Okay, so first of all-WHO gave this author the right to slap me across the face with every single line like it was ancient prophecy? I came here for a little bedtime reading. You know something chill. And now its 3AM, I'm emotionally unstable, I've started grunting at rocks.
I love it or should I say I just like the idea, I went into the Book of Ashura expecting mythic greatness. But instead I got poetry lots and lots of poetry. The writing is good for a new writer

The Book of Ashur is not merely a novel. It is, without question, a recovered historical artifact, likely dictated by the world’s first fire-wielding linguist-king himself. The prose? Charred scripture. The tone? Soaked in the blood of extinct gods. The main character? A verified gigachad of mythic proportions. As I read, I began making annotated footnotes. My footnotes got footnotes. My dissertation spontaneously burst into flames and submitted itself for peer review. Highlights of my academic analysis: Chapter One clearly references the Ashurian Flame Spiral Theory, which I proposed in a drunken stupor last semester. The invention of language mid-story is not only plausible but canonically necessary. I support this with 47 stick-figure diagrams and a PowerPoint with actual smoke effects. The gods? Terrified. As they should be. My colleague Dr. Rockbottom agrees — and he usually only studies worms. In summary, The Book of Ashur is a sacred tome disguised as fiction. I will now be teaching an entire course on it. Enrollment is open. Prerequisites include: fire resistance and the ability to read while crying.
Author here, I was writing my other book The Flame That Forgot and while I was doing that all of a sudden I got distracted cause a flash of inspiration hit me, I couldn't calm my restless brain so I started writing this book. This book will blow your minds and is different from my other book with one being a new mystery system type tropes, this being the BEGINNING OF A MYTH
Author I am advising you, the chapters are all a little short, you have written more with the subsequent chapters but that is not enough ok you need to lengthen your stories
My Friend keep writing more and you will get good enough, your ideas are fresh but when will the Mc have fight scenes that will drop jaws or have I not read enough
The story has potential but I think your execution is a little weak, as you are a new writer it may be a little harder, work on it more or rewrite it, you should read some other works to compare and learn. Just my opinion.
