While playing in his backyard, eight-year-old Tim is approached by an alien ambassador from another planet. The alien says "Take me to your leader." Tim says, "I'm the leader, what do you want?" As the alien attempts to negotiate for the right to use Jupiter as a refueling station for spacecraft, Tim bargains for improvements to his treehouse. Then, after seeing the leverage he has, he asks for increasingly incredible alien technologies that allow him to transform life on Earth while keeping the presence and involvement of aliens a secret from the world. While he has convinced the aliens that he is King of Earth, convincing the people and nations of Earth that he is the rightful king and should be in charge of negotiating with extraterrestrials is an entirely different problem. When other evil extraterrestrial powers threaten the Earth, Tim has to find a way to save the planet. If he can.

I'm really enjoying this original story and interested to see where this takes me. I appreciate the fantasy of an 8 year old's imagination and the contrast with how this eventually leads to an apocalyptic scenario has me coming back for more.
This is enjoyable reading. writing is flawless and combining humor and technical savvy makes it easy to relate to.👍
