Prologue:



There was no salvation for someone like her.



Born into darkness, molded by it, she had never been given a choice. She was raised as a tool, a weapon—something to be sharpened, used, and discarded. The world did not see her as a person. Neither did her parents.



They were villains—monsters who had carved their ideals into her very bones. And when they no longer served their purpose, she made sure they disappeared.



That should have been the end of it.



But fate was cruel.



Captured. Labeled a threat. The world refused to let her go so easily. The heroes didn’t kill her, but they didn’t trust her either. Instead, they put her in chains, tried to decide whether she was worth saving or just another mistake to be erased.



And yet—U.A. High, of all places, became her next prison.



Not as a student. Not as a villain. But as a test.



Thrown into a battlefield she never asked to be in, surrounded by people who saw her as nothing more than a disaster waiting to happen.



And maybe they were right.



After all, monsters don’t get happy endings.
