging like she's a commoner, she might have wronged you but she's still your sister "

With these, she urged Deborah to meet Johnson and plead on her behalf.

Deborah was reluctant at first but then decided to petition on Barbara's behalf.

Barbara was already making a scene with Edward and Johnson standing there.

She knew Barbara wasn't sorry at all, she just felt bad that she was caught.

Barbara didn't expect the sudden turn of events.

Deborah ran and hugged her grandpa and said

" Dear Grandpa please forgive her but I agree with you she should be punished not just today, remember your party is still ongoing"

Johnson held Deborah and looked into her brown eyes saying

"You are just as kind, forgiving and beautiful as your late mother, I will forgive her on one condition"

"Anything Grandpa and I will do, as long as you forgive me and don't send me away," Barbara said.

"You will personally ask your sister to forgive you and this event shall never repeat itself, otherwise the consequences will be dire"

Barbara agreed to all conditions but her heart was filled with more hatred for Deborah.

She made a promise to deal with Deborah later, but this wasn't the end.

Johnson then told Edward and Joe to keep this event a secret as it was a family affair.

They both agreed, they were Johnson's oldest and loyal servants, so they couldn't go against him.

He also paid them well, they had no reason to betray him.

As the matter was resolved, the whole family decided to go back to the party.

At least to see the guests off as it was getting late.

... At the party, Adrian and Oscar waited for Deborah to arrive.

She had been gone for a while now and wasn't showing any sign of returning.

Even the Dean too was getting worried and hoping nothing serious had happened as he couldn't see any of her family members either.

Patrick arrived first and started entertaining the guests and in no time the other family members appeared.

Jandel was also waiting for Barbara, he noticed her makeup had been smeared.

He then asked " Barbara have you been crying? Hope everything is fine "

She replied that it was nothing. Just mere tears of joy.

Deborah then joined Oscar and Adrian

Oscar first spoke saying "Deborah hope you weren't hurt, those guys looked mean for a moment "

Deborah just smiled and told him she was fine.

She then shifted her attention to Adrian and said

"Hey jerk, you couldn't ask me how I'm faring"

Adrian nonchalantly replied saying

"I can see that you have no injuries and you are back to your usual stubborn self so yeah "

She wondered what kind of man this Adrian was.
