Some journeys begin when you stop running from yourself.
Lily has spent her whole life trying to disappear—into her hoodie, behind her sketchbook, away from the whispers and stares. In a world that praises thinness and punishes softness, she’s learned to see herself through a lens of shame. But college brings a quiet shift. Through art, unexpected friendships, and the courage to confront her pain, Lily begins to uncover something she’s never dared to believe: she is already enough.
Told with raw honesty and quiet strength, Chasing Perfection is the story of a girl who stops shrinking to fit into the world—and starts expanding to fill her own.
A deeply personal, soul-baring debut inspired by real struggles with body image, bullying, and healing, this novel is a love letter to every person who’s ever felt unworthy in their own skin.
You are powerful. You are beautiful. You are not alone.
okay... I already know that it is just ten chapters, but I felt obliged to write this. The story development and the writing style is not that bad, and the characters are relatable- as if they were real. The plot is quite unique as well, unlike those others that seem to copy one another.. Honestly, the author Is doing a great job.
