[WSA ENTRY 2025]
Kieran Valteus was never meant to be anything more than a background character. A nameless extra in Eclipse of the Gods, he was destined to die within the first few chapters of the novel, his death serving as a mere plot device. But fate has a twisted sense of humor.
Waking up in a strange, stone-walled room, Kieran is faced with the horrifying realization that he’s been regressed—reincarnated back into the body of his former self. Yet, something is wrong. His past memories begin to flood in, revealing a truth far darker than he could have imagined. He is no ordinary extra. He is the Son of the Abyss, an ancient and forbidden bloodline marked by unimaginable power and a history of destruction.
Now, with powerful entities targeting him and a world that wants him dead, Kieran must unravel the mysteries of his heritage, learn to harness the terrifying abilities hidden within him, and survive long enough to figure out why he was never meant to exist in the first place.
But with enemies lurking in the shadows and the threat of death looming at every turn, the real question is: Can he survive long enough to rewrite his fate… or will he be consumed by the abyss within?
Oops, giving myself a 5-star rating because why not? I know I’m shameless, but who cares? Anyway, I’m writing this review after just finishing Volume 1 (The Beginning). This review is pretty much a Q&A, so feel free to ask if you’re curious. Is it a harem? No, but there is a female lead. Is there Yuri or NTR? ABSOLUTELY NOT! (Just for the record, I’m not homophobic—I just don’t like to consume or write any gay content.) These are common questions, but if you have anything more specific to ask, go ahead!
