At first i wondering how you ganna write it to make it dark after reading it i say you did a pretty good job man you kept everything vage about shards and all can't wait to see how you will write them
Right now can't say much but the overall tone of the story is kinda new and refreshing. Liked the start and am looking forward to what is going to happen next and also enjoying how he is broken but still moves forward cause of love.
Good story and great plot, but the delivery could use some work and I would appreciate it if you could describe the scenery a bit more, because I don't know what to imagine in certain scenes, like describe the surrounding area and not just the rain, ravine and main parts, make them more detailed. Also the design could use some work as there isn't much said.
Mc is kinda dark and helpless there is a hidden hollowness at the root of his being. Somewhere deep in him, there is still a shadow of that lonely boy that hated the rest of the world. Lurking. Until he faces some mission/challenge that is too big for him to overcome alone, a situation where he has to trust and rely on others- or fail. This is when his "shell" might break - perhaps to a friend or significant other who is with him. And it shows that his biggest fear was actually "being alone" He also displays incredible strength of will, and infused with a never-say-die attitude that borders on the impossible When you think about people, they are strong but also have flaws. This is human nature. No one person can truly live in a void. Think about every story of a superhero, they always need someone. Its very adorable and wholesome yet dark and sad, the world is so beautiful and mysterious, the characters are so good from personality to design[img=Shocked]
