Synopsis

How many seconds in eternity? The question that the foolish loner, Kiyomi Otonashi, attempts to find the answer to in this story. In his attempt to answer this question that seemingly has no answer, Kiyomi’s path in life seems to have unexpected visitors. Idle banter, meaningful conversations, and nonsensical nonsense are what begin to color his life.

Would Kiyomi Otonashi be able to do anything without the people he meets? Those hands stretched out to him won’t be able to do anything if he doesn’t reach out his hand, too. Nothing has changed. No one has changed. Kiyomi Otonashi hasn’t changed. But they can, right?

This is a simple story about people who desperately want things to change, even if they seem complacent. Nothing can change, no one can change, and you can’t change if you don’t step out of your comfort zone and forge ahead.

Chisel down that mountain made of diamond, no matter how long it takes.

This book is just a feeling in and of itself. Read the first chapter and for a moment I forgot I was reading a novel 😌 Great work author 👌

Really nice vibes with this one. Makes me feel an emotion I can't exactly describe. Although the narration upon narration without a lot of dialogue when I first started reading it is a lot different than what I usually read. I still liked it a lot.Keep on going,I think it has a lot of potential.

So I’m here now with all chapters read and if I had to describe this novel for new readers it would be imagine Hikigaya Hachiman inside a visual novel but with higher stakes supposedly without spoiling The writing is in 1st pov which I appreciate very much and the monologues of the MC is great, his development from the first to the latest chapter is great too. Would recommend this especially if u miss oregairu. Only complain I have is following who is speaking who, you will get used to it but it would be great if the author added the character mini expressions, body movements and labelling who’s speaking

This story was a surprisingly thought-provoking read. The balance between light hearted moments and deeper, more narrative driven scenes was really done well. Author uses formatting of the text nicely and as a nice storytelling tool. The dialogue is really well done, it made me laugh a couple of times. I can definitely see the potential here, and I really hope the author keeps updating. Looking forward to it :)
